It has a couple of small holes above the bevel glass mirror on the right-hand side of the wood. I would guess it had a shelf there, but it doesn’t take away from the beauty of this antique sideboard. We used to get these all the time and they used to sell for thousands, but you can’t find them often anymore. Someone hung a mirror on the inside of the top section of the back which covered up the tiger sawn oak panel.

The support columns are really nice turned columns with lots of detail and turnings. The very top is an Art Nouveau style crest. This sideboard will break down into five pieces.the base.
