This is a gorgeous French Ladies Writing Table. It is a cream color with gold accented detailing of leaves and scrollwork. 7 drawers, and curved legs and feet. Vintage Refinished Cottage Bohemian Style 1950's Wooden Kidney Shaped Vanity Set
This is an awesome vintage refinished cottage/bohemian style 1950's wooden kidney shaped vanity set. It is in excellent condition with vintage aged charm. This set has been painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Provence. Then slightly distressed and finished with clear wax. It has swing arms that reveal two drawers with mercury glass knobs, and the drawers have been newly lined. The stool has been given a new piece of cushion covered in a pretty paisley pattern finished with hammered chrome upholstery nails. The 3 curved drawers are hand carved in a swagged fabric motif. And the upper legs are carved as feather plumes. Solid brass drawer pulls and claw capped feet. Measures 53.5 inches wide, 30 inches high, 17 inches deep at center, 21.5 deep at sides, and has a 24 inch knee clearance from the bottom to the floor. This is a charming mid-century vanity with stool and try-fold mirror. My Mother-in-law created the decorative skirt and upholstery for the seat of the stool. 32" wide x 30" tall(without mirror) 48" tall(with mirror) x 18" deep. There are 3 drawers with glass knobs. One knob is chipped, but glass drawer pulls are relatively inexpensive to replace.
