Available here is an antique wall panel made of an exotic cut of mahogany or possibly rosewood. This is SOLID wood. Not veneer! This kind of thing is just not available anymore. This listing is for one panel. Although we have five of these available and would welcome making a deal for all. We also have nine accent panels that are approximately 12" x 66" if a buyer is interested in them all. These would be perfect wall panels for a library. Study or bar. The size is about 28" by 66" from molding to molding. That does not include the support pieces which are outside of the molding. I don't believe the framing wood to be mahogany/rosewood. However the wood within the molding is quite exotic. The panel can stand up as pictured. Or be laid on its side to cover more area on a wall. The Size is Approximately 8 1/2" Tall Excluding the wood pegs on end. Round Part is about 5 1/4" straight Across each one and the small square part is about 2 1/2" on each side. Old finish and condition, came from an old estate this week, both are self framed, fixed for hanging and carved by master carver, these are really great, the fruit and nut carvings are very 3 dimensional and very deep, no chips, breaks or pieces missing, finish has some dull or discolored areas around carvings(see close photos) back of 1 panel has a thin square glue block for some reason. This auction is for both items combined for one price. Each piece is 19" long for a total length of 38" Thickness is 3/4" There is a raised piece that runs above the zigzag pattern and the thickness of that piece and the main piece combined is 1 1/4" Eastlake design. This piece has been stripped of most of it's original finish. Nice carved detail. Missing pieces to build or rebuild or create something new. Not sure what the wood is. I believe the carving is hand done as it does not line up perfectly-see photo-the pieces are the same but not identical. Antique salvaged pieces.

An oak pair of.detail pieces is what I am listing. They were part of a table that an older feller had stuffed in his barn and used for who know what. It was a horrid brown poopy color. And cream. And red, and another brown.and you get where I am going. There is still some paint in the crevices where the embellishments are placed. The details are added and not part of the larger wood. The oak is quarter sawn so it has that amazing tiger oak look. The measurements are without the pegs since they all aren't there. OLD VTG ANTIQUE WOOD ORIGINAL ORNATE ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE CHURCH DOOR ENTRYWAY
You are looking at old architectural salvage church doorway. This item went through a fire and there is some char damage on the back that is pictured. The back of the doors do show melted paint but are very solid and useable. The crack in the top right side is just patched with plywood in the back. This was done to prevent collapse when it was salvaged. The crack can be joined back together. All the door hardware is present. This item measures 102" H x 100" w x 8" D on top, and 2 1/2" D on the bottom. The doors measure 82"H x 32 5/8"w x 1 3/4" D. Please look close and ask questions before bidding. This is one of two very old ornate wood panel doors with folding privacy screens. After much debate. We determined that they were originally part of a church, perhaps modesty doors on a confessional. This is just our opinion since we have never come across something this unique. Hand carved oak leafs. Only the front is carved. Back is flush. Pegged tenons& ship lap joints leads us to believe the doors are 19th century or even earlier. They are solid and fairly heavy. Given the age. They do have several conditional issues and we'll let the photos address these issues. I consider all the issues expected honest wear. This door has a crack which is displayed in a close up photo. 8 Salvage Wood Pieces/ Chippy Paint - Architectural - 1890 ship lap/ Heart Pine
These eight salvaged wood pieces came from a 1890's Florida"Cracker-style" house whose interior walls were covered in painted shiplap made from heart pine boards. Here are six small salvaged boards from a mint green room in that home. Each piece measures 12" with 9.5" painted in the mint green. This is caused by the ends of the boards laying under door and window casings. Each piece is 3.25" wide. The pieces do lap together to make one large area. But these boards are old and some of the grooves are splintered. The fronts of the boards look fine, but some edges may be damaged. Heart pine was used extensively in Florida construction at the turn of the century. It smells wonderful and lasts forever. These salvaged pieces would be great for short peg shelves for jewelry etc. or for vintage signs or small craft projects. ... morethe last photo shows what these would look like as a peg shelf. Solid Wood Decorative Trim Molding Lot of 4 Pieces - Neat Architectural Salvage!
Up for sale is a great lot of 4 vintage pieces of wood decorative trim or molding. I'm not exactly sure what this was used for. But it was salvaged from an old estate in the Cincinnati area. It is solid wood with what appears to be some sort of lacquer on it. The motif looks floral, perhaps a tulip? In terms of condition. I would consider these to be good to very good. A few pieces have some minor cracking, but nothing that goes all the way through or causes them to be falling apart. Each piece is numbered on the back. And these 4 go in order, so they are fairly evenly matched. Each piece is roughly 6.5 inches long. 2.5 inches tall, and 0.75 inches deep at the base. Antique Architectural Salvage Hand Carved Wood Griffin Or Lion With Wings
This is a very cool looking antique architectural salvage handcarved wood Griffin or a lion with wings. It probably dates from the very late 19th to very early 20th century. It measures 10 inches tall(25.4 cm) It is 7 1/2 inches deep(19 cm) At the bottom in the front at the scroll it is 3 inches wide. But most of it is 2 inches wide(7.6 cm, 5.1 cm) I have a strong feeling this was from the front of the arm of an armchair. If you look at the bottom. You will see that one side has a strip of wood attached, whereas the other side doesn't. In the back of his head it looks as if there was another piece there which is missing(please see photos) It's developed a great old brown patina to it. It weighs just under 1 lb. 3 oz. 530 g)

They were originally part of a set of doors that were beyond repair so we removed the decorative elements. There are several quatrafoil panels. We also have moldings that form a Gothic arcade. The squares are 7.75 inches square. It is approx 9 feet of Gothic arches by 7.5 feet tall. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are some missing moldings and various breaks. The Gothic arches are molding pieces without any backing boards. Architectural Salvage-Piece of Carved Wood Door Frame-maybe from Bath, England
I purchased at an estate sale. It had the tag on it when I purchased it. I have no idea if the representations are true. Or partially true. I certainly know the 14c and 1800's are two different time periods. Has a very nice patina. The wood is certainly petrified like, and I love the worm or termite holes. It has a gold teeth like hanger on the back and was previously hung vertically with rubber pads at the other end to prevent it rubbing off on the wall. The hangar portion is at the rough end of the piece. Overall, it is 17 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide. It is 1 3/4 inches deep. Happy to answer specific questions.

Half woman and bird) Architectural piece, beautifully carved mystical figure with rosettes on both sides. Clawed hairy feet, and serpent-like tail. The wood is mahogany, dark with a rich patina. From a home from the early 1900's. We are offering a pair of tapered exterior wood columns. Each measures 5' 6-1/2" which includes the square cap width is 7" across the bottom, 6" at the top. Wood Walnut (?) Architectural Salvage Element Plaque Emblem Domestic Sewing?
What a Great& Unique Piece! I'm not exactly sure what this was originally on- it may have been a sewing machine but I'm just not sure. It appears to be walnut wood but the best part is the framed interior"domestic" emblem. It has beautiful embellishments and rosettes that are absolutely stunning. Measures approximately 10" x 16" The small molding piece on the lower right is missing and there is some minor lifting of the veneer on the upper left. Some scratches and wear are also evident so please inspect photos closely. Thanks for looking! Items come from a smoke free home although some items may have once lived in a smoking environment.
