Up for bid is this stunning quartersawn oak mantel shelf or mantel top from. I believe an overmantel. The piece is approximately 5 2-3/4" in length or width x 10" deep x 5" high. Hollowed o ut or opened in the back makes for some nice hidden storage. Beautiful quartersawn oak grain patterns set this gem off like no other and will grace any room it's used in. Pair it up with a few columns of the same wood and grain patterns and make it back into a mantel. Leave it as is. Other than cleaning it up, add a few hidden hangers and you'll have a very nice shelf as well as a hidden compartment piece to add to any room. Pair Ornate Victorian Antique Shelf Brackets 6" x 6" D
Pair of antique Victorian era(late 1800s) cast iron shelf brackets. The brackets have an ornate ornamental geometric pattern. They measure approx 6 1/8 x 6 3/8 inches and are 1/2 inch thick. Photos are shown of both sides as well as a close up view. The brackets have been restored and are in excellent condition. But still have a few dings as normally seen on items of this age. Additionally, one bracket has 1/4 inch of the end one side broken off, but there is still enough of the screw hole left to firmally attach it to the shelf or wall.

It measures 28.25 wide. 14.5 inches tall and is 5.75 inches thick at the top molding. Overall it is in very good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. Description This is a nice pediment that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally a part to a built in closet. It is made of oak and is painted. It has great Eastlake Spoon Carvings. Ornate brackets, corbels and moldings. The label in the back says Made by Kammerer on Germantown Ave. Philadelphia. PA June 1893. It measures 46.25 inches wide and 17.25 inches tall and is 3.5 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. This is a simple and delightful antique pediment that is 38.5" long and 2.5" wide at the center. Beautiful vintage condition with great patina and natural golden oak color. Comes right off my wall. Great finish; just hang and put in place; no work involved. Love the charming upturned curved ends. Works well in an area, like over a window, where there isn't much clearance.
