A-3 Antique ARCHITECTURAL glass roof CRESTING Victorian FINIAL Fleur De Lis Lys
~~7 day auction~~ Up for your consideration are a lot of three antique glass roof crestings/finials. They are in the design of Fleur De Lis and each are embossed; Pat. Dec.1.91. 1(which from my research would be the Victorian era near the turn of the century c1891) These estate sale finds are extremely hard to come by and from what I have gathered rather rare and collectible. Then add to that the fact that you will be getting three beautiful colors; Cobalt blue, Amethyst, and Amber in one lot w/Free USPS Priority Mail shipping(U.S. shipping ONLY) Victorian period finials/crestings that have a dovetail base which would slide into a channel on roof top ridges or atop a parapet wall of a flat roof. I was lucky enough to be at the right place to buy some of these"glass tiles" with varying degrees of conditions. Those I am listing right ... morenow are the better/cleaner of the bunch, and most will have some remnants of black tar still on them(I have lightly cleaned them but some still have tar spots which should be removable) Clarity: Good Size: 5-7/8" x 6-5/8" x 3/8" Condition Flaws: Chipping. Cracks, scratches, and tar spots. Be sure to view the many photos(12) supplied and use the magnifier feature to help in determining their cosmetic conditions, photos will be of the actual lot of 3 in that listing.
