The kids are located on the side ... moreof the house at the end of the driveway leading to the back . It is the old banded iron done with the Spanish hearts . I did notice some slight damage to the gates on both sides there is a slight bend by the brackets and a slight bend on the left gate where it connects to the other gate . I also noticed one of the curly cues have been bent down and also the bar that goes down into the ground that keeps the gates in position from opening and closing . I try to include all details in Photos . I truly feel these gates would be worth restoring as for they are the real deal and are very heavy and still very solid and in good condition

This is a large lot of antique wrought iron fence with ornate detail. This is from the civil war era. It is in rought but restorable condition. The finials are mostly. If not all there, the fence has an overall rusty pitted patina. The iron is light gauge as was typical of the era. There are some bottom rails that are rotted and some repairable bends These are replaceable without ruining the authenticy of the design.This can be sandblasted and painted. Measures 12 feet wide(each half is 6 feet long) The tall ends are 67' tall. Measures 51' tall at the shortest section in the very center of the two gates. Conditon: The gates have been stored in an old barn for a few decades. They are dusty and dirty and ... morerusty. There is pitting but all of the metal is solid. There is one bent shaft on the top and the far right side of the right gate has a bend near the top. I have shown both of these minor flaws in close-up photos. Otherwise no other bends or problems. Antique wrought Iron Driveway Gates 11' Victorian heavy steel garden fence
Wrought Iron Driveway Gates 11' 5" outside hinge to outside hinge. Beautiful antique wrought iron driveway gates. Both sections are about 4' high at the hinge/post end and 5' 3" at the center end so if you mounted them with 12" ground clearance the center of the gates would be 6' 3" from the ground to the top of the gate where they meet in the center. The right section measures 5' 4" long while the left section measures 5' 5" long end to end not including the hinges which add another 4" each end which gives a clearance of about 11' 4" gate post to gate post. Hinges move easily. These gates are very heavy. you might want to pound the slight bend out of the left section post end 1/2" steel piece.
