The metal hooks(shown pictured in the drawer) are to hold the mattress. All the drawers have dove tails. All drawers move freely. The tall dresser has 3 drawers. The top drawer is decorative. I believe all the hardware is original. It is matching and in great condition. Babys Room: The vanity could be used as a changing table if you take the mirror off. It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

The ... moreset is crafted from an unusual color of wood, which I think might be Pecan as it is lighter in color than most other woods and has a fine grain, somewhat similar to Walnut. The dresser has 8 full size drawers and three smaller drawers on the top. The middle drawer has only a key hole to open it while the others have matching drawer pulls. The drawers all feature dovetailed woodworking. The chest of drawers has 6 full size drawers with the top drawer featuring a lock(the key is included and taped inside of the top drawer and visible in one of the pictures) I'm uncertain if the one key works on both locks but I think they would as the key isn't a complicated design. Both pieces of furniture have glass tops that are in good shape. Both pieces feature designs created on the top by using different colored woods and grain patterns, giving a nice break from the solid color that the main furniture body has. The dresser's top left drawer features the Baker metal logo plaque on the inside. The furniture is in very nice shape but there are a few scratches and scuffs that need pointed out. There is a small square piece of veneer(about 1 inch square) that is missing along the bottom edge of the dresser, a little to the right of center. There are also a deeper scratch on the bottom right leg of the dresser and bottom left leg of the chest of drawers. These are shown in the photos. The furniture would benefit from a good cleaning and possible waxing.I'm not certain what type of cleaning or maintenance would be appropriate. Please look carefully at the photos to get a better idea of the true condition this nice old set is still in.I would guess this dates back to the 60s or early 70s. This is an Antique Hard Wood& Paneling. Dresser with Tabletop Vanity Mirror that Swivels, 70 inches tall. Made in USA. Has 6 dovetail drawers without the key to the locks. Top drawers have original porcelain knobs. The other drawer pulls are newer reproductions. Some of the dovetail corners were glued and set with masking tape(old repair holding fine) Mirror frame has a small crack in the back that doesn't show from the front. Should be an easy repair. Siverback mirror was very blotchy and replaced with a new mirror. Dresser sides are constructed with wood panels and have some general wear. Finish is still smooth. Wheels are original wood caster and working. Back was left untouched with remnants of the original white wash paint. Estimate age is 1920's- 30's. This is a four drawer dresser with an attached mirror and two handkerchief drawers(these are not attached to the top of the dresser) All of the hardware is original and the drawers are dovetailed. It also includes the original casters which can be used with the dresser or not. The mirror tilts and all of the drawers have locks on them. The carvings on the drawers and the base of the mirror are the"spoon" carvings typical of the Eastlake style of furniture. This piece is in excellent condition.

2 Antique Miniature Salesman Sample Dresser Chest Drawers Vanity Doll Furniture?
Up for auction are 2 Antique Miniature Dresser. With pull out drawers and mirrors. Very solidly made! I am not quite sure as to the exact origin of these piece as if it was manufactured as a piece of doll furniture or if it was to be presented as a salesman sample. I think that they where saleman samplers, because the estate sale I purchased them at there was no kids toys or kids item sold at the sale. The larger dresser measures approximately 9 3/4" tall x 6 3/4" wide x 4 3/8" deep. It is solidly constructed of a fine hardwood( looks like oak wood to me) It features a mirror, but over many years, it lossing most of it refecting material around its edges(see pictures) it features 2 pull out drawers, but the one drawer is missing 2 of it wooden knob drawer pulls( see picture) The smaller dresser measures approximately 7" ... moretall x 6 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" deep. It is also solidly constructed of a fine hardwood( that also looks like oak wood to me) It features asmaller mirror, but over many years, it lost some of it refecting material in the bottom middle area(see pictures) it features 2 pull out drawers and has all of its drawers pulles. Both are in nice condition for its age. It does exhibit some loss/ wear to their mirrors and mising 2 drawers pulls, plus a few very small specks of white paint, that are not real noticeable. A couple very neat old pieces, these dresser would look amazing in any collection or doll house. absolutely fabulous old old old dresser with original hanging mirror! original design elements on dresser backsplash/ drawer corners and around knobs on top drawers So Cute! I changed out the original wooden knobs on the top drawers to a vintage blue milk glass ~ love the contrast the dresser had been painted all of these colors you see but I don't think they were consistent layers I sanded back most of the outer layer to expose a deeper butterscotch/ mustard color with hints of peach/ pink/ white and aqua on the mirror spindles as you can see one side is almost a solid mustard. In a glossy enamel paint and the other side(end) is splotchy with a deeper gold the front is mostly a light yellow which could be sanded further to expose more of the mustard/ butterscotch and whatever else lies below ~ I lined the interior drawer bottoms with ... morevintage seersucker fabric in cream with a gold stripe it had wooden wheels on it but I removed them as they were worn out and almost square ~ you could add wheels if you wanted to as the holes are already there mirror has some crackling/grazing/slight fogging ~ still in pretty nice condition ~ gives a true clear image condition: sturdy ~ solid ~ not loose or shaky! in very good antique condition each drawer opening has the old metal guides on each side ~ dresser is missing a total of 2 ~ 1 on the middle drawer and 1 on a top drawer ~ drawers open easily and it doesn't seem to be a big problem ~ they would probably move a little smoother with those 2 guides installed and maybe even some waxing/lubrication on the drawer itself where it slides in and out top of the dresser has some wood/veneer cracking/splitting(minor) on one side ~ I have sanded but not glued anything ~ I like it the way it is but you may want to smooth it a little more ~ top has natural aging and crackling this particular dresser/ bureau is so unique and sweet and charming I don't have words enough! measures 35" high 39" wide 20" deep mirror extends 26 1/2" more in height mirror is 29&

