SPACE AGE Vintage Mid-Century 50s 60s LIDO Red/White HORN RADIO LAMP for BICYCLE
This comes out of the estate of a gentleman who owned a local TV/RADIO Store and Repair Shop. He was also an avid bicycle enthusiast. This is for one red/white signed LIDO Lamp/Light. AM Transistor Radio and Horn. It measures overall 5 1/2" in length. The light has a diameter of 2 1/2" the radio portion has a measurement of 3 by 4 1/4" The horn sounds very loudly, the light works and the radio works as well but it isn't a strong signal unless you're outside and you move the"tuner" on the inside. that's what my husband called it) Obviously the connection/wires are loose and would need to be adj usted. The once white plastic has yellowed with age. No chips or cracks in the plastic. A few scuff marks, but overall condition is excellent for something that close to 60 years old. Great old lamp Shown in an area with 8 foot ceilings- maximum extension is 9 feet. H as a 3-way switch on the pole and is in fine working condition Cosmetically this item is good for someone who is not super picky or it would make a great restoration project. Issues are as follows: the mid-section of the pole has a fair amount of pitting and the back sides of shades show wear(as shown in photos. Which go from top to bottom, fronts then the backs- ie, the first three are top/middle/bottom fronts and the next three show the wear on the top/middle ones- is most significant on the top one, not too bad on the middle one and the bottom one has the flaws as shown. Additionally, the insides of the shades have some wear- the photo is of the top one and it is the worst of the three. Fortunately the shades swivel/rotate. Mid Century Modern Flos Splugen Brau Spun Aluminum Pendant Lamp Castiglioni
Flos"Splugen Brau" hanging pendant light or lamp- designed in the early 1960's by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. A timeless design. And still in production today. I do not know the age of this particular lamp, but it is in used condition. Made of ribbed, spun aluminum and in very good condition. Some minor scratches here and there, and one tiny ding in the mid section(see photo and red arrow) Really hard to notice with all the ribs and reflections. The cord is approx 7' long, but can be shortened as needed. The light comes with the metal electrical mounting plate(must be hard wired) and plastic trim piece. These lights look best with chrome tipped light bulbs(photo) but the bulb shown is not included. Size" 14' diameter and approx. 8" high. Look online for plenty of lighting ideas.

Rare Gerald Thurston Mid Century Modern Lightolier Saucer Floor Lamp. I'd found a couple examples of a desk lamp that was attributed to Gerald Thurston. The shades were identical, but I was never able to find the matching floor lamp, other than this one. This one is in working condition, but shows some condition issues. The plastic light diffuser melted when someone used too hot of a bulb at one time, there are a couple of dents in the metal base, and there are light speckles of white paint overspray, not terrible and should be easily cleaned off, but it's there. You can see the switch is slightly bent, I found this when I removed the shade and straightened it somewhat. I cannot ship this. It's just beyond my skill. Buyer has the choice of either paying a professional packer to pack this puppy, or better yet, just come pick it ... moreup. Other than the plastic shade issue, which isn't even noticable unless you look up directly under it, the issues are an easy fix for this rare floor lamp. I try to ship within 24 hours of reciept of payment. Except on weekends and holidays. I also charge the buyer what I pay in shipping. George Nelson created UFO"Bubble Lamp" for Howard Miller. This one is an original Mid Century classic with its soft warm glow. The new ones from Modernica just don't give the same glow. This one is larger sized at 24" wide and 10" tall at it's center with a very long 22 foot cord that seems to be the original. The cord was adapted from wired socket type to regular wall plug at some point. This one is fine shape except for a small sized tear on the bottom that is hardly noticeable. The base is made of three brass feet fixed to a central brass base. The original switch is placed on the cord. The Philips label can be found inside the lampshade. The lamp is in good/fair condition and in full working order. There are age related scratches. Marks and chips on the petrol blue lacquer work. Red Visor Table Lamp Mid Century Modernism Eames Attributed To Angelo Lelli
This is such a cool lamp! In 1946 Angelo Lelli designed a floor lamp for Arredoluce similar to this lamp with the same visors and style as this table lamp. This is a 23 3/4" table lamp with the original red enamel and a chrome stand to slide the lamp higher or lower. The lamp does work. The red visors can be moved into many different positions as desired. There are some paint chips on the enamel. The worse chips are behind the socket that looks as if it wasn't loosened enough to change the position on the lighting. I also noticed several of the red visors closest to the lamp are discolored most likely from the heat. It is not signed anywhere that I can see without removing the red felt on the base.

