This is a'SECONDARY' or'REGULATED' device-with an electro-mechanical device that advances the hands in discrete 1 minute intervals when sent a 1.5 Volt DC signal from a"REGULATOR" clock. Made in U.S.A. This type of clock was used in Universities. Railroad stations, and Factories to allow one central'regulator' clock to keep time, and send the appropriate pulse over wires to the slave units. When operating correctly all the clocks in that facility will remain exactly coordinated, and accurate as the accuracy of the regulator can achieve. Lovely solid oak case- Classic design with few frills. The reverse of the clock has a wood panel affixed with screws that keep ... morethe mechanism and electric portions of the clock protected. This is a BEAUTIFUL RARE AND EXCITING example of a very early Seth Thomas Miniature Empire Mantle Clock in OUTSTANDING condition. This one has the Lyre 30 hour time and strike movement and is signed(Seth Thomas. Plymouth, Conn. USA! and strikes the hours on the hour on a large gong. It was made circa the mid 1850s. It is an extremely classy all-original mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. This clock looks like it was cherished its entire life. This clock no doubt has had a prominent place in the house. This is one of the very early clocks made by The Seth Thomas Co. The founder of the Seth Thomas Clock Co. Seth Thomas and Thomas Hoadley were apprentices to the first American Clockmaker to use interchangeable parts. His name was Eli Terry. Eli Terry bought land for his first clock“factory” in 1799. Antique Crank Music Box with 6 Tin Discs with Celluloid Lid ~ Looks like a Book
OLD CRANK DISC MUSIC BOX This is a great old windup disc music box. The music box works by winding the crank on the top which turns the disc. The teeth from the comb catches on the piercings on the disc to make a sweet sound. As you can view on the photo of the comb. Several of the teeth are missing. The music box still sounds good. But of course, those notes are not playing. The music box is in working order other than the missing teeth. The case is a tightly grained hardwood box with a hinged lid. It is made to look similar to a very thick book. The top cover has a celluloid covering with graphics of a house and is adorned with vines. Violets and roses, butterflies and birds. The celluloid is in good condition for celluloid of this age. It has nice designs embossed in the long edge and diagonally at the 2 corners. There is canvas on the ... more2 corners and on the long edge to make it look like book binding. There is a small crank with a really nice turned wood handle which inserts through a hold in the lid. The interior of the box has a compartment to hold the 6 metal 4-1/2" discs that are included. The discs clamp over the comb and is driven by a small tooth gear as you crank. This is an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 100% ALL-ORIGINAL example of a Large Gustav Becker German Wall Clock in GREAT RUNNING AND GREAT LOOKING condition. German Wall clocks are of the highest quality. With Gustav Becker being one of the very best and most desirable of all German Makers. It was made in Germany circa 1910. The Gustav Becker clocks in our collection have not yet required any servicing and have kept perfect time for many, many years. This particular model is in beautiful original condition. It has a rare signed 8-day time and strike movement, which chimes the half-hour and counts the hours on a double gong(original) with a unique German clock sound in a double strike pattern. The movement is attached to its original seat board which slides out for easy adjustment and viewing, no need to take off the dial or hands. The movement is working ... moregreat and is signed. The movement runs very well and keeps good time. The movement was just cleaned. Oiled, pivots polished and bushings added where needed. This clock will not need servicing for many years to come. Antique Bisque Head Doll Marked 23 looks like SFBJ Bleuette in the face
Pretty bisque head doll with original human hair wig. She has beautiful blue sleep eyes. She is marked only 23. But greatly resembles the SFBJ and Unis France dolls. She measures about 20 inches high. Her head is in good condition. I do not see any hairlines but there is a small chip on the rim of her eye, see photo. I purchased her in 1997 from the Richard Withington Doll Auction in New Hampshire. I've always liked her and felt she also looks so much like Bleuette in the face. She was redressed many years ago but fully complete down to undergarments and shoes and socks and hat; I also believe antique fabrics were used in the making of her coat Please note: the white part you see on the back of the head is a small part of the paper side of the wig that had been glued on too tightly. There are remnants of glue around the head. Dates to ... more1900s-1920. I am not 100 percent certain the head and body belonged to each other originally. As I am studying the photos in the listing. It is something I had not noticed previously and am mentioning for accuracy in this listing. Please be the judge.

This listing is for a Sylvania SX-201-A vacuum tube with the trademark green leaf decal on the top. This tube has a tight engraved base and a nice appearance. This tube tests GOOD on my Knight tube tester as shown in the last photo. It also passed tests for shorts and leakage. Type 01A tubes were triodes with four-pin bases that appeared in the early 1920s and were the most common tube type in use during that decade. Spine has 5 raised bands. Some family pages have been filled. Foxing throughout. Worst is on the borders of illustrations, text pages not near as bad and very legible. This quilt was made in 1874 by my great. Great grandmother in Missouri. The border was replaced in the 1970's but the original border is still there under the newer one. Measures 66" x 79" The backing is homespun cotton. The condition is very good to excellent. No holes or tears but does have age spots and 3 blue ink marks(pictured) The name& date of the maker was embroidered on the back by my grandmother in the 1970's. Questions are welcome.

