This tank is made of beautiful tiger oak with a copper lining and some of the original inner workings. This tank would have been installed up high so when you pulled the chain the gravity would provide the water pressure to flush the toilet. Based on the materials and style of this piece it was likely made in the late 1800's or early 1900's. This is a great piece that can be restored and used. Or be displayed as an antique collectible! It comes with ecerything you see in the photos. What a nice piece to add to your bathroom decor Condition: This piece is antique and shows signs of ... morewear from use and storage. There is some light scratching on the wood with some paint splashes on one corner. The interior is sturdy. But has been heavily oxidized and is discolored as is typical of old copper. Antique Architectural Plumbing Wood Toilet Seat - brass hinge
The ringed seat is 16" front to back and 15 1/2" wide. Brass hinge in need of polishing etc, good and straight but plating is oxidized with some brass showing. 2 Cracks in ringed seat right in the cracks of connecting wood pieces. Top is in good shape. The stopper pads on ringed seat have broken off screws pretty much flush with surface, great refurbishing set to start with,thank you
