This is a small leftover piece from my garden folly project.it was quite a mess on the back but if you can see past that. Then carry on reading,as it still could be of use to someone with the skill to use it. It is made of Pitch Pine and has a nice Quatrefoil design.Quite a heavy and thick chunky piece. the measurements are 14 inches in length.and 13.5 inches in width. and it is a nice chunky 2.5 inches thick there are many woodworm holes on the front.Which I have filled with wood filler,for my own purposes of moulding it.its not particularly a neat job,but for me it didnt matter what it looked like) the wood is very stable on the front.and most of the filler could be sanded back.or painted over etc. There is woodworm damage on the back and rot on the back too.And the wood is very soft and flaky in some spots. Virtually half the back has ... morealso been filled with a very hard plaster to square it up.For my use. When I first acquired this piece it was much longer.and had four complete Quatrefoils along its length.but I only needed to use one of them.see my other listings for those pieces) I was also told it had been treated but I cant say for sure if it genuinely was.so it would be in your interest to treat it.If you are thinking of using it for an inside project.or having it lying around for a while. These bricks came from an estate outside of Boston. The dimensions of the bricks are approximately 12’ x 4¼” x 2 ¼” The outside finish is a white glaze or enamel. On the back of each brick is printed“TIFFANY” with the‘N’ reversed) andthe date of manufacture. Three of the bricks are dated 6-05-02. Two of the bricks are dated 7-05-02, and one of the bricks has the date 8-05-02. The year was 1902. As you can see from the pictures. The bricks are not in perfect condition, but for something that is 111 years old, are in remarkable shape. I was told by a dealer at the estate sale that Tiffany is highly desirable. That they are used to decorate fireplaces, but they are now repurposed in other ways, and that they fetch $75 each in the condition they are in($75 x7 = $525) That seemed surprisingly high to me. Monumental 28ft tall marble carved cathedral piece
This massive marble piece was purchased by my husband over ten years ago. It has 4 different carved angels that stand over 8ft. tall each. They each have a unique bird or animal at their feet. There is mosaic inlay on each angel. The column capitals alone are over 3ft. across. They top massive veined marble columns that also rest on a marble base with mosaic accents. We intended to build the columns into a structure. And use the angels in the interior of our home as entrance divides. The material that is carved on the angels seems to be of a softer limestone material than the hard marble of the rest of the piece. There are panels that are mosaic work that formed a dome. The entire structure is dismantled and packed onto pallets and stored. My husband paid a healthy sum for this remarkable work of art. This listing price is a fraction of its ... moreoriginal cost. Antique Cast Iron Snowbird Eagle Patent Date Unique
Here is an old cast iron snowbird in the form of an eagle. There is a patent date on the back. It reads July 24 and the year, which I can't make out, maybe 1909? It stands 5 inches high. It has a defect from when it was poured, the metal did not form fully on the wing leaving a hole. This is the same as the other four listed. This one being unique with the factory error. 2 Antique Japanese Wooden Shutters Panels Doors Screens with Painted Panels
Two Antique Japanese Shutters/ Panels These shutters were part of some local Austin Estate items. Dark wood with some carved details and painted panels in the center. The lower panels have also have some drawings. A dragon on one and a horse on the other Each panel measures 39" tall x 13-3/4" wide x 1" thick Condition: These are very old. But very stable. Not wobbly or falling apart. They do have quite a bit of patina from age. There are signs of normal use and wear. They each have wooden pegs at the top and bottom that were probably what held them in place and allowed them to be opened or move. These pegs could easly be removed if you did not want them They each have a painting in the center panel The paintings each depict a woman and small child. They are outdoor scenes with foliage and one has a umbrella or canopy over her ... morehead. The center panel painting have some scratches. The panel on the left has only a very few scratches. The panel on the right(see closeup pictures) has more scratches. I don't know if the scratches were from normal use or if someone. Maybe a child scratched them. The scratches are just on the surface, they are not deep. The paintings are kind of muted so from a distance the scratches are not a big problem. I think it would be simple to touch them up, but I will leave that for the buyer to decide. Or, if you like the center panels could be removed by pulling a few nails and replaced with another image. I really like them as they are. Each of the panels has an old white sticker on the backside with a number. One of the panels has a sticker on the side that reads'Customs Permission' This item is from a non-smoking. Pet-free environment. The item was bought by my parent and and always described as an early 18c or earlier carving of a shop counter or shop interior decor in Sicily Italy. Built around 1880-1890 this building is in good condition and can be relocated. The building is approximately 12'W X 20'L X 14'H. It is two rooms with two doors on the front. The door on the back is gone. The interior wall is tongue in groove with a door in the middle. The interior lumber is in GREAT condition. Some of the exterior wood is in poorer condition mostly at the back of the building and some around bottom edge but again the interior wood is in great condition. The roof and floors are in good condition with the exception of one area at the back. Affecting about 2 feet of board where the door is gone. It sets on old conglomerate concrete blocks. Antique Vintage 'ARCO' Radiator Wall Hung Cast Iron Hot Water Radiator 29X14
Here is a nice. Relatively compact cast iron hot water radiator that was removed from a home that dated from the 1920's; it was removed from a powder room. This is cast as one piece and is not sectional. There were no mounting brackets with it since they apparently used the plumbing pipes to support it. This has been pressure tested and shows no sign of leakage. This is an American Radiator aka'ARCO' Peerless' model. These were designed to be joined up with other'Peerless' units of the same size for more heating capability. According to the catalog. This should be adequate to heat an 8 to 10-foot square space. It has some flaky/loose paint(see pics) and the backside seems to have the original coat of paint on it. The bleeder is included. Though it will most likely need replacing. Unusual antique cast iron wood duck lawn sprinkler--1930's---14348
If you are a collector of antique cast iron lawn sprinklers. You know that this sprinkler is rather rare. An upright wood duck figural sprinkler, circa 1930s. I believe this heavy cast iron piece is all original including the brass sprinkler head. Measures approximately 13.5 inches in height. Some original paint remains but most is gone-condition of the piece is very good with a nice even patina. Original embossed manufacturer's mark present but I do not know what it is. i don't know what these came off of because i bought them at an estate sale who had quite a collection of odd items from years of collecting. this is a lot of 5 bobeche type pieces with 3 leaf tips. they are 4 1/4 in. wide and they have a 1 1/2 in. wide candle area. it looks like brass. they look like they were salvaged from something else because some spots are smooth. needs cleaning. i use a magnet to test it and it doesn't stick to it. so you decide from the pictures. view my other pieces like this listed. can combine shipping.

The board is sturdily made from solid oak with a board backing. The numbers slide in from the side of the board and it comes with 11 numbers though more could easily be made. There are just a few old woodworm holes to the backing board which I have treated just in case. There is an old plaque to the base of the back which reads: Lower Froyle Hampshire Wesleyan Methodist Church- To the glory of God and to remember the faithful ones who have loved him in this place of worship- Sing unto the Lord- E. Storey London December 1949' The board stands 36 inches tall and 14 inches wide. The Froyle Wesleyan Chapel was built in 1862 but due to dwindling numbers. Closed in 1998.
