This lovely vintage Art Deco Japanese kyodai. Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts an adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Small drawers offer space for accessories or make-up and it can easily fit on a night stand, chest or work top making it an very useable and versatile piece. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no major damage. Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some noticeable wear associated with age, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay, including the lamp maedallion at the top of the mirror. See ... morepictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right side finial is missing altogether. The knob that goes over the swivel action of the mirror on the right side has come off, but we do have it. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. Fine Neoclassical Italian Style Antique Marble Top French Commode Dresser Chest

European, Possibly Italian Item# 120008IRU26 This is a work of exquisite craftsmanship. Covered in a thick mahogany and rosewood veneer. The colors exemplified in this chest are simply remarkable. Inlaid with fine marquetry work, the musical instruments central to the commode are flanked on either side by books hanging from knotted ribbon. Two large drawers make up the case, each fully dovetailed front and back, exposed on the sides. Crisp gilt bronze mounts grace the corners and feet, allowing the cabriole legs to terminate in lion paw feet. The shaped marble top is heavy and in wonderful condition, restored at the back left corner. Purchased through an estate sale in old Charleston, SC and in lovely condition for a late 19th century piece with three wonderful beveled mirrors, lovely burl walnut on the front of the drawers, six small drawers and two large drawers for lots of organized storage and a nice top surface. The finish is in good condition, commensurate with it's age with only the minor nicks and dents one would expect with respectful use over time. The three beautiful beveled mirrors are clear and in very good condition, free of cracks, chips or pitting. In my close up I show how easily these mirrors on the side remove for easy and safe transport then are simply hooked back in place. The large central mirror can also be easily removed and wrapped ... morefor shipping. This delightful dressing table or vanity with bureau drawers has all it's hardware except one drawer pull has the back plate but is missing the handle itself. VTG 3 pc 50'S Black Art Deco Wood Bedroom Furniture Set Chest Dresser Mirror I remember these pieces in my aunt's bedroom many years ago. Pretty sure they are from the 50's. She always had"modern" taste back then. No idea who the manufacturer was but back of the dresser reads"WMB 8862 8864 T. DR. and then"90 Blue Mink" Pieces are heavy and seem to be made of oak. The grain is visible with a shiny black stain on it. Which sort of gives it a blackish, blue color. The handles are gold metal, but not sure what kind. There is a routing line around several drawers that are filled in with a gold finish. It has been used so there are some nicks here and there, but she was pretty careful with her things because at that time they needed to last a life time. There is s faint line around the top where she must have ... morehad some sort of cover over it to protect the top. Both pieces are slightly more narrow at the top and then get wider at the bottom-pretty neat with interesting lines, modern lines. Legs are attached at an angle. Drawers are dovetailed and made of what I think is oak. Description: Chest-45" tall; 20" deep; 40" long with 5 drawers- Note on the back there is a surface nick on one leg. But does not impact the piece. Dresser-32" tall; 60" long; 21" deep with 3 sets of 3 drawers(the 3 large ones are in the center) Mirror attaches to the top with screws in the back. Mirror-50 1/2" long by 33" tall(including 1 3/4" wood piece at bottom) Beveled(some clouding& some slight silver loss typical for it's age) Attached to wood which then sits on top of the dresser and bolted to 3 pieces of wood in the back. PLEASE NOTE THE GOLD TOPS AT THE TOP OF THE MIRROR. I have kept these pieces for several years hoping to use them. But after retiring find that I am definitely downsizing. Spectacular.World Class Beauty. Georgian/Hepplewhite Style"swirl mahogany" Bow front chest of drawers.Circa 1920 I acquired this stunning piece needing some tender loving restoration. It presented with a very opaque brown finish hiding the beautiful swirl mahogany. I removed the opaque finish and discovered the beautiful graining on this chest. Including on the drawers and the cross banded mahogany around the top edge.The rich reddish brown mahogany has incredible grains as seen in some of the close up photos(close up of the drawer pull) I restored the finish with many, many coats of hand rubbed varnish over the natural mahogany. The