This is a 8 day transition style shelf clock made around the 1820s. Not sure who made it. The label is hard to read from being so old. Has it neat original feet! The dial is a correct replacement. The top glass is original with the original putty! The bottom glass was replaced some time ago. The veneer is in great condition and about 98% all there. The clock works perfectly and keeps very good time. It has an 8 day time and strike movement. Most all of these oldies are 30 hour movements. This clock when it was new had a 30 hour movement in it– this means that you had to wind it every day– it has been replaced with an 8 day time strike movement from 1876. Collectors have varying degrees of concern over this type of change, as it makes no difference in the operation of the clock itself, and in this case the clock now runs an entire 8 days. ... moreThis clock is now ready for the next 100 years! This is an EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL RARE AND EXCITING 100% ALL ORIGINAL example of a very early Seth Thomas Column and Cornice Mantle Clock in superior condition. It was made circa 1850. The 30 hour weight driven time and strike movement is and strikes the hours on the hour on a gong. It is an extremely classy mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. This clock is weight driven and not spring driven. Weights keep better time than springs as springs run slightly fast when they are first wound and lose power as they wind down and cause the clock to slow down somewhat before windings. The movement runs very well and keeps good time. Has its original dial and dial pan in superior condition. One of the most outstanding parts of this clock it has its original finish with a super antique patina that only comes from many years. Also has its wavy top ... moreglass and the near perfect original mirror. This clock looks like it was cherished its whole life. When electricity. Electric lights and electric clocks came to the area it was no doubt retired to the attic. The paper label is in great condition and says the clock was made in Plymouth Hollow, the town was renamed Thomaston in 1865 to honor Seth Thomas. This is one of the very early clocks made by Seth Thomas Sr. Founder of the Seth Thomas Clock Co. Seth Thomas and Thomas Hoadley were apprentices to the first American Clockmaker to use interchangeable parts. His name was Eli Terry. Eli Terry bought land for his first clock“factory” in 1799. After a few years of working with Eli Terry. Seth Thomas set off on his own and started the famous Seth Thomas Clock Company. His company was in the Seth Thomas family all the way until the 1960s. It flourished so well mainly due to the family making very high quality clocks. This clock is a perfect example. Up for bids is this Antique#914 Junghans Beehive Westminster Chime Clock in great looking and running condition. It runs for 8 days on one full wind and chimes on beautiful sounding chime rods every quarter hour and sounds a nice Cathedral Gong counting the hours. There are two separate strike mechanisms. On bottom left rear is the off-on switch for sleeping. There's a bezel lock on the left side for the heavy Brass Bezel with great beveled glass. The number 914 is on the rear of the heavy brass movement along with a"j" inside a star. The Beehive Bracket Case is a beautiful Mahogany with no real noticeable imperfections. This is an Absolutely Unbelievable SUPERIOR 100% All-Original 8 DAY(rare for a clock this early) LARGE DOUBLE DOOR ROSEWOOD OGEE mantle shelf clock made circa 1847. The Jerome Clock Company was one of the largest makers of clocks for a few years– then went out of business– was taken over by the New Haven Clock Co. in about 1850. This is the nicest. Cleanest; best condition all original clocks we have ever seen from the 1840s, or any other time for that matter! This clock has all of its original parts(rare- see pictures) Has the original top wavy glass, the original bottom tablet(painting) with wavy glass with the reverse picture which is all there, the original movement, original doors, door catches, the original back, the original great condition label and the original dial all in superior condition! Antique, rare carving set in case. Wood handles? Looks very old, 1900's??
This carving set looks to be quite old and is very different then other antique sets that I have seen. I cannot verify if the handles are wood. Bone or other. There are ABSOLUTELY NO markings anywhere, I have looked it over with a magnifying glass. It is in very good shape and there is no damage to the case or the pieces. I have tried to find out more about it but to no avail. This item is one of the antique objects I found in the attic of our historical home/inn that was built in 1782. There were hundreds of things left behind. I have a few of the pieces of antique jewelry listed also. I wish I could give more information regarding this set. But I just cannot seem to find anything. This is an Antique Victorian or Edwardian gf locket or spinner fob with the tigers eye carved into a cameo that looks like the inside picture of a lady! I don't know that this was something that an artist might do for a customer or if the stone was carved for the artist's personal'lady love' I suppose it could be a chance find. but it is quiet interesting and still in great condition. the opposite side is a black onyx stone. the hinge is in good shape and the locket snaps shut. This is a swivel type locket with intricate metal work. the locket still spins well. The inside has the double frames and glass inserts with a lovely lady's picture on one side. Up for bid here is a dark wood oval framed embroidery art piece that I believe was made by using needlepoint. It could be antique or vintage. I'm not sure since I just got it at an estate auction. The back of the frame in particular looks pretty old. I see a nick or two in the wood frame but the embroidery itself looks to be in very good condition. The embroidery is behind glass. As for size. I have never sold an antique doll before but here's what I know.she is a beautiful antique bisque head doll with leather body. She stands 15" tall. There are no identifying marks on her that I can see that would reveal what kind of doll she is but I've been told she might be Francois Gaultier. I know she is probably from the early 1900s. Her ears are pierced but there are no earrings. I am not sure if her hair is real. Her hair is short, which I'm told means she probably had a hat at one time; she has a cloth back of her head. Her body is white leather and the right hand is damaged. Her dress seems a little big and needs some repair work. If you can help me with any information that would be great. She is wearing a brown dress with hooks and eyes to close. The top and skirt are in need of repair. She has a white slip and ... morewhite bloomers which are in better condition. The shoes are great. The time is adjusted on the dial near the number 12(using the small end of the double ended key) The metal(brass) around the dial is heavy solid brass. Original which is beautiful and has aged to a beautiful patina. The original heavy bevel glass is on the front ... moredoor– which still is tight and the catch works like new. The back door is original. With its original catch to keep it closed. Complete with the original Ansonia adjustable pendulum(rare! and the original key! The key is double ended– one end for adjusting the clock for slow and fast and the other for winding the clock. You can also adjust the clock for slow and fast on the pendulum– it's best to get it"in the ballpark" with the pendulum and fine tune it with the key! Runs super great with a wide pendulum swing and it chimes beautifully on a large cathedral gong. The movement runs very well and keeps good time. The movement was just cleaned. Oiled, pivots polished and bushings added where needed. This clock will not need servicing for many years to come. And is ready for the next 100 years! This is a labor intensive service, with many clockmakers charging 250.00 and up. We recommend having it oiled every 2 to 3 years to keep it in tip-top shape! With the purchase of this clock for an additional $ 2.25 we will include an oiler kit with a professional oiler loaded with enough oil to oil approximately 50 clocks with easy instructions so you could even do it yourself!

FORESTVILLE ANTIQUE OGEE MANTLE CLOCK 100% ALL ORIGINAL LOOKS & RUNS GREAT 1840
This is an EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL SUPERIOR example of a Forestville Clock Company VERY LARGE OGEE Mantle Clock in 100% ALL ORIGINAL condition. This clock is a real beauty! It is a very classy mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. It is quite old and made circa 1860. It has a 30 hour time and strike movement which counts the hours on the hour on a gong. The movement is clean and runs great. J C BROWN and the Forestville Clock Company is a rare maker and was known for making quality clocks. The Forestville Manufacturing Company was built by JC Brown; J. Goodrich; L. Walters; C. Boardman and W. Hills. Later. Their assets were purchased by JC Brown and in many years following it became the Sessions Clock Company. This large and impressive OG style clock includes the brass movement with the original cast iron weights. The label inside the case ... moreis nearly perfect and the painted dial is original and near perfect(has some slight flaking) The top and bottom glass are wavy and original. The top glass has seeds! The lower glass features a lovely pattern in very good condition(some flaking also) It is the original picture- rare. This is a beautiful and impressive clock for your mantle or wall shelf. The case is absolutely beautiful! The case is made of mahogany in near perfect all original condition. In fact the whole clock is beautiful. The original dial is crisp and beautiful and in great condition. Also most unusual for an ogee style clock to have the original dial. It has an adjustment for fast and slow on the original pendulum which can be turned at the bottom. See picture) Complete with a crank to wind it. Runs great! The clock measures 25 ¾ inches high, 4 ½ inches deep and 15 3/8 inches wide. This clock looks pretty much like it did when it was new– well over 150 years ago. This wonderful clock has its original paper label on the inside. The label is very readable with lots of information and directions. Antique Civil War 9th Plate Ambrotype Photo Well Dressed Man Looks Like Mr Hyde
Up for auction is an antique Civil War era 9th plate ambrotype of a well dressed man. I found a piece of paper behind the photo that reads"Taken Feb 1860" see picture#6. The image is clear and crisp and his cheeks are tinted red. The leather case is separated along the spine but there is very little wear to the leather and it is in good condition. The felt design opposite the image is in good condition also. He has a really scraggly uneven beard and to me he looks like some of the depictions of Mr Hyde(of Dr. Jekyll& Mr Hyde) I've seen in older movies.
