Along the same lines as Hans Wegner's"Cigar" chair design for Getema, these beauties were also made in Denmark in the 1950s and just as well made. Unlike so many of chairs in this style that appear on Ebay. These are not a combo of woods or a generic hardwood stained to look like teak. They are each 100% SOLID TEAK throughout(sides, seat, arms and back) with removable upholstered seat and back cushions. Great looking from any viewing angle and they provide excellent comfort. Cushions are the original heavy inner spring design, so no fear of them loosing their shape verses just foam. Upholstery is a wonderful neutral oatmeal color woven wool, so will match in any color scheme decor. Seat backs will remove so each chair can ship in its own box via UPS oversize. measurements Overall each chair measures 31.5" high by 25" wide by 29" deep. The seat cushion is 20" wide by 4" high by 21" deep. The beautiful Italian Walnut Wood is in very good condition. With a bit of white Paint as seen in the pics and very little dings. The Chair is Made to dis a ssemble easily. The one piece sides pull up and off like a bed frame(see Pic#12) with all Brass hardware. And the n the back is held to the seat with one screw. This attractive leather sling chair model 657 with chrome frame is extremely comfortable and well made. The condition is excellent with very little wear to the leather sling. The leather sling is excellent and the leather cushion has some finish loss to the front edge from use and the velcro needs to be reattached to the seat. The chair is marked with an early Art Metal Knoll label and looks amazing. Two foot glides are missing otherwise excellent condtition. Vintage Danish Modern Chair Mid Century Teak Lounge Mod Eames Mad Men
This auction is for one vintage Danish modern lounge chair. The chair is solid. But it does need to have it's leather bottom seat support straps replaced. The five original straps are there, but they are dry and worn with age. Cosmetically, the dark wood stain has wear and scratches(see pictures) We had planned on stripping it and refinishing it, but just never found the time. There are a few places with gouges in the wood. Each of the four legs has a brass accent foot. One of the accents has a split in the brass(see picture) No cushions are included in this auction. The chair measures 26.5" deep. 26.75" wide, and stands 27.5" tall. I will disassemble the chair for safer shipping and to keep the cost at a minimum. Please email me with any questions.

Being offered with no reserve and free shipping. A vintage lounge chair made of chromed metal and upholstered in an ivory colored cotton fabric. It seems to be a Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. But it was recently upholstered and now has no labels, so I cannot say for sure. The chair is in very good condition and very clean. The metal has normal minor scratches. For a vintage piece. The cushions are foam and are firm. The screws that attach the chair to the base are not present, I guess when the chair was redone they didn't bother to put them back since they do not affect the functionality of the chair. Beautiful Adrian Pearsall walnut lounge chair all original fabric and webbing. Upholstery has no stains. Tears, or rips. Chair is very sturdy though the back of it is a little wiggly due to the age of the chair. Wood is in great shape. Minor little surface scratches in the wood from normal wear over time. One section of the webbing has broke apart but could probably be repaired and is not noticeable since it's under the chair. Such a beautiful chair and hard to find one in this great of condition! This early tank chair is in as found condition. It is comfortable and ready for restoration. There are at least two layers of upholstery on this chair. I have not pulled any of the upholstery back to expose the inner construction. The right arm/leg appears to have been removed and reattached(see photos) There is also an area on the rear of the right arm/leg that has been broken and repaired. I believe that both of these issues can be easily restored to a more original appearance by a skilled woodworker. There are very few of these early chairs available anywhere. The frame has been completely disassembled all joints secured and refinished. The frame is made of a light wood birch/maple and updated in a light walnut color. The floating arms are very secure which was a weak point with this design. The signature tongue and groove joint where the arm meets the back leg is still present after the refinish. This set is from a hard to find first/early production in 1950s. Which has many things from later rosewood set. Cushions are made from Grey duck feathers/down instead of all rubber. H ere is a very unique 1950's light honey colored fiberglass lounge chair by noted designer Lawrence Peabody for the Selig Manufacturing Company. It enco mpa sses several features of the earlier famou s Herman Miller fiberglass chair. Nam ely the molded threaded fiberglass shell on a steel base in a choice of colors. Peabody offered two basic frame styles. One with rubber shocks at a mid back and another with a steel frame wrapping around the entire outside edge of the shell. This chair has the latter, solid tubular frame all aroun d the edge of the chair for a sturdier. Stronger, and more comfortable chair. Comfortable ... moreis the key word as Peabody strove to mix the beauty of the threaded fiberglass with a larger more ergonomi c design in a larger shell than the Miller shell. This chair measures 33" tall by 27" wide and 26" in depth and has the height and slight lounge tilt backwards to exceed the Miller chair in comfort. The stee l frame also has a more industrial look as well. This chair is in very nice condition with only normal wear to the fiberglass with a few light surface scratches. There is one missing footie that I intend to replace as well. It also has a slight bend on one of the back legs. This chair had an original reddish color but has faded to the hon ey color as shown. So its rarity overall is even greater. There are no cracks or chips to the fiberglass. Shipping is $68 and I pack professionally. Up for consideration is a Selig lounge chair with ottoman. Great Eames replica! With original tag! The chair is covered with some sort of vinyl. Which looks like leather. There is one small rip on one of the arms. I've never tried to patch it because it's really not that bad. Wood is in great condition for its age. There are a few scratches here and there, but nothing that compromises the overall look. All feet have glides. The color of the wood on the ottoman is slightly darker than that of the chair. Pricing lower than most of these chairs due to tiny pinholes in material(leather or vinyl? mostly on ottoman- see photo) The top part of headrest also has some(see photo) back and seat overall good- I see only 2 or 3 and one left arm side not visible from top. Hardly noticeable. These don't affect use and detract little from the chair in my opinion as they aren't huge or tears- look like may have been tiny claws of ... morea pet, but I don't know as they were there when I purchased. The plywood is in good condition overall. The chrome parts have some flaking and rust spots which I haven't tried to steel wool or rehab as it is very usable as is and super comfortable. The best part is this example still has its original ottoman/stool. The purchased this set from a collector who had owned it for over 10 years and purchased for the original owners. The finish on this chair is original and in amazing condition. There is one small dent on the back of one leg as shown in the photo. The webbing has been replaced and cushions are new.
