Boulder Bench Planter
This is a hollowed out 4500 lbs basalt boulder with a polished rim and Japanese maple with other plants in the middle and is set up for drip irrigation and low voltage lighting. The bench was made with 2-3/4" thick redwood boards which were inserted into a 6" deep notch and trimmed with 1/8' steel band. The bench can seat eight people no problem.

Architectural Wooden Sign "Bakery"
This fine unrestored vintage sign was salvaged from the 49th Avenue Bakery in Gary. Indiana. It dates from the mid 50's. Each letter is cut from solid wood and though weathered, there is no rot. Some of the letters have separated at glue points, but the separations are clean, complete and ready to be re-glued. The large"B" is 30" tall, subsequent letters are 18" tall. Antique Victorian House 1860 - 1890 Architectual Drawing Blueprint Floor Plans
Here is a great old find! This is an antique victorian architectural drawing with floor plans and maps for a victorian house. These plans were drawn by Rorison and Key Architects. The plans were for a house on Normal Street in Ypsilanti Michigan for a Mr. De Cue. Each page is drawn on a coated cloth paper with paper maps attached on the back of each page. The maps are property owners names and how many acres they owned. The drawings include a south view of the house. Second floor layout, first floor layout and a basement layout. The drawings are rolled and attached to a wooden dowel covered with a heavy canvase. There are some rips, torn pages and other minor defects. Please review the photos for the item condition. This is an antique item and is not a reprint drawing!

This neat old bell measures 5 1/2" tall and is in working condition. The nickel plate is worn off of the button and the acorn shaped striker. There is some high spot wear on the base as well. Large Antique Gilded Plaster Fleur De Lys Fleur De Lis from Door 9" X 17"
For your consideration. This gorgeous, huge old Fleur De Lys is 9" wide and 17" long and about 1.25" thick. The finish is a little chipped out around the bolt hole in the middle but can be easily touched up(you'll want to gild that bolt head anyway) This has a chip on front that has been touched up with gilt that is not very noticeable, see pics. There is a hairline crack across the back at the base of the top, but this does not show in the sides or front. This piece is still very solid. This came off the panel of a door from an old Los Feliz house here in Los Angeles(I'm going to try to get more, so let me know if you are interested) I do combined shipping. Solid. Thick black slate blackboard/ chalkboard, original oak frame and custom made oak chalk ledge. Rescued 35 years ago from New York city police station that was being renovated. The chalk ledge is not as old as the blackboard. Which dates from the late 19th Century, circa 1880. In excellent, age appropriate condition, needs cleaning. This is a very heavy item, we are guessing it weighs a few hundred pounds. Total dimensions are 41 x 65 inches including the frame, which is 3" wide. The chalk ledge was made with a cut out to go around a pipe, so it has an odd shape on one end, please see the last picture. The oak ledge is approximately 4" deep and 1.5" thick, it's very nicely hand crafted from solid oak to match the frame; a beautiful job of custom carpentry. Happy to arrange for local viewing. This rare find was discovered at an estate sale in Florida. The owner had lived and owned buildings in Savannah. Georgia for many years. I am guessing this is where the downspout originated. It is iron, painted black. I have no estimation on the age, maker, etc. There is no marking or indication anywhere to tell me this. 36.5" long(bottom of mouth to top of cat tail) about 9" wide. And around 3.5" deep(to the highest point of the face. It weighs 22.8 lbs. The mouth is open. Which allowed for water to flow out, presumably from a building. The rear wheels measure about 44" and the fronts at 40" The running gear itself measures about 13ft, and the tongue adds another 11. From outside hub to outside hub it is about 73" wide. The front and rear axles separate, and the tongue comes off to make transport easier. I remember dad sanding for hours and hours before he put the verathane on the spokes. Commemorative Slate Chalkboard - old 1887 Knightstown Ind HS-Hoosiers Movie
I was so happy to find this and be able to offer it for one of you out there. Covers loads of collecting areas as well as being a very useful item for the home. Nothing makes a good blackboard like the original old antique slate used years ago in the classrooms. It will never wear out and is here for many more years of service. This is a commemorative item from Knightstown. Indiana where the movie'Hoosiers' with Gene Hackman was filmed- they used the gymnasium attached to this old school building there. The Knightstown Academy was built as a Quaker Academy in 1877 in the small town of Knightstown, Indiana. It was affiliated with the Society of Friends and located north of the National Road(US 40) The building was designed in full blown Second Empire style. It has a mansard roof and twin four story towers that are topped by a telescope ... moreand a globe. After the building ceased to be used as an academy, it functioned for many years as the local public high school. It is now an apartment building. The attached gymnasium was used as the home court of the Hickory Huskers in the 1985 movie HOOSIERS. The gymnasium is still there as well as the old building as it is a historical site. They took the old blackboards from the Academy and made them into these commemorative blackboards to earn money for the renovations. So there is the history and you can do more research on Google if you choose to under Knightstown Academy. THE SLATE USED IN THESE COMMEMORATIVE BOARDS IS FROM THE OLD ACADEMY AND MONEY RAISED WAS USED TO DEFRAY THE COST OF THE NEW SCHOOL. This chalkboard measures 18 1/2" tall and 10"wide- it is 1" deep and has a chalk ledge which makes it 2 1/2" deep at the bottom. The wood appears to be golden oak and it is a lovely warm color and is sealed. The board is fixed with some sort of adhesive and very secure. There is a brass plaque engraved as follows: KNIGHTSTOWN ACADEMY- COMMEMORATIVE BLACKBOARD- 1876- 1987. What a treasure and so handy to use with the chalk ledge. There is a round hang

The home's date of construction was circa 1820. The current owners believed this piece was once on the old barn. It was most recently used as garden decor. Measurements: The piece measures 2 feet and 8 inches tall. 2 feet and 4 inches wide. Condition: The piece is very heavy and is in good vintage condition. It is rusty in spots. Here you will find a gorgeous example of the Mid Century swag light. It is what I call' Re-Invented Vintage' Where I take an already quality vintage light fixture and recreate it into an even more dramatic working piece of art. The fixture is silver tone with three ornate filigree cylinder globes with inset clear acrylic prisms. The clear/ silver tassels are glass. The light that is dispersed is nothing short of hypnotic, and has such a glamorous effect. This light would go great with a number of styles Art Deco, Nouveau, French, Morocaan, Hollywood Regency and Victorian just to name a few.
