It is in good and sound condition with the normal wear one finds on fishing floats that have survived years in the ocean. The float is beautiful unusual moss green color. This is a heavy ironstone platter, weighing almost 3 1/2 lbs. It is in excellent condition with no chips or damage. But does show some amount of wear. Offered here is my pretty and quite interesting salt glazed syrup jug from the Aesthetic Movement that I purchased in a Kansas City shop about 25 years ago. The molded design. Which is over a stippled or pitted textured background, of fish, lattice roping and points with dainty dots at each end of them intrigued me and has made a nice addition to my very eclectic collection of“Things” that I never really used, except for display in my dining room cabinet. up for sale is a beautiful aesthetic movement silver plated alice cup from traverse city. the cup came from the home of the munnson family estate it has a cashed flowerel scene engraved around the entire cup surface as well as three raised animals" a frog. Fly, and lizard" there are also some flowers that are raised off the cup but not quite as far as the animals. with a raised rope effect along the top and bottom of the flowerel scene it features the name Alice engraved along the bottom rim of the cup. the underneath of the cup is stamped with two hammers that cross one another and is stated that it is replated 6/14 and item number 386 all other words i cant make out. the inside of the cup shows some tarnish but not to bad. the cup measures 3 1/4" tall by 4" wide thanks for looking!

This is a beautiful example of a Victorian Wall Box. The design. Paint, and construction are typical of the mid to late 19 th Century. All the hand work is beautifully done and although over 100 years old the piece retains some of its original red paint. The dish is designed with a leafy lotus strap work and three gilt fu for good luck. The gilt dish rim is flared at the sides. Slowly rising about an inch. The enamel is applied freely over the bowl to create the setting for the lotus and vine's pattern that is inside. The bowl has an unglazed foot rim, and the bowl's reverse has three iron-red flying bats. You are viewing a charming continental Aesthetic Movement antique chamberstick. I am offering it at no reserve with a low opening bid. I would estimate it was made some time between 1870 and 1880. It has elements of the Japanesque. Especially on the ceramic decoration which comprises a fan with a blow fish and two other fish. The body is bronze, and the thumb piece is cast in a grotesque mask; the tripod feet are cast as stylized lion faces. I believe it was made in France, possibly Sarreguemines, although it could be English: the impressed half moon is a Minton's date cypher. It is approximately 7 1/2 inches in length and 3 inches tall. It is in good condition, having a lovely dark chocolate patina to the bronze. Some wear to the gilded rim of the ceramic pan; overall minor wear and tear from handling over time. The piece was made by the Minton pottery who were a forerunner in the Decorative Arts and style. The condition of the piece is good with very little damage- but please note there is some age related crazing. And the odd surface mark or knock- but no significant damages. Lovely antique opal decorated vase with enameled flowers. Leaves& berries. The delicately hand painted pattern is edged with fine gold lines. The top of the vase is a fan shape lightly crimped in the middle. There is applied amber rigaree circling the vase and an applied amber top edge. The top inside 1/2 of the vase is cased with a pink glass. There is a ground pontil on the base. I believe this vase is probably of British origin, possibly Stevens and Williams. Circa late 1800's. first let me make it clear that I am no expert in teapots but from looking at other teapots just like mine.This one could be as old as the late 1800's or could be a reproduction I suppose.it is clearly marked Copeland on bottom& there is a raised R, that I assume is registry.it is decorated with birds& bamboo.I believe the top is pewter.it is in great vintage condition.there are a few dark spots on it& the last photo shows inside the spout that feels rough although I see no cracks chips or breaks.we are a smoke free home.

Antique EW Turn Wein Figure Depose Porcelian c1890 Austria
A very interesting Austrian Porcelain piece by Turn Wein. This figure stands about 7 inches tall and is hand painted with a very nice patina from age. I believe the leaves on her head wreath were once more complete and taller originally and there is a small chip near the bottom of the base which is barely visible. The entire piece is aged well and displays beautifully even with the damaged areas. I think this piece is from the late 19th century. It has the Crown Mark inside as well. Wash basin and pitcher set made by George Jones& Sons in an Aesthetic Movement pattern. Basin is in good condition with a small manufacturing flaw on the rim as shown. It appears to be a spot created by touching another peice in the kiln. Pitcher had the top broken off at one time. The break was at the shoulder as shown and the handle came off with it. Having been broken off near the bottom.also as shown. It still displays well and the reattchment it strong. After 1871. Basin is 15 1/2" dia. Pitcher is about 11 1/32" tall. Here's a heavy quadruple plate metal creamer engraved"Washington House" This is a wonderful little piece of history! It's marked on the bottom with scripted letters"S&C" inside a circle of leaves like a wreath. underneath that. It has the words"quadruple plate" the numbers"8 5" and then" 4 POR" I don't know what all those markings mean. Quadruple plate was common during the late 1800's and early 1900's. The handle and spout look like they could be made from a different metal composition as they have a rougher surface. A pretty Victorian large bird brooch, Aesthetic style, believed silver
Here is an unusual Victorian era brooch in the Aesthetic style. Engraved with a bird and branch design, along with a pattern to one side. The brooch is not hallmarked as a lot of these small silver items were not. For some reason, in this era- but the design is very much in the 1890-1900 style. It has the look of the"Aesthetic" movement, when designs were becoming less fussy and more modern looking than in the previous decades. It still has what looks like its original pin and C-clasp fitting to the reverse and is fully fuctional. Condition is very good for its age- with just some very light tarnish. The brooch is quite large and measures 1.75 inches(4 cm) across the width. A nicely detailed item. Antique French Bronze Champleve Enamel TAZZA Candlestick Egyptian Aesthetic Mvmt
You are viewing an antique French champleve enamel on bronze tazza with a single candlestick. It is one of two pieces of enameled bronze I have for sale this week. It is decorated in the Aesthetic Movement taste of the late 19th Century and was probably made some time around 1880. It has elements of Egyptian Revival and Classical Revival. Both tazza and stand have a Greek key border and an archaic style. The main colors of enamel are light blue and navy blue interspersed with green. Red, and white. The candlestick is sectional and breaks down to at least six separate pieces. The ornament stands approximately 10 1/2 inches tall and is approximately 4 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest point. It is in generally good condition with some scratching and missing enamel, notably where the base attaches to the central column.
