This great looking piece was designed by Illum Wikkelso and is marked Made in Denmark on the underside of the frame as pictured. The whimsical circular form looks great from all angles and is a pleasure to sit in. This chair does have some wear to the frame and rope seat and is being sold in as found condition for use as-is or for restoration. The frame has a minor split on the top of the left front leg(see picture 3) the rope seat has some minor soiling and a few breaks that have been glued or stapled back as pictured. This chair measures 27" tall to the back and is 32" wide by 27" deep with a seat height of 14" Please email with any questions. solid teak legs(dark red to brown)base excellant condition. Age appropriate wear(1950-1960s) appears to have orginal upholstery in good condition. There are some small staples holes underneath where someone had covered the orginal material with another material. Strong enough to sit on as a stool or use for a foot stool. 21 3/8 inches by 15 by 17 in high. These are in wonderful condition. And very rare design. The material is yellow tweed no holes or wear. There is a visable mark on the underside wood where the orginal label was of the manufacture. These are a rare sculptured wood find in beautiful condition.

1960s Danish Modern Teak Sofa Great solid teak sofa with strong graining. Eight legs and sculptural arms. The wood frame is in good condtion showing normal nicks. Dings and scratches consistent with its vintage age. Strong. Solid and sturdy-holding its occupents with ease. The cushions have newer upholstery done in the last year or so. They hold their shape well and are very comfortable to sit on. There are no rips. Tears or funny smells but they are a little dirty. Kay Bojesen early nutcracker danish 1930s design - finn juhl era
Kay Bojesen- early nutcracker in beech wood A very early and rare exampel of the danish wood-design-master Kay Bojesen work. Organically shaped nutcracker depicting the danish primeminister Thorvald Stauning(1924-26 and 1929-42) The nutcracker was designed in 1932 and was made for a decade or so. It is made out of solid hand carved beech wood and assembled with one piece of brass. There are some minor wear and tear to that part of the mouth where the nuts have been cracked. Meassurements: Lengh: 21 cm. Weight: approx: 400 gr. This piece originally came with a sticker saying: Kay Bojesen- Eneret. I have never seen an example with the sticker still on- they wear of during the course of 80 years. Mid Century Danish Modern Dresser Credenza Drexel Style of Finn Juhl
This is a great dresser that I believe to have been made by Drexel in the style of some of Finn Juhl's pieces. It has 4 large center drawers and 8 smaller ones. Four on either side. The two panels on the front both slide smoothly for access to either the side or center drawers. This would be an amazing piece for a flat screen TV or as a dresser. Each of the drawers has the same smooth curve on the upper and lower which is very similar to the ones designed by Finn Juhl. This piece has a couple small issues. There are a couple scratches on the top as seen in pics#7-9. If you look very closely. You can see a very small piece of laminate missing on the bottom left side. Other than those minor issues, this is an amazingly solid and great looking piece. Five good original condition Arne Vodder Danish Modern dining chairs. Solid teak(or walnut? frames with burnt orange wool seats. The fabric appears to be original and is in good shape. The foam seat and wicker backs and also in good condition. No tears or breaks. Four armless chairs and one with armchair, the armchair is missing the backrest, see last photo. The backs pivot and are easily interchangeable. The joints are strong and tight, one joint shows slight movement. Overall very good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Arne Vodder apprenticed with and became partners with Finn Juhl, who along with Hans Wegner was a leader in Danish Modernism.
