Arts & Crafts / Mission Oak Slag glass table Lamp./stickley, Limbert Era all Org
~~ Arts& Crafts Table Lamp base ~~ no shade What a great estate find! Have you ever seen a Arts& Crafts Oak base with slag glass in this design? there are plenty of the all oak bases with out slag glass& also the metal arts& crafts Lamps this design have the slag glass base. So if your after the special one, this is for you. everything on this lamp base is Org. except I replaced the wiring& cord. Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side ... moreit almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base, which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. Came loose from age& just need a little glue to secure them. There are pictures of all 4 side& 1 picture of the little loose piece the has the shade screwed to it added to the very end of the picture slideshow. I will wrap your base extra carefully with lots of bubble wrap for a safe& secure long trip to you. Thank you!

Fantastic Rare Arts & Crafts oak Hall chair SOC Limbert Stickley era Mission
I have only seen one other of these chairs in 22 years of collecting and dealing Arts& Crafts. I believe this is Shop of the Crafters. The original untouched fumed finish is 95+% and this has the original Oil cloth seat with the original hand wrought tacks. This is precisely how I got it from an estate today. There are a few minor things I want to mention for accuracy. There is a natural split on the bottom of the back foot, there was a split on one lobe of the side of the clover cutout on top and a small split on the side of the seat, all of which is easily fixable. The design is strong with many influences. This type of chair rarely comes to the market. Paypal payment due within 3 days. Buyer pays and arranges s/i. I will assist in any way possible. I can suggest Uship or Plycon for freight but there are others as well. I will gladly ... morestore this for 60 days. I am guessing this is going to cost 150ish to ship.

Antique Arts Crafts Stickley Era Hammered Lamp Limbert Era Slag Mission
Awesome lamp! Receives so many complements. Hammered brass/bronze finish Heavy iron lamp. It appears to be hand riveted with hand pounded true rivets that go through the shade! It appears to have been re-wired in the recent past(however it is the buyers responsibility to have Inspected or expect all electrical prior to use) I use appliance or fan lightbulbs so they show less since they are shorter. See photos. This is a killer lamp. Posted with
CHARLES LIMBERT antique hutch furniture
This Charles Limbert hutch is missing a decorative woodpiece for the glass door and shows some wear on the top surface. But is in otherwise fine shape. The piece appears to be well balanced and structurally solid throughout with no rocking or warping. Although the exact year the piece was created is unknown, the'Limbert Furniture, Holland, MI' stamp located in the pullout drawer might suggest it was crafted between 1906 and 1922, 1906 being the year he moved his operation to Holland, MI and 1922 being the year when Limbert's poor health prompted him to sell his share in the company. 45c447.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk.rp73%28%3E45c447-13d3db88307-0xf6-
Window Bench Plans, Stickley / Limbert Mission Furniture Plans
Window Bench plans. Designed by Charles Limbert. Dimensions: 24W 18D 24H The Window Bench shown in the picture was made from these plans. These are life size plans of the Arts& Crafts period furnishings I've made over the past 14 years. The dimensions came from either measuring originals or from customers who wanted me to re-create their originals. Actually. When I started making these works I found that most of the plans on the market did not come out as shown on the picture that came with the plans, nor the originals. I'm happy to offer these plans to you in confidence that you will be re-creating the originals as they were made in the 1900's A set of plans include a dimensional cut list. Full scale drawings of the views needed to re-create the piece, drawings of jigs needed, as well as step by step instructions and notes. ... moreAlso included are instructions on how to re-create the finishing colors used during the Arts and Crafts Period. As well as a list of products and where to purchase them. This list includes where to buy norhtern quarter sawn white oak lumber, finishing products, authentic copper hardware and everything else you need to re-create these great works. This item ships witin 2 business days. Plans are rolled up in a tube and shipped via USPS.

Mission Arts Crafts table lamp copper pierced shade style of Limbert Stickley
Wow! I think this is really cool. Mission Oak arts and crafts table lamp with pierced copper shade of windmill. Lake, boat scene. You can tell by looking at this and the way it was constructed that it was a hand crafted item and probably not something made in factory. Shade is constructed of four copper panels, soldered together with(see photos) pierced scene of Dutch Windmill and boat on lake similar to logo from Limberts of Dutch Arts and Crafts. Oak base is screwed and nailed, two corbels have season cracks but could be reglued, pull sockets are Monowatt, original pull chains, both work but i would rewire. Lamp is approximately 22 inches tall and shade is approximately 14-15 inch square at bottom. I will revise to exact dimensions when I get this home. This is a really cool, one of a kind? arts and crafts item that i am starting at a low ... moreprice with no reserve. Shipping and insurance will be 25.00 anywhere in the USA and I will double box the shade.

