Unique artistic brackets that came out of an old hotel in Los Angeles. At least 60 years old. The bracket Celtic like design measures 2"x 2" and is on both sides. Overall they measure 2 3/4"x 2" The holding space is 1/4" There is one attaching screw and two screws that attaches both sides together. They are cast solid brass and weigh 3/4 lb each. LARGE HEAVY ANTIQUE IRON HINGES FROM 1910 SAN FRANCISCO BLDG; SET OF 3 in good working order. 2 large hinges are 8" long by 1 5/8" in height. 1 small hinge is 3" long by 1" high. These are most likely original to this San Francisco Edwardian family building. My father kept these, they could have been barn door hinges from that building or another house or building in the San Francisco area as our SF family home around the same age had barn doors later replaced with garage door. This is likely historic SF hardware from the Turn of the Century around the time of the 1906 quake. As is. Returns for defective, returns not accepted for buyers remorse. Antique Insulator Double Bracket Upcycle Architectural Salvage Chippy White Chic
This old bracket with glass insulators displays it's age with chippy white paint. Tarnished patina, and some surface rust. The two Hemingway-12 insulators unscrew from the metal bracket. The bracket has no markings as far as I could see, but could be covered by paint. The glass insulators have imperfections and white paint on them. One has a small chip(as seen in second to last photo) This salvaged piece has a lot of upcycle potential as a simple hanger, industrial vintage lighting, etc. It measures approximately 14" long. Antique LOUDENS HAY TROLLEY vintage barn carrier farm - pat. 1894 - EXC. COND.
For your consideration is this antique cast-iron Loudens hay trolley. It is complete with no broken. Cracked, or welded parts. It came out of an Iowa barn that, unfortunately was recently razed to make room for a subdivision. All of its wheels turn freely, as does the mechanism, with the exception of one of the hook-shaped internal parts- I'm not sure if it is supposed to pivot or not, but a matching hook on the opposite of the mechanism does pivot. In addition to the Loudens name, the following is also cast into the iron on both sides of the trolley: PATD FEBY 20TH 1894. Also, the number 155 is in the casting between the patent information- perhaps that is the model number. Both sides of the trolley are shown in the first two photos. I also took photos from all angles to give you a good look at the excellent condition of this trolley. ... moreIt does have a coating of rust- you could sand-blast that off and repaint the trolley, but I left its nice patina intact in case that's the look you're after. The trolley weighs 17 pounds and measures 13.5" long at its longest point(between the largest wheels) and 8.5" tall and 5" wide. Guaranteed to be old, original and authentic. This is a pair of vintage cast iron hinges.Pivots,or swivel recently acquired at an estate sale.They are in wonderfully rusty vintage condition but they function smoothly.I don't know the manufacturer but the fronts are marked with an M3 mark on the pivot plate and M4 on each of the arms.There is an X stamped on the back of each arm below the rivets.They are 12 1/2" long when fully extended and 1 3/4" wide at the widest point.The arms have interlocking cogs,like a gear,and swivel on the rivets centered in the cogs.These unique pieces could be good for use in a rustic decor,steampunk project,or addition to a collection.Thank you for looking.
