Fully covered bolster style arms with unusual flamed mahogany arm supports, a wide flamed mahogany seat-rail with u shaped front legs with raised panels of flamed mahogany. The beautiful cranberry damask fabric appears to have been recently applied and is in excellent condition with no issues we can find. This mid 19th century sofa measures 30 inches in height from the floor to the top of the center back.Total length arm to arm measures 85 3/4 inches, seat width measures 71 inches, seat depth is 18 1/2, total depth from front to back measures 22 3/4 inches and seat height from the floor to the top of the seat measures 17 inches and this sofa weighs ... moreapproximately 125 lbs. This is a charming 19 th century flame mahogany veneered miniature American Empire chest of drawers. It measures 12 ¼” wide x 7” deep x 12” tall. It has tiny inlaid wood patterns at the top of each side to replicate carved wood. It even has a small brass lock that appears to be a working lock. Though there’s no key to test it. I imagine this miniature chest was built as a salesman’s sample or an apprentice piece. Please see all photos to get a full sense of the condition of this chest. The finish on the right side is crackling and rough and has splits in wood. There’s a split around a knot of the left side of the chest. The top has a thin split and a knot in the wood. There are splits in the inner drawers and some wood loss on the back of the chest. Despite it all.
