The piece measures 23-1/2" wide across the bottom by 8-7/8" tall in the center by 3/8th inch thick I'm not sure what the wood is. Its a dark walnut stain color. The provenance has been lost on this piece as it was in a collection that was liquidated. On the back are two brackets used to attach. The piece is covered in gesso and finished with gold gilding. This piece measures: 69" long x 35 1/2 to top peak and each side measures 50" long. For sale I have a nice piece of antique architectural salvage from an old farm house. As you can see from the measurements this piece is quite large. I wish I had wall space to keep this beauty. The patina is an aged dark wood tone worn look. Some pieces from the front are missing from the design. This piece was once at the top peak of the house. Weight about 25 pounds. This piece had to be cut down due to lots of damage. I have trimmed up the edges and glued some of the boards down. Some of the boards are a little loose. But if this piece is hung on a wall it is fine. Beautiful Oak Pediment with carved leaves and burl embellishments. Also Eastlake spoon type carving on the ends that also have a hint of the Art Nouveau look! There is a arch in the middle that shows that it is attached with dowels. Not nails. Also the top(or could be the bottom if you like) has a ledge that is 1 5/8" wide. The piece measures 35.5" long and is 6" tall. I believe this came from an antique buffet or some other piece of furniture. There is hardware in the back. So it is ready to attach it to your wall. It measures approximately 48" wide x 17-1/2" tall. The top crown is 2-1/4" thick and the main body is 1-3/4" thick. Overall in good condition with very minimal wear to the finish and a couple of tiny nicks that can be expected from use& age. GREAT DECORATOR PIECE! REDUCED!* ANTIQUE 1850'S WV FARM HOUSE SALVAGE VICTORIAN HEADER PEDIMENT LINTEL
Up for your consideration we have this beautiful window pediment from a WV farmhouse built in 1850. I believe it is made of pine and is quite heavy weighing about 15 pounds. It is a salvaged item and does have some imperfections such as a few nails sticking up out of it and lots of chipping paint. The paint does come off very easily when you touch it. It measures about 17" tall to the peak. 44.5" long and about 4" thick. This is a beautiful salvage piece. I have one hanging on my wall and use it as a shelf to display a miniature bird house collection. Sorry I will not be able to offer international shipping on this item. Thanks for looking!

Antique Victorian Wood House Fretwork Architectural Salvage Cut Out Design Listed is a circa 1890's salvaged two sided exterior wood architectural fretwork. Removed from a Victorian house in Central New York. I did not attempt to clean this item. Just the way it is when removed. The old paint on both sides looks like the color mocha cream. There is some paint chipping and great old paint crackle. On the right top edge there is a saw mark and the old pine wood has a very slight bow. Dimensions 11 3/4" tall. 22 1/2 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick. The wood is solid. No soft spots. Thank you for viewing. Payment is to be received within 3 days after the close of the auction.
