This piece stands 30 inches tall~ approx 2 ... more1/2 feet. 22 3/4 inches across the top/ square. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. The way this is constructed, it appears it can be taken apart ~ legs removed and lower shelf removed, for possible shipping. Because of its size and weight. LATE 19TH C ANTIQUE QUARTERSAWN OAK AMERICAN CARVED DRESSER CHEST DRAWERS MIRROR
This beautiful antique American quartersawn oak dresser has lovely carving across the top above the mirror and serpentine front two over two drawers below. It stands 81 inches tall and measures 44 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The dresser travels easily in two pieces as the mirror top section is 48 inches tall and the base top surface is 33 inches tall. There are two smaller drawers across the top with two larger drawers below. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design. It is unknown as to the manufacturer but surely American. Measurements: Height to top of mirror: 60-3/4” Height to top of table surface: 29” Width(table surface at back) 36-1/2” Depth: 20-1/2” Drawer Fronts: Glove Box: 11” x 3” Locking Drawer: 18-1/2” x 4” Condition: The underside interior near the front left leg shows traces of glue from what appears to be an old repair where the bow of the wood has stressed. It is fairly insignificant and does not show on the exterior. Yesterday's estate auction find. I have been buying oak furniture for many years. And this is by far one of the most unusual examples, that I have ever owned. Circa 1910 tiger oak gentleman's bar. Disguised as a dresser. Beautiful tiger oak markings. Throughout. Item appears to have been refinished. At one time. The top front board has hinges. And when lifted, the complete front swings around, to expose the bar section. Item measures approximately 43 and 1/2 inches wide x 34 and 1/2 inches high.