And I must say that from top to bottom, it is an outstanding job. Thanks! I really never considered"repro" items to compliment my collection of early Gus pieces until I saw some of your morris chairs on eBay and could see the quality of your work. It appeals to me in the same way as work done 100 years ago which embraced the same design philosophy. I also commend you on your level of professionalism during the process. I know I was very picky and particular about each step and you did a

We are located in Central PA approximately 3 hours from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington DC. We welcome your visit to our shop to examine or pick up any items for sale on eBay. Description: This is an antique Limbert hall chair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts& Crafts period in fair condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an original finish. The chair has superb form with angled posts at the back and a thick plank seat. There is a flared back stretcher and a wide front leg. The front and back feature pinned through tenons and the upholstery has been redone in high quality black leather ... morewith brass tacks. The chair is signed with brand and is numbered. The one issue with the chair is a missing section of wood on the front leg. This is not the result of a break but is a seam where two boards were joined. It appears that the glue failed and the piece was lost. A repair is very possible and would likely be invisible if done skillfully. Antique Arts & Crafts Mission wood waste basket Stickley Limbert Lakeside Crafts
wastepail ITEM: Antique Arts& Crafts Mission Style Waste Basket MEDIUM: Stained wood. APPROXIMATE SIZE: 15 inches tall x 10 inches wide. APPROXIMATE DATE: 1910 MARKINGS: I do not find any markings but there may be glue remnants on the bottom in the shape of what might have been a paper label. Please see images. CONDITION: This pail has a nice aged patina. It was used and does show signs of wear. There is a 2” crack in the bottom of one of the panels but it does not really show unless you look close and does not affect the structural function. It comes from one of the screws that attached the panel to the base and looks like it may have happened when it was screwed together. It also looks like someone put varnish over it which has sealed and protected it. see images) The straps which connect the panels around the top are black and I think ... morevinyl feeling. I imagine these are replacements and it originally had leather. One could easily replace these with leather. NOTES: This is a super nice little waste basket. The design is perfectly proportioned and very satisfying. It is comprised of a 6 sided wooden base with 6 arched top vertical panels that are cut at the sides forming nice cut out shapes when put together. Note the very subtle cut out notch detail in the center of each cut edge. see images) It is stained a dark brown and I don’t know what kind of wood it is but think probably oak. It is very well made. I did find one similar one sold on ebay that had a paper label from the Lakeside Craft Shops. I looked for a label on this one and did not find one. But did notice an area on the bottom that may have had a label, see images) The similarities in the pails make me wonder if this also was from the Lakeside Craft Shops. You are bidding on the one item listed. Please see my other listings for more items that I intend to list to sell with low to no reserves.

"Stunning Limbert Bedroom Suite"...One of a Kind..Very Rare..Reasonable Reserve
Here is someone a chance to own a bedroom suite made by one of the top furniture markers this country has even seen.I will have to admit that I had never heard of him but after doing a little research I see that he was highly respected in the early 1900's.This suite is in excellent condition.it has one blemish and you have to look close to see it.on the left side of the dresser.the little rail has been re-glued but it is certainly doesn't hurt the over all appearance of the dresser.other than that. The suite looks pretty much like it did 80 years ago.I haven't got all the widths and lengths yet but I will and add them within the next 24 hours.for you folks that might know nothing about Limbert, I am going to see if I can copy and paste some info. Charles P. Limbert was born in Lyonsville. Pennsylvania in 1854 and died at his home ... moreoutside Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1923. Influenced by the heavily Dutch population of the Grand Rapids area. Limbert started designing and building"Dutch Arts and Crafts" style furniture and lighting at his Grand Rapids factory in 1902. He always used the phrase"Arts and Crafts, and never the word"mission" to describe his furniture. He was a student of European furniture designs, acknowledging the influence of the German and Austrian Secessionists on his work. British(particularly Charles Rennie MacKintosh) Japanese, and American Prairie School influences are also evident in Limbert forms. Limbert visited Europe on more than one occasion, and studied examples of Dutch peasant furniture. Limbert claimed that the original Spanish Mission Style was derived from Dutch furniture designs. He employed a designer of Austrian background named William Gohlke. Paul Horti. Famous for Shop of the Crafters designs, also designed some furniture for Limbert. Of all American Arts and Crafts furniture makers, Limbert was perhaps the best known for his use of decorative cutouts, including squares, spades, hearts, etc. While Arts and Crafts enthusiasts may not find all L

QUARTERSAWN OAK LIMBERT DROP FRONT DESK DUTCH ARTS CRAFTS HOLLAND MICHIGAN MARK
Here is a fabulous and rare find these days. a gorgeous Limbert's quartersawn oak desk. Made in the United States in the early 1900's and bearing the Limbert's Furniture burned in the wood mark as shown. According to Wikipedia's information on Limbert, Charles P. Limbert(1854-1923) was founder of the Limbert Furniture Company and a contemporary of Gustav Stickley. Although the two most likely didn't know each other. Stickley was more of a self-promoter while Limbert was content to let his furniture speak for itself) Limbert's quartersawn oak furniture is characteristic of the Arts and Crafts movement in America; some of it looks similar to that produced by other makers of the day. Many of the company's better pieces. However, are pleasingly unique, are solidly constructed and stand on their own merits. As far as ... morebiographical information they state Charles Limbert was born in Linesville. Pennsylvania in either 1854 or 1856. The son of cabinetmaker and furniture dealer Levi H. Limbert. After moving with his family in 1866 to Akron, Ohio, he later learned the furniture business in the 1870s at his father's store. As a young man in Akron the first business he tried on his own was in the carriage trade. After leaving his adopted hometown in the mid-1880s he moved west and began his career as a furniture salesman. Charles started making chairs in Grand Rapids. Michigan while continuing to distribute furniture made by others. Limbert established a factory in 1902 where he designed and built what he termed"Dutch Arts and Crafts"style furniture and light fixtures. In 1906 he opened a factory in Holland. Michigan. Which he regarded as a more healthy environment for his workers. Limbert continued to manage his company until 1922, when poor health prompted him to sell his share in the company. This beautiful quartersawn oak drop front desk would have been made sometime after 1906 as it includes both the Holland and grand rapids factory locations on it's tag. It stands 40 1/2 inch
