Up for auction is a Vintage Danish Modern Midcentury Round Coffee Table, an original that belonged to my uncle. It has 3 legs which screw on and off. Part of the metal screw apparatus shows on the top of the table, a nice detail. I do not see any markings on this table. Measuresments: 17 1/4" high X 39 1/4" in diameter, It is in excellent condition except for 3 things: a small scratch on top(picture#7) A"mar" on top(picture#5) and a"rubbing" mark on the underside edge(picture#6) not bad for its ripe old age. This table is structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The table top does show some wear with nicks. Dents and scratches- with a few ring marks with light and dark spots. Mid Century modern Danish teak coffee table by Trioh of Denmark is in fantastic condition with very little signs of wear/ use. You would be hard pressed to find an item of this vintage in better shape. These are almost always missing some of the cane work on the lower shelf. But this has 100% of the original cane work! There is one piece of cane that has detached from frame, but is all there(see photo) Also, there seems to be a small crack where the shelf connects to the frame, which has no effect on either the aesthetic or structural quality of this fine piece. Table measures 59" by 20 1/2" by 16 1/2" high. Overall, this is about as good as it gets! We have replaced our sofa/ loveseat with new oversized ones, so this table no longer fits our living room, so it will sell with NO RESERVE! This is a vintage Danish Mid Century modern coffee table designed by Peter Hvidt. C. 1950's. They often come in a set of six to be arranged in various layouts. I do not know if these were ever sold separately but I found this one all by itself lonesome a few years back. Could be used as a low end/ coffee table, or if you have the others make them part of a set. This is not signed as I have seen some other examples posted online which were sold& labeled by France& Son, but this is unmistakeably made with same measurements& materials. The base legs and mounting plates will be care fully removed from the table top(the table top is just too expensive to ship and I have had interest in just the legs) It was likely designed by Kipp Stewart or Barney Flagg. It is very well made of both solid teak and teak veneer and just look at those legs. Yup, I told you, its terrific! The table features 3 separate areas of storage and function.and that does not include top surface. There are two"pass thru" drawers perfect for remote controls and other items you want tucked away. Both sides of these drawers are fully finished with sleek sculptural handles that allow you to pull them out from either side. They"click" into place via spring ... moresteel bearing on one end of the table. In between the two drawers is a long storage shelf also accessible from both sides of the table making it perfect for magazines. Books, newspapers etc. WOW.now that is a lot of function. The design is finished off with the most amazing sculptural legs which will be removed for safer and more compact shipping. measurements Overall 60" by 20 3/4" deep by 20.75" high. Drawer interiors are each 8 3/4" by 16 1/4" by 1 5/8" high. Shelf area is 25 1/4" by 18" by 2 7/8" high. condition Overall excellent. All original and presents itself wonderfully. Top has some minor light finish wear here and there one would expect from normal use including a faint circular water mark. There is some wood chipping on one of the drawer inner body sides, The top surface also has a very very subtle upward bow to its shape. Set of four Dansette Type 1960-70s Tapered Coffee Table legs with shamfered ends. Mid-coloured hardwood. In good used condition with light knocks and bumps from normal use. Length excluding threaded bolt is 41cm inches. Diameter at top of leg is 30mm. These have 17mm threads(longer than average) so will fit the internal brackets found on some furniture.

I inherited the contents of my parent's Brooklyn Heights estate a number of years ago. It represented over 90 years of eclectic collecting from my grandparents and aunt to my parents. I have been selling their jewelry. Decoratives and art collections for a few years and will continue to do so but now we are moving and downsizing. In the next few weeks I will be listing some fine Fantoni, Gambine, Capron and Ackerman pieces, mid-century Italian glass, lighting, victorian, art deco and mid-century decoratives and some exceptional pieces like an Osvaldo Borsoni dining room table, Saarinen chairs for Knoll, Milo Baughman and more. I have had the great pleasure of living with and enjoying these pieces over the years. I grew up with this teak bench or coffee table. It is stamped on the back"Fabian" Made in Denmark. It is in decent ... morevintage condition. The top is beautiful and unmarked but the legs show some wear and probably a good cleaning with teak oil will spruce up the table beautifully. However. On one corner there is a chip at the edge(see photo) and if you turn the table around there is a small crack on another edge. There are 3 cushions with zippers. The cushions are in excellent condition. I don't think they are leather but it is hard for me to tell. The legs could use tigthening for there is small movement when you sit or shake it. Bottom line is that this signed teak bench has great style(I prefer it as a coffee table) but needs some work. Measurements: 61 1/2" long x 19 1/2" wide x 15 1/2" high. Danish Modern Coffee Table Kofod-Larsen for Selig This is a very nice example of a Danish Modern Teak coffee table in excellent original condition. It was produced by Kofod-Larsen for Selig in Denmark. The tray edge molding terminates 2 1/2" from each corner. The restored original finish is in excellent condition. And there is no structural damage or repairs evident. A couple light stains are visible upon very close inspection, but are not noticeable, and do not detract from the aesthetics. I will take daylight pics tomorrow to see if they can be seen in photos. The legs have machine-threaded posts and screw into machine-threaded receivers in the table bottom(pictured) so the legs can be removed for safe packing and shipping. The dimensions are: 32" square. Table was designed by John Keal for Brown& Saltman. The table has a very distinct match book walnut top and solid wood legs. The brass and enameled plate is Made in Italy and did not come with this table that we know of but looks like its a perfect piece for it; the original chrome coffee warmer insert has long been lost but plastic insert is still intact. This is a beautiful Walnut table with no real fading does have light chip on edge as noted in photos. This is a vintage item and does show light signs of age and wear.