Vintage mid century Bee-hive Atomic lamp 50-60's, tri-pod style
This is a wonderful Bee Hive Atomic Vintage mid century tri-pod lamp. The lamp is in great condition for its age and has minor wear. The shade itself is in excellent shape and I cannot find any cracks or damage. The color is not faded in any area and is a beautiful aqua color. The base is tri-pod style with 3 wooden legs and a metal ring which hides the light assembly. Part of the light outside case is cracked and taped in place and you may be able to see it in photo#4. However it does not detract from the use and you are not able to see it when the shade is on the lamp. Cord is in great condition and has no frays or damage. Lamp stands 14" tall and about 7" wide. Vintage eames era mid century yellow plastic beehive tripod accent lamp light
For sale is a vintage beehive tripod light lamp. It measures about 15 inches high by 8 inches wide. The plastic beehive shade is in excellent condition without any breaks in the plastic or discoloration. The tripod base is in good shape also but the brass colored metal does show some tarnish and discoloration. Very minor and expected of something this vintage. It doesn't deter from(as you can see from pictures) the overall beauty or function of item. Include as a matter of accuracy of description. The tripod has wooden legs which I think are teak or some other hard wood. Th fixture has a one bulb holder which has the original working wiring which appears to not have to be replaced. The switch for lamp is along the side at top of base. As you can see from the picture the lamp looks awesome in a vintage mid century setting. This is the Quintessential Mid Century Modern Tension Pole Lamp. Very Unique and stunning Design and in excellent working condition There are 2 shades( Lights) They are made of a Brass Frame with linen covered fiberglass and Wood trim on the outside of the shades. The metal on the shades. And top and bottom pole I believe is Brass. The center section of the pole is wood(I believe it's walnut. But not certain) It has a rotary turn on/off switch. Turn the switch once for one light, turn it again for the other light and again for both. It's designed to fit an approximately 8 foot ceiling. The tension spring at the top is tight and working properly.You set the disk on the ceiling and move the rest under it to set the tension. There is some tarnish on the brass. This is an original Laurel table lamp with mushroom glass shade. This is an unusual color variety- the base has a copper color finish. It measures approximately 16" tall. 13" wide. WILD!!! Vintage Mid-Century Retro Atomic 1950's Chalkware Fiberglass Lamp
This is probably one of the wildest 1950's chalkware lamps you're ever going to come across. Lamp works perfect and is in very good condition for a lamp that is 50-60 years old. There are no chips to the chalkware. There is one small spot on the side shown in the last photo where the paint has some cracks and a very small flake has come off. As with most lamps this age the cord is also slightly stiff. The fiberglass shade is in good condition. There's a spot on the inner shade where it's slightly wrinkled or bunched up where it's laced to the frame. I believe this is not damage but probably the way it left the factory. Lamp is approximately 37" tall. I think for safety. I'll ship this in two boxes. Don't let this one get away!

Original 1960s Table Lamp Mid Century Bauhaus Danish Modern 50s 70s Era
You are bidding on an original art deco table lamp. The lampshade is made red fabric backed with opaque white card to maximize light reflection and fitted onto a white metallic structure. The lampshade is fitted under the bulb casings and held in place by a small chrome lid. The base is made of polished metal a cover finished with teak or ash laminate. The original light switch is placed under the light bulb(see picture 6) The lamp is in good condition and in full working order. There are a few age related marks on the lamp. However. Vintage Mid Century Modern Atomic Metal Wood 3 Cone Pole Lamp Beige
All original vintage pole lamp with cones. Each cone turns on one at a time so you can control how much light you want in the room. Beige metal with brass-tone metal in the center of the pole and accents and wood(teak? tips on the cones. The cones are positionally adjustable and have stamped-in holes that lets the light come through for cool effect. This lamp works. There is some natural vintage-age scratching in some areas of the paint. But there are no dents or dings. A good cleaning/polishing will make this pole lamp shine. Please visit my store to see newly added Thurston/Lightolier Floor lamps and Knoll Items. Three exciting& matching Thurston Tripod Lamps coming to my store around 20 Feb. Up for sale is a Gerald Thurston for lightolier. Sometimes mis-attributed to Mathieu Mategot. This is one of the earliest models judging by the power plug. Exceptional condition with many features, please see General Description and Condition sections. General Description: This is a quality item. A very early Gerald Thurston floor lamp standing 56" tall with a 23" diameter shade. A highly sought after Floor lamp with minimal footprint as an alternative to the Thurston tripod lamp(the model I'm selling is taller) It is capable of being tucked between furniture whereas the tripod model requires larger footprint area. This model has a very heavy poured 12" ... morewide ingot at the bottom stamped with model number and Lightolier's manufacturer mark, with the ingot itself having 6 feet as part of pour, resulting in the lamp being raised 1/2 above the ground. Above this rests a 12"metal curved thick plate cover, and above this a 7" white thick metal plate that contrasts the 3 poles that rise to the lamp diffuser and shade. The light socket is a three-way switch meaning three power levels can be used with an appropriate bulb providing the right lighting at various times from a soft glow to a full illumination of a room. Typically a 150 watt bulb is used. The white perforated metal sections disburse the light with concentration on downward and uninhibited up ceiling/wall washing. With a very large wide shade of 23" that does not blind you when being viewed, yet due to it's size provides a large amount of light. Finally the Linen shade has a 9" wide aperture at the top and 23" bottom with a 9" slant providing a very modernist line to the form of the lamp stand.
