Unique Glass Fly Wasp Bee Catcher Trap Jar, Unusual Glass Jar for Garden/Kitchen
This is a beautiful glass jar with glass red feather top that is used to catch wasps. Bees, etc. Measures 12" tall and 7" wide. There are no cracks or chips in the jar; there are swirl marks and air bubbles in the glass. There is a very small chip on the tip of the glass feather on the right hand side and slight paint loss on the tip also. There are 3 glass legs on the bottom. Sweet liquid bait is poured in the jar and the wasp/bees fly into the jar and cannot get out. Would be a wonderful jar in the garden with flowers, great decoration in the kitchen, many many uses. Large glass fly trap measures 7 1/2" high without stopper and a little over 7" diameter. Total height with metal hanger is about 13 1/2" No chips or cracks. LARGE ANTIQUE GLASS AND WIRE WASP TRAP WITH HANGAR AND STOPPER, BEAUTIFULLY AGED
This wonderful piece from the past has a beautiful rusted patina on the metal. Measurements: 8.5 inches tall not including stopper. 6.5 inches in diameter. The stopper wiggles a little but does the job of preventing the wasp from flying out. I believe it is original as I saw other auction photos with the same stopper, but I am selling this as is.