Piece was acquired from its original owner whom bought the pieces in Harrisburg in the late 40s and got the glass custom made in the 50s. Tall Dresser: 5 Drawer 49" tall x 33" wide x 18" deep Cedar wood boxed bottom drawer. Cracked veneer on bottom drawer. 2" scratch on veneer on second drawer. 3 or 4 spots of chipped edges Great design. Solid hard wood with 40s Art Deco drawer pulls. Great piece however not pristine. There are bumps on edges of pieces. Few surface scratches due to the glass tops. Glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Overall great condtion outside of that mentioned. A little difficult to see in the images, but the top drawer does have a wooden divider right in the center, effectively making the top drawer into two sections on the inside. We have rated this chest as excellent condition. Because of the recent French polish in England it is in excellent condition. The wood does have old indents here and there that is has acquired over its lifetime that add charm and character to the chest. This beautiful chest I found as a diamond in the rough needing TLC.I fell in love with the"tiger mahogany" drawer fronts and all of the trim details. I restored this piece from top to bottom. Including custom made drawer slides/runners. Complete drawer rebuilding including gluing and clamping. The veneer was repaired as need on the drawer fronts.I added custom trim to the drawer fronts. Like a picture frame adding great detail and beauty. The hand carved Celtic circle was a custom addition. New polished nickel hardware. Notice the fluted ball feet and the original scroll trim on the lower front skirt of the dresser. This is a Victorian 3-Drawer Chest with a white marble top. It is hand-carved of pine wood with traditional Victorian leaf-shaped pulls. The drawers have hand-cut dovetailed joints. Antique MAHAGONY SOLID WOOD Vtg DRESSER w/ HANDKERCHIEF HANKIE DRAWERS Antique mahogany? dresser with handkerchief drawers. Measures approximately 40-1/2"wide x 19-1/2" deep x 47" high. Hankie boxes measure 12" x12-1/2" x 4-1/2" With drawer sizes as follows: bottom one is 9" 2nd from the bottom is 8" third from the bottom 7" and the top is 6" This is a solid wood dresser. I'm not positive, but am guessing mahogany. I estimate it to weigh about 125-150 pounds. I believe it to be perhaps from the late 1800' or maybe early 1900's, but again, am not sure. There's a repair to a hairline crack in the finial I noticed. There's also a hairline crack that runs the full width of the hankie box(the right side) but has not been repaired. Drawers don't all stop flush when you push ... morethem in, but this could easily be fixed by putting a little block of wood behind them to stop them flush. Beautiful piece for the money. I believe this great find was made in the South and has served its purpose in genteel homes in Atlanta all of its life. The finish may be original. Sturdy and roomy. Beautiful Antique Victorian Solid American Walnut Eastlake Dresser with Hankies drawers crafted of remarkable quality from a time long ago. 4 Large deep drawers with two small hankies drawers and back valace. Measures 41.0" wide by 50.0" tall by 20.0" deep. Has original Locks in which drawers can be lock with key. Large drawers are unique circular dovetail and of solid construction. Pronounced decorative Side columes with Raised ornate Panels on Drawers. Condition report: Being offered with the understanding that this is an antique that show signs of age and wear. The Top right hankie drawer has a break split toward back and trim hair break. Top has scuff and scratch marks that appear to have been finished over( please see photos) there is some finish wear. ANTIQUE MINIATURE OAK DOLL DRESSER CHEST OF DRAWERS SALESMAN SAMPLE SCROLL FRONT Beautiful miniature oak 3 drawer dresser. Most likely for a doll house but could be a salesman sample based on the quality scroll work on the drawer faces. This piece was all hand made and put together with nails. Each drawer has wonderful flowing design of acanthus leaves pressed into the face. Each drawer also has great wooden pulls. Based on the 2 holes in the back of the top this most likely had a mirror. Condition wise the is in very good shape for it's age. The drawers all ... moreslide open smooothly and fit nicely into the case. As mentioned there are two holes in the top that held a mirror which unfortunately I do not have. These could easily be filled with oak plugs or covered with a nice runner. The left side does have what appears to be a piece that started to tear out of the wood right along the grain. I think this was a flaw in the wood as the piece is only separated down about 1/2" and is solid below that and tight against the side. The nail at the bottom is not holding it on. That nail is holding the side to the rail. The top drawer bottom does have a piece that has separated but has been glued back on and is tight. The bottom drawer has piece that came off the side but this can easily be glued back on. This does have a few old worm holes in the middle drawer front and the back but no evidence any recent activity. Please see my photos for clarity and ask questions if you have any other concerns. This is a beautiful dresser which has aged wonderfully. Typically a man's dresser. A"high boy" is tall, but narrow, and fits in spaces other dressers can't. However, the ladies will also love this particular dresser for it's graceful styling and versatility. Parkville Maryland A relatively well-preserved tiger oak(likely laminate. As so many of this vintage were) with hard-mount mirror(i.e. not easily taken off, as some dressers) measuring as follows: 40" high at top surface area 48" x 22" entire top"work" surface 22" deep(approx. 58" high(to incl. mirror) NOTE: measurements account for/incl. the wheels on the legs = approx. 1 1/2" For the most part. The drawers and doors function quite well: opening, closing. The last 2 photos show the largest blems, each approx. 1" across, and in context, do not stand out, as they do in the isolated photos. Small dings, chips to legs, as you'll often see a piece ... morethat's been in use daily, certainly for the last 35+ years. Mirror is good, but not perfect, some smears that cleaning may abate-I'd use as-is. If I had to estimate it's age. I'd say as early as 1910s, and late as late 1920s. LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY. N.E.