chest is a true chest of drawers with drawers that increase in depth(graduated) as you go down the chest.I restored the chest from top to bottom including regluing and clamping all of the drawers. The ... moredrawers all feature precise dovetail construction. Both at the front& back corners of the drawers. The drawers all have a extra stiffener support board built into the middle bottom of the drawers, a sure indication of high quality& craftsmanship. This chest is rock solid& built like a tank, made from all hardwood construction.the mahogany is all veneered over poplar secondary woods. The drawers are made of oak.The drawers slide excellently. The Chippendale style bracket feet and wrap around trim details of the top and lower portions of the chest are superb details. the brasses are all original including the dummy keyhole escutcheons. The detail of the brasses is fantastic as you can see in the photos. I buffed the brasses and clear coated them with laquer. They do have some darkened areas on the brass with makes for great character and patina The pulls work perfectly.You won't find more intricate& beautiful pulls.all original.There is a makers branded mark on the outside of the top drawer.see photo) The top drawer has 2 removable oak dividers which can be used to divide the top drawer into 3 compartments. A large solid mahogany top, molded and incredibly carved on the facade and formed in the reverse serpentine of the chest, rests over a collection of four graduated drawers. The chamfered and fluted corners flank the drawers. Each fully serpentine in form. The flamed mahogany veneers framed in cockbead molding applied around the edges of the drawer, hiding the dovetail construction of the drawers on the front. Awesome vintage minature maybe a salesman sample from back in the day. Companies would give these away to seniors in high school hoping the parents would by a larger version. Made of Cedar condition is good NOTHING broken chipped or cracked. The mirror is removable. It measures 12 inches long 4 inches deep and it is 10 inches tall. Note the wonderful little brass drawer pulls. Drawers slide in and out with ease, nothing warped. There are a couple of slight scratches, with a bees wax rub you would never notice them.

This was made by Drexel approx circa 1950s. The Surface is clean a couple of minor veneer chips to the sides from moving it over the years. The front is all clean and nice. A small scratch on the front of one drawers and a couple veneer chips on the side from previous moves, this character doe not distract from an older piece of furniture. Vintage VANITY CHEST of DRAWERS Miniature DRESSER Mirror 12x16 Salesman Sample?
Up for bid is the vintage/antique WOOD SALESMAN'S SAMPLE VANITY DRESSER/ CHEST OF DRAWERS w/ MIRROR. As seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Looks to be about 1/4 scale. Features a rotating mirror and(3) operable drawers(2 small at top, 1 large at bottom) Arts and Crafts style. Unsigned/no maker's mark(s) Exact age is unknown but I would venture to guess it is from the late 19th/early-to-mid 20th century. Found at an indoor flea market in Andover, N.J. in a booth that was filled with only amazing, old treasures) Made of a lightweight/low density variety of wood(perhaps oak, pine or alike) held together with both nails& screws(see pics) Stained dark brown with lovely patina. Excellent vintage condition with NO major defects whatsoever. Some small/light scratches(mostly to dresser top surface) and other very minor"blemishes" ... morethroughout. Structurally solid& sturdy. Sits flat with NO wobble. I cleaned the dust and smudges off the mirror BUT did nothing else. So aside from the mirror. It is being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. Cosmetic condition is as clearly& accurately shown in the pictures. Please inspect all of them carefully. Measures 11-1/2" wide x 16" tall(overall) x 6-1/4" deep. The dresser top surface is 7-1/2" tall and the outer edge of the mirror's frame is 8-3/8" wide x 8" tall. The bottom drawer has interior dimensions of 9-5/8" wide x 4-3/8 deep with 2-3/4" tall sidewalls. Each upper drawers. 4-1/4" square with 2-1/16" sidewalls. Total weight is 4 lbs 13.5 oz. Antique Birdseye Maple 3 Drawer Chest / Dresser with Beveled Glass Mirror
This gorgeous Antique 3 Drawer Chest/Dresser is made of Birdseye Maple. With an attached beveled glass mirror and 3 drawers with brass keyholes that do lock, needs a key-will be looking for one but many antique shops have a selection of antique keys) There are removable wheels on the legs. This measures approximately 40 in. W. x 20 in. deep x 27-3/4 in. H to the top of the dresser with the wheels in and 26-1/2 in. H. with the wheels removed. From the Floor to the top of the Mirror when it is attached to the Dresser it is 68 in. H. This is a beautiful old antique and would be lovely for a young girls room. This is pick up only.
