This lovely vintage Art Deco Japanese kyodai. Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts an adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Small drawers offer space for accessories or make-up and it can easily fit on a night stand, chest or work top making it an very useable and versatile piece. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no major damage. Antique Federal Style Flame Mahogany Dresser w/ Mirror Chest of 6 Drawers Bureau
Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some noticeable wear associated with age, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay, including the lamp maedallion at the top of the mirror. See ... morepictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right side finial is missing altogether. The knob that goes over the swivel action of the mirror on the right side has come off, but we do have it. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. Ltd. and is on loan to the user as custodian bailee. The oak cabinet is approx. 22 3/8” x 16” x 5 ¾” It has three shelves. The top section I used to hold Kleenex tissues. I especially like the door with the Red Cross symbol. It has Initial Office of First Aid Outfit painted on it. There are ventilation holes at the top and bottom of the cabinet. Some of the silver is lightly worn on the mirror which gives it that vintage charm I so love. The original finish is in excellent ... morevintage aged condition. There is a split in one section of the wooden towel bar which is not usual for it vintage age and usage. It can be hung with the two round hooks at the top. It is very heavy so use wall anchors with your screws to safely secure it to the wall. The wood backing on the inside that covers the mirror has a couple of gouges in the wood. You could remove the backing and replace the mirror with glass if you wanted to use it as a display case. I purchased this charming antique medicine cabinet from an antique store in 1983. She always had"modern" taste back then. No idea who the manufacturer was but back of the dresser reads"WMB 8862 8864 T. DR. and then"90 Blue Mink" Pieces are heavy and seem to be made of oak. The grain is visible with a shiny black stain on it. Which sort of gives it a blackish, blue color. The handles are gold metal, but not sure what kind. There is a routing line around several drawers that are filled in with a gold finish. It has been used so there are some nicks here and there, but she was pretty careful with her things because at that time they needed to last a life time. Both pieces are slightly more narrow at the top and then get wider at the bottom-pretty neat with interesting lines, modern lines. Legs are attached at an angle. Awesome vintage minature maybe a salesman sample from back in the day. Companies would give these away to seniors in high school hoping the parents would by a larger version. Made of Cedar condition is good NOTHING broken chipped or cracked. The mirror is removable. It measures 12 inches long 4 inches deep and it is 10 inches tall. Note the wonderful little brass drawer pulls. Drawers slide in and out with ease, nothing warped. There are a couple of slight scratches, with a bees wax rub you would never notice them.

Features a rotating mirror and(3) operable drawers(2 small at top, 1 large at bottom) Arts and Crafts style. Unsigned/no maker's mark(s) Exact age is unknown but I would venture to guess it is from the late 19th/early-to-mid 20th century. Found at an indoor flea market in Andover, N.J. in a booth that was filled with only amazing, old treasures) Made of a lightweight/low density variety of wood(perhaps oak, pine or alike) held together with both nails& screws(see pics) Stained dark brown with lovely patina. Excellent vintage condition with NO major defects whatsoever. Some small/light scratches(mostly to dresser top surface) and other very minor"blemishes" ... morethroughout. Structurally solid& sturdy. Antique Cherry 2 over 4 chest of drawers with mirror from Penn State Dorms
I purchased this from Penn State University as a student in 1989 as they were selling all of the original dorm furniture from one of their buildings. Most likely made by Pennsylvania House furniture of cherry. 2 upper drawers have keyholes but I do not have the key. Mirror pivots on swivels. The back had been replaced with a piece of paneling. Dovetail construction with original feet. The brass knobs are all similar but do not match exactly. Bottom drawer has some wear where it rubs against the slider. May actually be walnut instead of cherry.

This is a very handsome solid large golden oak piece that could be used as a bureau or sideboard. Etc. It is in excellent condition and has original ornate brass hardware. The lower bureau is 55.5"WX24"DX36"H. On top is the 40" high original ornate beveled mirror that has some light silvering but still is in fine condition. Thus the total height is 76" or six feet four inches. The two top drawers are 24" wide. The two lower drawers are 49"W. All drawers are fairly deep. It has a beveled mirror and comes with original? key. The locks all work except the 2nd drawer from the bottom. The lock turns up but doesn't stay in place. This piece comes from The Spencer and Barnes Company, Chamber Suits and Chiffoniers, of Benton Harbor, Michigan. I believe it is all original except for some screws. The mirror has a piece of wood on the back that must be for added support. Please refer to pictures. Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a Spencer and Barnes piece of history. Vintage Chest of Drawers with Ornate Framed Beveled Mirror. The size is approximately 73 1/4" tall x 36" wide x 19 1/4" deep with the mirror. There are 3 full length drawers with 2 half length drawers below and a door on the bottom right. It has a dark reddish brown finish. Possibly mahogany? There is a waved front on the drawers. The mirror frame has a yoke attached to the chest and could be removed if desired. The mirror is beveled and in good shape. The frame around the mirror is very ornate with a shell in the center with carved features. It has all of the handles. It is a wire type handles on the drawers and a knob on the door.
