A lovely version of the'Moon lamp' designed by Verner Panton. The light given off by it is intended to give an interpretation of the changing light reflected or given off by the moon. The slats are high quality cast plastic and can be altered to give different lights. They are mounted on a chrome base which also gives lovely reflections. If you can position this lamp in a window or where the sun visits it gives a great display.The bulb is a bayonet holder and the wiring is fine.The light is in near perfect condition and looks really good in any type of style room but particularly in the modernist style.

Vtg GENUINE Turner 24" SATURN RING Modern SPACE AGE Bubble Mirror PANTON Op Art
Hello! Here’s a vintage genuine Turner“Saturn Ring” plexiglass and aluminum or brushed steel framed mid-century modern atomic era convex round bubble mirror. Which measures 24” actually 23-7/8” square. The original stock tag is still affixed to the pressed wood backing, and is visible in the last photo. It is in very good condition for a piece that has been moved around for years- there are areas of light scratching and scuffing of the plexi glass present. Which is common to these pieces. One very small bubble in the backside finish is present which is barely noticeable, but does deserve mention. No other areas of the chrome are damaged, chipped, or cracking. The mirror displays well, and the scratches are not that noticeable unless close up. Also. There may be some light scratching on the frame in spots. Overall, this rare piece has no real ... moreissues unless you are the particular type, and are seeking a“perfect” item. Most all the other examples I have seen online have these same problems(and more) unless they were purchased and hung in one place since new. Danish Norwegian Ekstrem Chair For Stokke Modernist Space Age Panton Era
A very unusual and rare Ekstrem chair from 1984 in excellent original vintage condition. The chair has a metal tubular frame with foam cover which is all still very soft and comfortable. The chair unclips in the centre into 2 parts. This design accommodates various seating positions. The blue stretch cover has a couple of small holes at the back and has frayed along the joint underneath as shown which could easily be stitched together if desired. The artist is Katsuji Wakisaka. The print is named"Piano" and was introduced by Marimekko in 1972. Only part of the labeling that was printed on the selvage edge is visible. I am assuming whomever framed it chose the piece by what they wanted to see on the wall versus the printing on the non-visible part. It appears to be on the original frame and it is quite large(55 inches X 38 inches) It is definitely a statement piece. The great ... morething about this particular print is you can hang it in any direction depending on your space and preference. The colors are black. Brown, rust, orange and off-white. I included a picture of the hanging against my light beige carpet next to a bright white piece of milk glass and a yellow& cream plate so you can get an idea of the shade. It is somewhere between white and cream. Overall, this piece is in very good condition. There is mild smudging and a couple spots along the back side of the frame consistent with age(unseen when hanging) and I found a couple spots on the main portion(pictured in the two close-ups that are mostly white) I did not try to clean it. There is no fading, rips, holes tears etc. Please see all the pics! Pair of Articulating Eames Panton Era Table Lamps Chrome Ball and Lucite Base
Up for bid is this cool pair of Mid Century table lamps. Unmarked as to manufacturer. But my best guess is Lightolier. These have a lucite base topped with a chrome ball. The rod holding the shade is attached to the vertical rod and is adjustable up and down and to different angles. The shades are spun aluminum, painted white inside and a portion of the outside. The lucite base is 1" thick and 7" diameter, the chrome ball is 3" diameter, and the shade is about 3-5/8" diameter. Maximum height is about 24" This is a Papal only auction. From my personal collection I am selling my HUGE Space Age Lucite Tower Floor Lamp. Lamp is NOT currently wired for use. I bought this lamp with intentions of rewiring in LED's for a quite stunning modern display. This lamp consist of 5 columns and reaches a total height of 60 inches and the base is 36 inches x 36 inches. It is a rather large and stunning piece. It really needs alot of room to display well. I am simply cleaning out some of my modern items and there is nothing wrong with the lamp. It just needs to be wired. It is a very clean and well made piece. Not cheap. Vintage Harmony House Flowerpot Lamp like Panton Flower Pot
For auction: Pair of Harmony House Flowerpot Pendant Ceiling lamps. Harmony House was a home decor brand for Sears. Roebuck that existed for decades up until the early 70's. Often the company offered their own version of popular decor items-in this case, a lamp copied from the very successful Panton Flower Pot lamp of the late 60's. That said, this is still a nicely manufactured item(USA) made entirely of steel with an orange enamel exterior. These lamps are meant to be hard wired, and included are the original brackets and hardware. Please note that the white hanging cord is also original and over time the wire casing has stiffened. Condition is noted in the photos-some chipping on the edge of one of the smaller hemispheres, on the wire hangers that hold those hemispheres, and a barely perceptible dent the size of a dime on one smaller ... morehemisphere. Overall I would call the condition Good to Very Good and have no problem supplying additional photos upon request. Solidly constructed at a time when even Sears, Roebuck manufactured domestically.

GPO BT Snowdon Phoenix 722 Trimphone Telephone Vintage Phone Eames Era Panton
This is a fully working original and more sought after 1982 BT/ GPO Snowdon Range or Phoenix Trimphone in the desirable and contemporary two tone brown/ cream colour. On the base it is marked. TELE 8722G B.T. QC/CCF BATCH SAMPLED FWR 82 for 1982, so this telephone is now 31 years old. The case and handset have been cleaned and polished thoroughly and have come up very good, with the usual marks and scratches from careful use over the years but hardly noticable, please see the pictures. There is only minor discolouration here and there but overall this phone is a very good, clean working example. There is one small minor crack on the top edge of the handset, however it is barely noticable and looks more llike a small scratch please see picture 10. The curly cream handset cord has been thoroughly cleaned, has no twists and is tight and not ... morestretched like some. The line cord has also been thoroughly cleaned and is a very good length, making it a very practical telephone. I have removed and cleaned the dial and the number plate. The rotary dial is working well. Nice and smooth and it has the original clear plastic centre cover intact. It retains its vintage original paper label for, Cambridge 871441' Speech is very clear and the warble ringer is working very well in the'loud' and'soft' positions on the plastic dial at the base. The four rubber feet are in very good condition. Due to its rarity. This example overall would grace any telephone collection nicely or just for everyday use as these telephones will outlast any modern replica It is fitted with a standard BT plug so it is ready to use straight away with any landline that supports pulse dialling. Phones that use pulse dialling are compatible with most cable networks in that they will still accept incoming calls but will not dial out. So please be aware if your telephone line has pulse and tone dialling. I tested this phone on a BT and Virgin line without any problems even calling mobile phones. This is a beautiful. Fully working and converted 1970's BT/ GPO 746 telephone in the very popular, desirable and contemporary glossy black colour. On the base it is marked, 746F GEN 74/1 for 1974, so it is now 39 years old. It was manufactured by G.E.C. The General Electric Co Ltd of England) I have removed the case. The mouth piece, the ear piece, dial outer ring and blanking button on top and cleaned and polished them thoroughly, including careful removal and cleaning of the dial and the number plate, the casing and handset have come up good, with the usual usage marks/ scratches for the age, remember this isn't a brand new item. There are no splits or cracks to the black plastic and no obvious signs of discolouration. Overall. This example would grace any telephone collection nicely or just for everyday use as these telephones ... morewill outlast any modern replica. The original clear plastic centre disc is in place and retains one of my very good quality paper disc for'Park Lane 2984' The dial is very smooth and the curly black handset cable has been thoroughly cleaned, has no twists and is tight and not stretched.
