Description This is an antique carved wood- I think it is oak- pediment. It measures 52-1/2" long by 14" high and 3" deep. It has its original beveled mirror in the center. It is in good condition- nice carvings- there is one corner- lower right where there is a piece of wood missing. I have shown that in last photo with green box around it. Mirror has some loss of silver. There is a wire on the back to hang it. Great decorative piece to hang alone or part of wall grouping or use over door or window. Email wiht questions. Antique Victorian Cast Iron Pediment, Urn With 2 Birds
This is a Gorgeous Antique Cast Iron Pediment. Pediment is approximatyely 24 1/2" wide x 9 1/2" tall. Pediment is white and has a large urn in the center and a bird facing the urn on both sides. Pediment has weight to it because it is cast iron. It has a white finish on it but you can see rust in about 4 areas and some coloring showing through the finish in various places. I love these old pediments. They are great to prop up on a mantel or dresser or sometimes even in your kitchen on the counter or behind your sink. It is really a lovely old pediment. Genuine. Circa 1870s, furniture header. Unusual alternating dark/lighter stain across the top. Inscribed Eastlake carving with cannonbal finials on top. 8 turned spindles with pyramid medallion in middle. Bevelled trim above and below spindles. Very nice overall condition. Here for your consideration are two pieces of old molding from the outside of an old house. This was one piece that has been cut. The top crown pieces are all peg fitted and some come out easily. One piece measures 38" and the other is 25" long about 5" although it is not evenly made and some parts are split off(see pictures) the crowns on the top measure about 2.5x3" This is as found with weathered chipped up wood.

These are rarely offered on Ebay. I believe these are from the Victorian Gilded Age. They would have probably been used as a Cornice box for curtains. 2 antique carved headers. Great accent pieces straight from the Victorian era. One looks like oak. The other may be mahogany, but not certain. Top one has a raised beveled cornice across the top and nice fluted center carving. Other one has recessed panels left and right with leafy carving on a textured background. Gorgeous Victorian Eastlake Walnut Pediment. Beautiful block carvings on top with floral cut out designs near bottom. Grand old pediment from the turn of the century. Wonderful matte finish with a few scratches. Pediment is perfect to hang over doors. Pictures, as statement piece or an enhancement to other furniture. Great condition for it's age but there are some minor imperfections. Crack on center block goes all the way through to the back so it wobbles a little side to side. It is still structurally sound and attached to the bottom pediment. The new owners can decide whether to glue it or leave it in the original condition. Vintage 1920's Brass Architectural Salvage Pediment / Wall Pc Boston Building #2
Up for your consideration are two beautiful looking vintage Brass Architectural pediment/ wall pieces. These nice looking pieces were part of the lobby from a Boston Building built in the 1920's that was renovated and was not longer needed. Building was in the neoclassical style. If your into vintage architectural pieces this is for you. Brass was big in the 20s and 30s for decorating a lobby in a building or use on the outside because of its cheap price. Today the cost would be to great to use this metal. Both are made of solid brass. They measure about 19 7/8" wide. 2 7/8" wide and 3/8" thick. Total weight is about 7 pounds. Older piecee that does not need a cleaning. Nice older brass patina on them.
