Pair of dog heads on base with adjustable hood on art deco desk lamp. Base is about 6 X 4 inches with dog's head's about four inches tall. Total height to hood top is about 11 inches tall. Lamp works well but some of the metal on lamp back looks to be missing although not too noticeable from front. The base and dogs are one casting of white metal with bronze finish. Non ferrous. Art Deco 1930's Metal Nude Lady w Red Glass on Marble Base - Frankart Era
Here's a stunning Art Deco nude lady metal statue on marble base from San Francisco Estate. Circa 1930. She is holding a round glass plate or disk. She can also hold a mirror. A ball, clock, etc. or she can be made into a lamp or she can display jewelry or other special items. She has many uses, and she is absolutely exquisite! This deco lady is in a kneeling position with one leg stretched behind her. She is has a wonderful deco hairdo with hair band and flowers, and both of her arms are up in the air. She is holding a round flat red glass plate or disk. The deco lady is made of some kind of metal with a gold finish- a magnet will not stick to her. The round plate is made of dark red glass with one smooth side and one textured side(see picture) The base is made of two pieces of marble- white over black with beiges and brown marbling. ... moreVery striking. The overall measurement is 15" long, 4" wide, and 11-1/2" tall. The glass plate measures 5-1/2" wide and 1/4" thick. It fits nicely in the two slots on the inside of the lady's hands(see picture) There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but she is quality. The condition is amazingly very good except one large chip on one corner of the marble base and maybe a few normal nicks on the edges(see picture) There are no chips, breaks or repairs on the nude lady statue or the glass plate. They are in excellent condition. The lady is bolted to the base, and there is green felt on the bottom to protect your furniture. She is quite heavy, and weighs approx 10 lbs. The estimated value was $450.00 to $650.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $175.00. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. Here's a stunning Art Deco 1920's flapper"nude lady holding tray" metal statue from San Francisco Estate. We don't who the maker is. But she looks a lot like a Frankart or Nuart statue. This wonderful deco lady has a curly 1920's hairdo, a beautiful face, and is standing on a stairstep base with swirls around her feet, she is slightly bending backwards with both arms in front of her and holding a metal tray, which can be used to hold an asntray, or business cards, or a bowl for change, flowers, candy, jewelry, etc. She has many uses, and she is truly exquisite! She is made of some kind of metal with a satin black finish- a magnet will not stick to her. The overall measurement is9" tall and 4-1/8" wide at bottom. VINTAGE METAL ART DECO LADY HOLDING ASHTRAY FIGURE - FRANKART NUART STYLE
This terrific vintage piece is reminiscent of the Frankart or Nuart ladies of the Art Deco era. It depicts a nude woman. With cropped hair, holding a round tray and standing on a base that reminds me of the top of the Empire State building in New York. This piece appears to be made of white metal which has been painted black(brown tinge in some areas) and measures 8 6/8" tall and is 3 3/4" wide at the base. This piece has terrific lines and is in good condition with no damages that I can detect with the exception of some minor wear to the surface paint and a few spots of white paint. The paint seems to have been put on a bit thick and consequently the lines of the piece are not as defined as they might be if the paint was applied thinner. Antique Art Deco Frankart Nude Female Cigarette Holder Stand and Box This example is in very nice overall condition considering its age. The paint is all Nile Green and original. There are minor nicks in the paint on the base and some paint loss on the heads of the figures. You can see these areas quite well in the photos especially if you use the zoom feature. These areas are minor and the piece still shows beautifully. This is a heavy metal figure that weighs about 5 1/2 pounds before packing and stands 9 1/2" tall. The cigarette holder box is vaseline glass which glows under a black light- see photos. The box originally had a lid but that lid is missing from this piece. The glass is in excellent condition- there aren't any cracks or chips- just a few flaws in the glass that are normal to depression era glass. As Frankart collectors ... moreknow this is an unsigned piece and is very hard to find. Will be packed with lots of bubble wrap with the ashtray and cigarette holder individually bubble wrapped. I have for auction a beautiful Frankart model L-206 lamp. It comes complete with an original 6 inch Candalite bulb. As a bonus. The lamp also comes with a Sarsaparilla candlebulb that can be used with the lamp(brand-new old-stock with its box, a $25 value) The lamp is signed on the back © FRANKART L.206. The overall height with the candlebulb is about 10 inches. The lamp was professionally rewired. With the wiring and socket replaced for safety. The lamp has been professionally refinished in the Frankart Nile Green color. The lamp is in very good condition with just some minor scratches here and there. The candlebulb does have a few scratches but is fully functional and in much better condition than those I have seen in the past. This lamp would be a wonderful addition to a Frankart collection. Sarsaparilla bought the original Frankart molds and licensing rights to recreate these wonderful lamps. They must have left or not fully removed the original Frankart markings from the original mold and that's what you see on the base of the pedestal. It is made of aluminum. A rare art deco nude Frankart figural boudoir lamp# L201. An original spelter metal machine age in design aesthetic lamp. It is thought the figural piece to be Arthur Von Frankenberg in design. This is from the period of the early 1930's when The Great Depression and company infighting led Arthur Von Frankenberg to lose control of his Frankart company. This then lead to the quick demise of the company as his design and vision was what the public loved about Frankart manufacture. His remaining spelter metal figures were used and historians have speculated that the figural elements on several unmarked examples were indeed designed by Arthur Von Frankenberg. It is in very fine condition and fully working. Sometime in its life it was refinished and rewired and looks like it has the original bulb socket. This is a wonderful antique 1920's Art Deco figural nude table lamp. It is in good working condition. The paint is original and in very fine condition. When it is lit it is simply spectacular! It has the original cord thst works well. Lamp measures 8 inches across and 7 3/4 inches tall. This glass globe is perfect with no chips. Photographs show the date at the bottom of the lamp. Pat. 11-23-26 making it 85 years old. The nude shows spots of rubbed patina loss but she is completely authentic in the original unrestored condition unlike others sold on eBay that have been painted for a solid look. Very heavy metal. There is no reserve on this fabulous pair(2) of original Art Deco Frankart Cocker Spaniel Dog metal bookends from San Francisco Estate- Signed. These cool bookends were made by Frankart Inc. New York, N.Y. Circa 1934. The Frankart products are original works of art conceived and designed in the Frankart Studio by Arthur von Frankenberg. These wonderful deco dogs have the unique flowing design of the Art Deco Era. They are made of some kind of metal with a gold finish- a magnet will not stick to them. The overall measurement is 7-1/4" long, 5-1/2" tall, and 3-1/2" wide. The condition is amazingly very good. One bookend is perfect, and the other bookend has two cracks(see picture) The good bookend has no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
