I'found' this in my barn- hanging in the rafters were I was placing gable ... morepediments. I thought for the longest time I had this piece listed- but alas it was not. I bought this piece about 5 or 6 years ago. Has a great checkered design in the triangle pediment area- the green paint is creak. Nice crackled finish. The top of the peak is unpainted- it must have been covered as the green paint was NEVER applied to the piece. The bottom edge needs to be trimmed- it has some soft spots on it- I tried to capture this in the pictures. I would estimate about 1 to 1.5" needs to be trimmed on the bottom edge for a smooth. Even edge. Measures 108.5" long is 39" at peak& 8.5" deep. Old square nails are studding the backside also. Has metal flashing on top edge. Wonderful size for headboard- over a door way or mantle- could also be re-used for a functional purpose to dress up a home or barn! Will need to send with our delivery service- $200-300.
