This 19th century folk art piece is hand crafted from all copper metals. It is well weathered and shows a nice patina. The horse and buggy measures 28" long and 14" tall. It is mounted on top of a directional. All pieces are in good condition. The base that the horse and buggy is attached to appears to have been replaced and repaired at some point. It is well weathered and shows a nice patina. The horse and buggy measures 26" long and 13" tall. The base that the horse and buggy is attached to appears to have been replaced and repaired at some point. This is expected with the age of the piece. Horse and Doctor Buggy Weathervane with Directionals
For auction is a doctor buggy drawn by horse weathervane with directional. I do not know if this a reproduction or not. The ball looks loose in the picture but it was not adjusted right and the ball drops down further and fits pretty good. I am also not sure if the directional is original to the piece. It measures 32" long and 16" tall without the directional and 5 1/2" wide. The directional is 29" tall and the N S and E W are not the same length. N-S measures about 18" and E-W measures about 22" This piece is in very good condition(makes me think reproduction) but does have a nice patina.

This is for a Large Vintage Antique Iron Horse Drawn Buggy Fire Department Fire Fighters Firemen Weathervane Wind Vane Folk Art. It measures 36 1/2" inches by 16" inches. It is in absolutely great condition but has been shot a few times with a low powered BB gun because it did not penetrate or dent the weathervane. It Just barely knocked the paint off of the horse around the heart area. It is not warped or bent. It say Pisgah VFD. I Do not Know if it is Original Paint or not and all of The paint shows signs of age and there is minor surface rust here and there, Very Minimal) It was found in the NC Mountains in a Hay loft of an Old Barn.
