Vtg~Large~Hand Carved Maple Leaf Wood Grape Window Panel Black Forest pediment
This week we have this gorgeous Antique/Vintage wall or Window panel. This piece is intricatly hand carved in a leaf and honeycomb motif. It is also hand painted. I am not sure what this originaly was from but there are three pieces of metal(brass. I believe) hardware fittings on the back three corners of the piece. I do not think it was a door but it could have been a fixed piece some how. It is a very heavy piece made out of solid hardwood. I think it may be teak or walnut. It is in excellent condition and measures 22" x 31" and is 3/4" thick.
