Solid Has old crackled white paint- with some traces of green coming through. I covered this piece with a layer of flat rustoleum lacquer to retain the surface color& halt the paint from flaking off. I was fortunate enough to buy this piece sight unseen- I was more than pleased when I picked it up. This pediment was over the door way of a circa 1886 home in Western NY- an absolutely amazing piece of architectural detail. Has the very best crackled white finish. Great gingerbread design- delicate cutout pattern. Small minor loss(see center of panel) Measures 84" wide(79 just the panel. Some siding still on ends) and is 30" tall x 2.25" thick, Would look awesome as a head board. Island front- the possibilities are endless with this gem. The dimensions are 85" x 42" tall x 1 3/4" This is a great looking very ornate complete gable fretwork/ gingerbread with a very nice sunburst. Rosettes and very nice eastlake style details throughout. This is a very rare large piece and has an aged dark grey/ white painted finish with an absolutely beautiful patina! This would be excellent for use as-is. A re-purpose as a decorative wall hanging or whatever else you might think up! It is in Great condition with a beautiful old patina and is ready for display. And the smaller three pieces are 31"31"29" One of the 31" pieces has a small chip out of the edge( see photos) this is the only damage. They are in wonderful shape.
