There is some wear and small chips but the worst is the curl on the left end is missing(see last picture) The crest is about 9" long and 3 1/2" tall. The piece is about 2" wide. These nice looking pieces were part of the lobby from a Boston Building built in the 1920's that was renovated and was not longer needed. Building was in the neoclassical style. If your into vintage architectural pieces this is for you. Brass was big in the 20s and 30s for decorating a lobby in a building or use on the outside because of its cheap price. There is some paint chipping and great old paint crackle. On the right top edge there is a saw mark and the old pine wood has a very slight bow. Looks like there was a small piece on the bottom of the Bulls Eye that has been glued back in place. Bulls Eye also has a crack coming off the small nick on right side. Please refer to the pictures. I took close ups of the flaws. They are minor and are barely noticeable. The design is really nice with a bulls eye center and scalloped edge on top. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of oak and is currently painted. It was originally the crown to a built in armoire. There is a small shelf at the top that is trimmed in reel and bead molding. The breast has applied carved festoons with flowers. It measures 67.75 inches wide by 8.75 inches tall and is 3.25 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a couple light cracks. The right side return molding is missing. There is some wood loss at the bottom. Please look at the pictures carefully.
