This is a more desirable wrought iron piece then the later cast iron. I believe this is a window guard rail. But it might have been a part of a balcony or porch rail or even a fence. Antique Danish wrought iron panel made by unknown blacksmith
$0 years ago and a trip to Kobenhavn. This what I found. Quite nice I think-I have always hung it on a wall. The amount of rust is almost the same as it was when I bought it. It is starting to flake a little bit now. It is not very heavy so it is pretty safe to hang even with kids around. It is also Romantic with each end having a heart shape. Since it has such a simple and classy design it will fit into any decor particularly modern. That is not common for a true antique.
