Nice gingerbread design- there is one piece of scroll work missing- it is hard to notice it- I bought this years ago& used it as a decor piece- it has a wire on the back for hanging- not heavy- Solid When I bought it. It had a recent white paint covering. Measures 86.5" long is 41" at peak- it measures 1 5/16" thick. Measures 12/12 on the pitch(90 degree angle) Wonderful size for headboard- over a door way or mantle- could also be re-used for a functional purpose to dress up a home or barn! VERY PRETTY victorian gable pediment. This is one of the more ornate pieces of gingerbread gable design I've had the pleasure of owning. I bought this years ago& used it as a decor piece- not too heavy- Solid Has old crusty. Flaking white paint. I did spray this with two coats of flat rustoleum lacquer years ago to stabilize the paint surface. Measures 123" long is 27.25" at peak- it measures 1.75" thick. I had this hanging in a vaulted ceiling with a similar but not identical pitch- enjoyed this piece- looking to pass it on for someone else to own! OMG! Check listings- I am selling another one at the same time- identical for those looking for TWO pediments. 40 inches wide- 15 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches deep! It appears to be Victorian era- applied wood design on heavy solid wood base. Is in remarkable condition- no major cracks- a vertical crack in applied wood swirl- 1/2 inch thick. Would be amazing inside over a doorway. Fireplace or just on a wall as a décor piece- can also be used outside as originally intended. No dry rot or problems. Finding two the same is next to impossible!
