Both jars measure 18 inches tall x 11 inches wide. The lid is removable. This beautiful set of two jars features two Victorian Lovers portraits on either side. This set is made of costly Kaolin porcelain with a deep blue glaze finish. This wonderful vase has ornate handles that grace the sides and is loaded with heavy gold leaf and gold coin trim and designs. The jar is signed SEVRES. Vintage Porcelain 3-Footed Bowl Moriage & Gold Accents,Floral Scalloped Rim
This is a beautiful small porcelain serving bowl with scalloped. Ridged edges. It is off-white with a subtle blue glaze and sits on a 3 footed pedestal. Each bowl is hand-painted with pink roses& Green flowers and highlighted with gold and moriage beads. The gold trim and moriage are in excellent condition with little signs of aging. There is an indentation on the bottom of the bowl that is either a chip. Or flaw in the finish, but is on the underside of the bowl near the applied stand and is not visible.on display(See picture 5. Dimensions: 2 1/2" diameter at base flaring to 7" diameter from edge to edge at rim 2 3/4" high The only markings on the bowl are numbers: 7349F I think.

This antique serving bowl has pink roses on a white. Peach and green background with applied gold accents. The bowl inside is a cream color with roses in center and sprays of flowers around the ruffled edge. The plate is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The wear in the gold trim is commensurate with the age of the piece. The only identifying mark mark appears to be the number 40 on the bottom of the bowl. The bowl measures approximately 10 1/4" Wide x 3 1/4" deep.

A very lovely set of small Staffordshire bowls in the Floris Ligna pattern. A beautiful A esthetic Movement design of birds. Flowers,bamboo and diagonals. Each bowl measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter with a height of 1 inch. They are in excellent condition having no chips,cracks, hairlines or repairs. They do have little in the making stilt marks typical of all Staffordshire/transferware pieces one of which has a little rust color(see photo) and one is not quite as bright white as the others(a slight cream tint) hardly noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. The glaze is bright and clear. I don't think they could ever have been used.

John Maddock & Sons Staffordshire Potteries England Covered Dish
This small china oval bowl with cover is made in England by John Maddock& Son. It is really simple. All white, with a decorative docking fixture used as the handle. It is a very odd piece when compared with the rest of her collections. We do not know how she came to own it. The stamp closely resembles the one used in 1906. 5 1/2" length x 4 1/2" width x 4" depth.

ANTIQUE SALT/BUTTER CHINA PORCELAIN PATS - SCALLOPED W/ROSE FLORAL SET OF EIGHT
Salt/Butter Pats China- Porcelain- 1900s Scalloped with Gold Trim and Deep Pink Roses This set of eight(8) Salt/Butter Pats was used for dipping salt or butter to suit. These Pats were used by my great-grandmother around the turn of the century. So I was told. This salt/butter set is very delicate and petite with 12 scalloped edges trimmed in gold. Three deep pink roses with delicate white flowers and green leaves adorn each Pat. Each Pat is approximately 3 1/2" in width. The exact age of the set is not known. Brunt Jr. Co. East Liverpool. England. It dates to 1860-1877. Plain simple white ironstone with no embellishments or pattern. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is overall crazing to the finish and some age discoloration and spotting(please refer to photo# 6) which is not too excessive considering the age of this early piece of ironstone. There is one slight indentation in the ironstone which is from manufacutre because it has the original glaze covering it; please refer to photo# 7. Antique Porcelain MASTER NUT SERVING BOWL Bavaria Description Late 19th/early 20th century"china painting on porcelain" master nut bowl. Although the mark is covered up by the brown painting on the bottom. I am reasonably certain that the porcelain black is Bavaria made. Stands on four molded feet with roll over scalloped edge around the top. I love that the artist took the time and effort to paint the inside with a decorative motif as well. The colors are browns, greens, blues, yellows and white. The mold form is embossed around the feet. It does not have a gold rim, making it more appropriate for casual entertaining. The last photo shows a set of 6 nut plates/bowls that are from the same estate and for sale in another listing. They are compatible, but not identical. This listing is for the bowl ONLY. SIZE: Approximately 7 1/2" ... morex 6 3/4" x 3 7/8" deep. MARKS: Not visible. Likely one of the late 19th century Bavarian makers. CONDITION: Antique item. No significant problems. Rare Olive Commons Miami Florida Pottery Platinum Palm-Ware China Bon Bon
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Here for your consideration is this rare and lovely small white porcelain dish decorated in platinum and fired by Olive Commons of Miami Florida. This lovely little dish is 5.5" across at the handles and just over 5" the other way and just over 1" tall. Please look at the pictures and if you have questions. Please ask. Here is a little of the history of Platinum Palm-ware: In 1924. The couple moved to Miami and established the"House of Commons" in Coconut Grove, a studio where the artist created and sold her wares until the early 1960s. It was here she developed her"Platinum Palm Ware" This was an original product featuring her own special technique of using platinum to paint on china. She had her kiln in her studio and did all her own firing as well as the designing and ... moresketching. A"white heat" at 1.800 degrees was necessary to melt the glass of the china and fuse it with the applied platinum designs. During this firing process the metal base of the platinum was dissolved in various acids which burned away, leaving the metal with a permanent design and luster. Some pieces were done in reverse, the tropical motif being left in white with the background entirely of platinum. Whatever the combination, the gleaming silver color against the fine white china was striking. Its great advantage was that it would not tarnish, as silver and other metals applied to china were apt to do, but retained its platinum luster permanently. The dishes measure about 9 1/2 inches in all directions. The only condition issue is that each plate has a half inch rim crack. These are definately"in the making" as each plate has a crack in the same exact spot on the rim and the cracks are filled with the original firing glaze(see pics) Otherwise the shrimp dishes are in perfect condition Note: I purchase these while they were hanging on a wall for decoration. 1908-1915 Antique American Desden Pottery 12.5" Rose Floral Lusterware Bowl
Back in the early 1900's it was common for American pottery companies to try and copy the fine porcelain coming from Europe. This bowl is an example of that. The bowl was decorated in the highly popular Germany scallop design with hand painted roses and luster color added to the rim. The back stamp says"Dresden China" which again is an attempt to imitate the popular Germany porcelain makers name. The bowl is ironstone and does have some condition issues. There is a 1mm rim chip. A lot of rim gilding has wore off. There are some fine scratches and iron pit marks which have worked their way to the surface. There is also crazing which is common for ironstone of this age. No cracks or stains. Still a very nice bowl and interesting conversation piece.

Here is a hand painted German Bowl with a 1903- 1930 Green( JPF) Backstamp. The motif is a rose bouquet with a gold looping ribbon with bows and gold trim on the rim. It is 10 5/8" across the rim- 3" deep with a 5 1/2" base. There are no chips cracks or repairs on it and the hand painted roses and gold trim shows very little wear. 1920s Crown Devon Fieldings porcelain strawberry bowl. Made in England. The lovely bowl was from the Spring Pattern collection. The bowl is made in the shape of a vine leaf. It has lovely hand painted floral design. Four holes in the centre of the bowl. Rim is decorated in gold. The lovely big bowl has a bit of crazing and a small chip on the underside of the rim. This is a rare dessert bowl. Hand painted on Creamware Drab Porcelain by Thomas Lakin in the early 1800's. The design features a landscape with two structures. Edged with gilt scroll accents on sides which form slight handles. Verso has impression mark of“Drab Porcelain” and no other marks. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Dimensions: 10" x 7.5" x 1.5" Condition: Lower left corner repair with some loss. Hairline crack approx. 3" long rins from the rim to towards the center of the bottom lip. Shaded side of tower has small loss of enamel. Otherwise expected wear from a piece of this age.

Up for bid is this lovely two handled candy bowl. Measures in at a bit more than 7 inches wide including the handles by about 2 1/2 inches tall. Stands on a sizeable pedestal. This piece has a lot of gold design starting in the center with a star shaped design will raised gold beads and a leaf design in gold. Three large cartouche areas with hand painted mums of various colors along with shades of green leaves. A wide gold band with raised gold beadwork and moriage. In between these is the cobalt blue with hand painted scroll upon it. At the rim you can see that the sides are raised upward.in this area is bunches of the raised gold beads. At the rim you can see that it was designed not to be a smooth rim but it goes a ways and the an indentation. Goes smooth again, then another indentation.see photos.nicely done. The decoration goes on to ... morethe outside where the rim has a gold band, under it is more of the cobalt with gold scroll. At the very base is yet more of the cobalt and gold. The two handles are cobalt with some gold accenting. This piece is unmarked. Upon inspection, I cannot find any chips. cracks or repairs. In very good condition with some modest gold loss at primarily the high traffic areas such as the handles and rim. A very pretty piece.
