Description This is a nice antique pediment that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Mansion. It is made of walnut and oak and is currently painted brown. There is a nice curved crown molding along the top with carved fans below. It was originally part of a larger piece. It measures 30.25 inches long. By 13 inches tall. It's 3.5 inches thick. Overall. Antique Vintage East Lake Victorian Walnut Wood Pediment 32 3/4" X 9 3/4"
You are bidding on a Vintage Antique East Lake Victorian Wood Wooden Pediment. The piece measures 32 3/4" long and 9 3/4" tall at the tallest point. The top piece is about 2 1/2" thick and the rest of the piece is about 3/4" thick. It has an eye hook on the back for hanging that was there when I got it. It is in overall very good condition. There is some burl on the front although it looks like it might be missing on the left side as you look at it. It is really hard to tell with the dark staining. It shows age appropriate wear but I do not see any cracks. Chips or breaks. There is some crazing on the middle piece and some minor crazing on the right side. The right side looks like the burl is raised on a place about 1" across and 2" tall. This would look great hanging on your wall, above the door or on top of ... morea wonderful victorian mirror. ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY VICTORIAN CARVED WALUT WOOD CREST or FURNITURE PEDIMENT PARTS Two beautiful. Old, Victorian Wood Pieces that go together nicely, and form a crest, or just to use as parts. They are carved from Walnut with very ornate carved flowers and leaves that are carved all the way through. They both have a scalloped top and plain back. This was probably part of a settee or large chair, perhaps a chaise lounge, because it has holes where upholstery tacks were(see photos) Also, on each end there are holes for dowels(the photos show both pieces put together like an arch way(they would have to be doweled again or glued to stay this way) These beautiful pieces of wood each measure approximately 13 1/2" high x 12" across. So, together, they would measure about 24" across. The wood is about 1 3/16" thick. This very ... moredecorative wood is in good condition but would need some refinishing or painting and a little restoration where the dowel holes and upholstery tack holes are. There are the usual minor nicks, from age and use, but no loss to the carving. Two beautiful old pieces of Victorian craftsmanship! Being offered as is and with No Reserve. Description This is a great antique piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of walnut and is currently painted tan. It was originally part of a built in closet. The crown at the top is nicely shaped with Eastlake Spoon Carvings The ends have nice carved leaves. The center has 3 carved flowers and 2 raised panels. It would be great above a door or window. Each measures 39.75 inches wide. 8.75 inches tall and 2.75 inches thick. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Genuine. Circa 1870s, furniture header. Unusual alternating dark/lighter stain across the top. Inscribed Eastlake carving with cannonbal finials on top. 8 turned spindles with pyramid medallion in middle. Bevelled trim above and below spindles. Very nice overall condition. VERY NICE ANTIQUE SOLID WALNUT CARVED EMBELLISHED PEDIMENT
Up for bid is a very nice Victorian era. Antique solid walnut furniture pediment. Standing 12" high x 25-3/4" wide x 1-1/2" or better thick, you'll find find carved grapes and leaves. There are a few cracks in the wood backing, but they have been fixed and so the pediment itself is very structurally sound. The pediment, I believe was part of a headboard to a bed, however, what you see is all I found. This would be a nice accoutrement to hang on the wall above a window opening, a doorway or a mirror, to add just a hint more of embellishment to any room in the house. Shipping and insurance will be $18.00, except to Hawaii, Alaska and all international destinations, where I will ship to, however, costs tend to be a bit higher. Wonderful Carved Walnut Victorian Era Architectural Salvage
A WONDERFUL SOLID WOOD ANTIQUE PIECE. POSSIBLY FROM A HEADBOARD OR OTHER LARGE PIECE OF FURNITURE. IT’S IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. AS THE PICTURES SHOW. IT DOES HAVE A FEW SCRAPE MARKS ON THE VERY TOP, BUT WHEN HUNG ON A WALL, THEY ARE NOT VISIBLE. SOME STAIN WOULD BE AN EASY FIX. THERE IS A HOOK ON THE BACK FOR HANGING. HUMONGOUS. Antique, salvage piece. Perfect as a Victorian cornice/window treatment. It may be walnut, but not certain. Nice, bevelled brackets at each end with Eastlake carving. Dramatic, rooftop, cornice trim ending with a bevelled center pedistal. Great feature to add an elaborate finial, figure, or bust. Very good overall condition and patina. It also has metal mounting rings already attached. It measures a whopping 81 1/2 inches long, 18 1/4 inches tall, and 7 3/4 inches deep at each end. Many other architectural antiques listed.
