Description This is nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally part of a built in closet front. It is made of oak. Has been painted and the stripped to bare wood. The top has a nice carved sunburst. There are corbels and nicely carved moldings. It measures 28.25 wide. 14.5 inches tall and is 5.75 inches thick at the top molding. Overall it is in very good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. This crown panel has combined the joinery of curved onlay molding with delicate carving to produce a graceful pediment. Pediments like this often were found at the top of late Victorian hall stands and mirrors. Fantastic Classical Broken Arch Pediment As Found Salvage Overdoor
Some designs are eternal and the Chippendale period broken arch is one of them. The layered molding and raised panel appears to be hand formed in a manner of days of old. There are some minor chips and the finish appears to be original but the overall decorative effect is still intact. Up for your consideration is a beautiful looking vintage Brass Architectural pediment/ wall plate piece. This nice looking piece was part of the lobby from a Boston Building built in the 1920's that was renovated and was not longer needed. If your into vintage architectural pieces this is for you. Please look at all the pictures to see the detail work. Made of solid brass and is one piece. Measures 20 5/8" wide and 2 7/8" tall. 1/8" thick. This is not a cheap thin piece. Weighs 4 1/4 pounds. Nice looking plate with a raised design on it. It does have four holes on the corners for mounting if needed and the screws are included. Antique Primitive Carved Wood Architectural Salvage Pediment 3 Misc. pieces
Three unique vintage architectural salvage wood pieces. All are in very good vintage condition. Will need some cleaning, I will leave that up to their new owner, I don't know enough about old wood to clean it for fear or damaging it. First there is a nice hand carved pediment that measures 18 in. across X 5 in. at the tallest place and 3/4 in. in depth. Next is a unique fan shaped piece with some carving on it, the measurements are 10 in. from point to top X 8 in. at it's widest points and 1 in. at it's deepest depth. Last is a very detail carved rosette, some chipping on 2 of the petals(see pictures) there is a hole drilled in the middle. Overall very nice pieces. Thank you for looking.

This piece measures: 69" long x 35 1/2 to top peak and each side measures 50" long. For sale I have a nice piece of antique architectural salvage from an old farm house. As you can see from the measurements this piece is quite large. I wish I had wall space to keep this beauty. The patina is an aged dark wood tone worn look. Some pieces from the front are missing from the design. This piece was once at the top peak of the house. Weight about 25 pounds. This piece had to be cut down due to lots of damage. I have trimmed up the edges and glued some of the boards down. Some of the boards are a little loose. But if this piece is hung on a wall it is fine. Antique 19c. Pediment Architectural Crown Walnut Wood Crest Salvage Cottage Chic
For auction. A 19th-century solid walnut pediment with deeply carved motif. It measures 19 1/2" across the base and about 9 1/2" wide(5 1/4" wide at center. The width is 3" across the top and 1" at the sides. This architectural salvage piece is covered with classical acanthus scrolls and a flower in the center. The wood finish does show lots of wear and there is an old repair on the leaf to the right of the flower, shown best in photo 3. Antique Architectural Salvage Pediment Hand Carved and Inlaid Floral Design
Description: Here is a gorgeous pediment that came from the estate of a well-to-do Hartford CT woman who loved to collect beautiful items. This item came from an upstairs storage closet with other antiques and architectural elements that the woman had bought in 1983 when she was planning on building a summer house on Long Island Sound. The invoice showed that she paid $450 for it over 30 years ago. Supposedly it had been carved and inlaid by a well known Connecticut carver but her niece could not remember who for sure. It appears to be carved from two layers of solid mahogany and then two pieces at either end appear to have been nicely inlaid with boxwood in a floral pattern. The carvings are deep and wonderfully done and you can even still see the chisel marks on the top edge which would not have been seen. There are all the usual marks. ... moreNicks and stuff you would expect to see on a piece of this age as well as a nibble from each end of the bottom. The color and glow of the patina is just first rate as you can tell from looking at my photos. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Pittsburgh Victorian Home. It is made of oak and is painted. It was originally part of a built in armoire. There is a shelf at the top with a crown molding below. The breast has nice carved festoons. It is 73 inches long. 12 tall and is 4.5 inches deep. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. The shelf along the top does not sit flush on the wall. Beautiful Oak Pediment with carved leaves and burl embellishments. Also Eastlake spoon type carving on the ends that also have a hint of the Art Nouveau look! There is a arch in the middle that shows that it is attached with dowels. Not nails. Also the top(or could be the bottom if you like) has a ledge that is 1 5/8" wide. Early 1900's walnut pediment. From the top of a mirror. Or bed, possibly from over a door or window. Solid walnut. And walnut burl. 51" long 18" height 2" cove moulding extends out from wall: 6" Beautiful ogee cove moulding. Separate key centerpiece with carved detailing. The bottom is flat. Has no wooden pegs or holes. Will not stand on its own. It is top heavy from the centerpiece that extends outward. Condition consistent with age.
