Up for sale is this antique French Louis wood parquetry ice chest. It comes from a weathy Conn estate and is a wonderful piece. The hand jointed veneers are outsatnding and in very good condition. There are 2 original brass(missing 2 small screws) handles that lift the top which leads to a metal ice tray/planter. The top is accented in a reticulated brass edge as well as the base top. There are brass ormulus at the feet. At the sides there is a wonderful carving accent. It is in overall very good condition. There are some areas where the detailed wood edges need to be clued as seen in the picture. It measures 26" x 16" x 31" The cooler measures 22" x 12" Thanks for looking!
