This authenticated antique desk and chair has hand carvings throughout the entire desk even including the back. There are 5 carved open compartments for organizing and a hidden drawer that opens the full length of the desk with 4 divided sections inside. The center disposal is the original period velvet sack with a hanging cord attached to a lovely ivory pearl stone set within a bronze circular ring with designs. A walnut wood weight is attached. Hand wood carvings include 2 beautiful ladies protruding from sides of desk and removable cupid on the top that is attached to the lid that covers the compartment where the clock sits. The clock has 3 different hand designs and incased in bronze. The face is a natural cream ivory? porcelain with black Roman numerals. The face is aged with some hairlines but the numerals are bold without any color loss. The clock has 2 front legs and a weighted bronze pendulum that you can view from the photo. It does move side to side and I hear ticking but is in need of adjusting. The clock is original and fits perfect to view from a circular opening made for it within the desk. This all original desk is in very good condition without repairs. It is hard to believe there are only two tips missing from the delicate finials. Located on left side underneath the desk and on the right side bottom between the legs. You will need to really search in the pictures because they are very hard to find. It is very rare to find a set. How fortunate to have this elaborate matching chair with velvet padded seat in such wonderful condition. The carvings are amazing and please view the lion and the Fiorentino symbol on the back of the chair. In my 30 years of experience I have never seen a desk set like this. The feet have not been used and the chrome is nice with no pitting or rust. They measure one inch tall and the chrome foot is one inch in diameter. The toothed disk that fits into your chair leg to hold the foot on is 11/16. The teeth on the disk will flex some what so the foot will fit a slightly smaller diameter opening on your chair leg if needed. You can also bend the teeth out somewhat if your chair leg diameter is close to 3/4 inches. The foot will not work on a chair leg with a female opening larger than 3/4 inches. This is a vintage vinyl massage chair from the 60's that's a great piece! The vinyl is in great shape except for the back where the zipper has come apart from the vinyl. Put against a wall or in a corner and you'll never know. This has built in back massage rollers. Heat and vibrate. The heat in the leg area doesn't work and not sure why. Beautiful old desk with chair. In good vintage condition; the desk has some marks and the name Lynne in old style writing on it. The metal shows some rust. The wood connection at the back of the desk has slightly come undone as the wood seems to have moved a bit with age. However this does not affect the usability of the item and it is otherwise in good sturdy conditon. The lit of the desk can be moved to access the storage space underneath. I have seen similar chairs listed as both and it appears that it could work either way. This chair is from the Himalayan Pack Company. I believe it was made in Monterey. Ca in the 1960's. The backpack has an aluminum frame that is approximately 18" x 14" with the total size from top to bottom being 21 1/2" This item is vintage and pre-owned. It has been used but is in very good condition but it does show signs of wear/age. The canvas is in nice shape with some marks and one spot that may come out with a little cleaning. Up for bid is a stunning vintage original high backed rocking chair by Hans Olsen for Juul Kristensen. It measures 40” x 32” x 26” This fantastic example is in very good vintage condition. Having only one 1” segment of cane repaired. There is no breaks to the frame, and a few scattered minor nicks. The bottoms of the runners have expected, but minor wear. The original cane is bright, clean, and tight. The original rubber coated springs are excellent. The upholstery is a beautiful textured material and is in excellent condition. Free of stains, holes, wear, fading or other issues. The foam is also good, heavy material, that makes the seat cushion lay beautifully. The finish is great with light patina and slight mottling to the armrests, though not enough to warrant reoiling. In short, this chair is an amazing survivor. While the machine bit the dust long ago. This Herman Sperlich designed chair is as good today as it was when manufactured in the 1950's. Sperlich is credited with creating one of, if not the very first ergonomic chair. This one has the original off-white paint and Ironrite decal on back of the backrest, but there's no mistaking this chair even if it didn't have it's decal. The metal. Pivoting backrest sits low on your spine to provide superior lumbar support and to dramatically reduce lower back pain caused by extended periods of sitting. Vintage Steel Industrial Leather Seat Chair in Red Machine Age This is a very interesting old Machine age or Industrial steel frame chair with a hard leather seat. I am unable to find a manufacturers mark anywhere on the chair. I purchased the chair along with 4 others of the same type at a garage sale and I was told they came out of the GE plant in Syracuse NY. The chairs measure 18 inches tall at the seat the seats measure 15 3/8 inches roughly square The back rest rises 14 inches above the seat. The back rest is adjustable by about 2 inches and the legs are also adjustable by as much as 8 inches. Even the depth of the back rest can be adjusted. The chairs are sill very solid and sound but they have seen a lot of hard use. There is a lot of chipped paint but the chairs are still solid. Even the hard leather seat looks original and in relatively ... moregood condition. The screws that secure the legs are not all original, some take a flat screwdriver and some take Phillips. These are some pretty cool looking chairs and in my research i could find none like them on the internet. The paint is not original. The silver paint on the feet comes off fairly easily. Estimated shipping weight: 25 pounds. These can actually be made fairly compact and be shipped USPS fairly reasonably. This would probably be cheapest to ship via Greyhound freight shipping if you purchase more than 1 chair. Eames-era Stendig 3-cushion Sofa and Chair - Raimondo - Teak - Rare - Vintage
Made of Teak. Eames-era three-cushion sofa and large matching chair. Selling as a set. Will not separate. Sofa measures 83" wide, 31" deep, 22" high at arms, and 16" cushion height. Chair measures a generous 35" wide, 31" deep, 22" high at arms, and 16" cushion height. Dimensions of Teak framing is 7/8" thick by 4-1/2" The visible height of the horizontal platform that the cushions sit on is about 2-1/2" tall. Sides and back are hinged to fold flat once a few recessed. Allen-head machine screws are removed. The base/platform that the cushions sit on separates in that process. Wood has some fading. Nicks, scratches, etc. was made in, and in daily use, since late 1970s. Cushions as seen in photos have had some quick, no-frills, home-made fabric slip covers wrapped around them. Original ... morecovers(brown leather) underneath are no longer in usable condition, so you would either have to use as seen in photos, or have new cushions/covers made. Vintage Wooden Folding SNYDER CHAIR Theater Church Assembly Wedding Funeral US
This vintage wooden folding chair is quite durable. It has the usual scuffs. Scrapes and discoloration consistent with age and use, but nothing to detract from its overall function and character. Folded, it measures 16" wide, 36" tall and 1.5" thick. Open, the seat is 16" up from the ground and the seat measures 12" wide in the front and 14" wide in the back and 12.75" deep. There are no cracks in the wood, the legs are worn evenly on the bottom, allowing for it to sit flat without wobble. The metal parts are all straight and tight. One side of the back rest has a space, but doesn't seem to affect sturdiness. Please carefully view pictures to further determine condition. incredibly cool authentic orange womb chair in very good vintage condition commensurate with age. my best guess is that it's from the 1960's or 1970's. there are no labels but. Per the picture of the bottom of the chair, there are two old tac nails present that would have held the original label down. structurally sound with all four glides intact. All screws, and soft, cushy foam cushions. it's 39" at the widest point on the arms and 35.5" high. the clasp on one of the hooks that holds the cushions in place is broken so it doesn't close completely. no rips. Vintage Original Signed Gustav Stickley Chair H Back 1904-1907 Mission Arts Rare Original Signed Gustav Stickley Chair 1904-1907 Mission Style Arts and Crafts 1 owner chair! Up for your bidding consideration is the wonderful signed. Gustav Stickley H Back Chair. I purchased this stunning piece from an estate sale in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was a one owner chair, in the family for over 100 years! It is in good shape considering its over 100 years old. The red Gustav Stickley stamp can still be seen on the chair. The style of stamp tells me its 1904-1907. The chair is still tight for its age, but does have flaws. The center back piece has some cracks, may have been repaired. I don't know if it has been recovered, but I would assume it has. It has a stamp underneath on the pad and I can only read"bose co. The chair has some scratches ... moreand the lower legs have some discoloring. The chair legs also have a pet odor to them. I haven't tried to clean the chair, to see if the smell would go away. Its over 100 years old and if it were my chair I would just leave it the way it is. Its a piece of American History, made by a true American Craftsman, Gustav Stickley.
