This item is listed as LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I am located in Glendora about 35 East of Downtown Los Angeles off the Pasadena 210 freeway. Featured in this auction is a great vintage Mid Century free standing metal bird cage with metal hair pin legs. This piece is in good condition and shows well, the cage itself has a brass finish in good condition, the legs are metal and are in good condition, the removeable platic bottom tray is in good condition with no cracks, the removeable black metal top shows well but does have a few dents on the edge, the cage has access through a small sliding door on the side of the cage. This style is often called: Atomic, Bio-morphic, Amoeba, Free Form, Kidney Bean, Boomerang and Eames style. I believe this was made approximately in the 1940's, 1950's or 1960's(at the latest) I know the Hair-Pin legs were first designed in the 1940's which is why I believe it could be that old. In any case, this is a very unique and quite intriguing coffee table. It measures approximately 10 inches high, 36 inches long, and 23 inches wide. The solid steel(I believe they are steel) Hairpin legs have some slight oxidization which in not very noticeable. The bottom of the table shows some ware/scratches and small light chipping. But the top seems to be in ... morereally nice shape! I didn't notice any major flaws! It is extremely gorgeous and I have never seen a table quite like this one! I plan to unscrew the legs from the bottom for the shipping process. If you wish for me to ship as is and NOT unscrew the legs, please let me know and I will adjust the dimensions and shipping price. Please consider this set of 4 iron shelf frames. My uncle had these in his home in the 1950's. They are made of 1/2" solid iron rods. Bent and welded into frames to hold shelves. I am not including the wood shelves due to some being missing and added shipping cost. Any type of shelves will work if they are less than 10" wide. You are considering the barrel slide table. I constructed this table from salvage mid-century. Hairpin legs and an antique barrel slide off a delivery truck/wagon. The slide is made of wood with iron/steel ends. It definitely shows its age with part of the wood being soft in a few spots. The table is solid. I then had tempered glass cut to fit leaving the iron ends of the barrel slide exposed. It is definitely a"one of a kind" table. You see it in my wife's spa/salon, but at home I think it would be a sofa table. I will not ship this table due to size and weight. I may deliver it a short distance for a fee. Cast Iron & Rubber OOAK Vtg Machine Age Steampunk Stool Vanity Hairpin Legs MCM
This is a very interesting stool that was likely home made years ago and possibly one of a kind. It is iron and steel with hardwood sandwiched between an iron plate and very heavy duty resilient rubber seat surface. Thick cast iron legs with hard rubber tips are bolted into the bottom plate that is layered with a wooden slab and topped with a heavy rubber plate with no cracks or breaks. It measures 27" high. 15.5" to the seat which is 12" square. Very good condition with paint wear but very very sturdy and heavy at 25 lbs. Thank you!

Vintage Mid Century Occasional Side Tables Iron Hairpin Legs Retro Modern
This is a great matching pair of original mid-century modern side tables with iron hairpin legs. The tops are formica in a speckled print in gold. Cream and bronze. The table legs are wearing original bronze paint. These tables are sturdy and in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. There is some minor chipping of the paint on the legs and a small bit of rust on the bottom of the feet but this in no way takes from the awesomeness of these tables. Vinyl tubing for hairpin legs
6" piece of vinyl tubing that easily cuts with scissors to your desired length. I get a lot of requests for ideas for softening the contact point of hairpin legs to sensitive flooring. I was inspecting my rubber motorcycle tire which has a small contact point too. And it occurred to me that vinyl tubing would do the trick for hairpin legs. I have used band-aids and pieces of felt on my own hairpin legs, but they attracted too many dust bunnies and tend to migrate off the contact point. The vinyl seems to be the best solution. You can buy this tubing at almost any hardware store, the problem is that they want to sell you far more than you will ever need for about nine dollars. If your luckier, you can find a place that sells it by measurement, or you can let me buy the larger rolls and sell you 6" inches of it for $3.00. NEW Set of six (6) Hairpin Furniture Legs 4"
These are unused legs leftover from a discontinued line of large clothes dresser. I don’t know exactly what the material is but it is a quality steel given the hardness and finish. The surface is shiny but not polished as in a mirror finish. Measured vertically from base to plastic button the height is 4 inches. The base plate measures 1 3/4" by 3 7/8" I judge them to have about a ten degree angle. The 5/16" rod is welded to the base plate by three tacks at each rod end instead of being welded 360° around. They unfailingly supported the dresser during its production period and will likely hold upwards of 300+ lbs or more when attached to a solid surface with suitable fasteners(not included) I've sold hundreds these over the past months and buyers have used them on beds. Tables, shelving units, desks, trunks, wooden ... moreboxes, and even couches and chairs. Please note that you want to order a quantity of 1 in order to get six legs.
