Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia. PA Home. It is made of all cast iron with an ornate design. There is chippy black paint with light surface rust. It was originally to cover and protect a basement window. It measures 27 inches wide by 23 inches tall. Overall. It is good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. Wrought iron railing! We can't sell you the Brooklyn bridge. But we can at least sell you the fence from it.or at least the fence that is just like the stuff on the Brooklyn Bridge ramp! This is unusual wrought iron stair railing. It is from the late 1800's. It is made up of heavy round stock and unusual ornate castings on each end(top and bottom) some sections have very pointing spikes on the top. Black wrought iron antique Victorian style window guards or gates You are invited to bid on two lovely antique style iron window gates or guards. Please note that these are two of the same gates. They both swing from the left side. They could be used as a pair by removing the flower medallion and replacing it on the outside of the gate. I believe welding would be necessary to do that. They are in very good condition. I don't believe they have been used. I did notice that one gate has two minor welds which are lose but nothing in danger of falling apart.
