Each of these 1880s solid yellow pine corner blocks for trimming doorways and window openings measures 1 ¼” thick x 5 3/8” square and has untouched. Old dry surface. The milled/reeded cross design in each block has been accented in black paint for ebonized effect and each shows some dirt, wear and scratching to the old varnish. 2 blocks have surface chips and some have smears of wall paint on the edges. Wonderful matte finish with a few scratches. Pediment is perfect to hang over doors. Pictures, as statement piece or an enhancement to other furniture. Great condition for it's age but there are some minor imperfections. Crack on center block goes all the way through to the back so it wobbles a little side to side.
