Beautiful antique c1899 German bisque piano doll- Blowing Kisses- It is 11.5cm(4.5" tall finely modeled with wonderful details. The doll is in very very good condition as you can see by the photos. In the 5th 7th& 8th photo you can see there's an indent in the shoulder which is quite common in early bisque pieces as there was often firing flaws. In the 8th photo I have tried to show a mark in the groin. The little black spots are paint which. I have not tried to remove. There is a photo of the markings however I do not know what they mean. I have tried to explain the faults if you need any more information please email me. This is a great opportunity to buy such a lovely original doll for the collector or someone who appreciates antique dolls.

19th Century Antique German Porcelain-Bisque Reindeer-Chariot Figural Planter!
1890's-1920's Reindeer~Chariot Planter German Bisque~measuring 8" length 3 1/2" width x 5 1/4" ht Etched on the frontside bottom edge~ Germany# 2142. Still in very good condition. But it does need to be cleaned, and there is a light surface"X" on the side of the chariot right below a tiny surface spot that appears to be rust? Also there are several tips of the antlers that are broken off, four on the left deer and one on the right side deer, hard to see and really does not detract from the beauty( see all pics) weight 1 lb 3 ozs.

Here's a BEAUTIFUL find from an estate purchase- I acquired these several years back. And am only just now finding it time to part with them. This pair is just. Well. stunning. No other word for it. They stand about 13.5 inches tall, big enough to make a great display statement, and the colors and paint are dreamtastic! Young man is holding a small french horn in one hand and a letter in the other; young lady appears to be reading a letter just received. Both are wonderfully outfitted in period regalia. With pastel mauves and blues and gilt/gold trim, both wearing the very fashionable bicorner European hats often seen in military parades. There are no date or manufacture stamps on these figures, ... morebut experience and research tell me they are European in origin, probably German, and most likely date to the early 20th or perhaps the late 19th century. Both have some faint pencil marks in the recessed areas of the bottoms, looks like initials and perhaps a date but too hard to read and I have no idea if that would be the mark of the original artist or a previous owner. Please know that I am extremely tough in grading my pottery. Porcelain and glassware: I've been collecting. 14" old antique bisque head composition German Armand Marseille DOLLY FACE doll
I am pleased to offer you this lovely old"well dressed" German bisque head doll with"Dolly Face" Incised on the back of her bisque head is" Armand Marseille. Germany, 390, A 2 M" Reference attributes to German maker Armand Marseille, 1880s to 1930. I do not know her past restoration history but will try to describe her with any flaws the best I can. Measures 14" tall being a bisque socket head on strung wooden composition body. Strung fine doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, legs and knees with all fingers intact. This body is"very" worn, shows re-paint on left lower leg, also on the body and arms. I see damage on the left side of her body(photo#9) a crack with a piece of composition missing at that area also with some past restoration. Doll is all together intact but may require some ... morerestorations. B eautiful face with fixed open brown glass eyes. Painted lashes around the eyes, brown brows and open mouth with upper teeth intact. I see two light paint rubs on the left cheek that I need to mention. There is a faint little dimple in her chin and lovely blush on her face. I removed the pate from her head to look for any cracks, head is dirty inside, there is plaster cement that was used to secure the sleepy eyes on rocker as most doll people do. The eyes have been fixed to remain open with additional plaster. They will not close. There is old glue residue on the rim of her head, I do not see any cracks inside. Her newer vintage brunette wig is long with locks of curls and secure on the pate that slips nicely over her head. Her replica clothing is"equisite" and in excellent condition, possibly hand made especially for her. Clothing is clean with a blue slip, pantaloons, matching hat, stockings and shoes. The bow ornaments on her shoes are missing. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. Luxurious antique silk in rose pink and ivory stripe pattern. This is a section from a Victorian era skirting. Being quite old. It does have a few very tiny crease splits, but nothing that hinders this lovely old silk from being put to good use. I have listed it specifically with my doll ladies in mind. Antique Stamped German Conta Boehme? Porcelain Bisque Girl Piano Baby Figurine
~ Antique German Piano Baby ~ Marked"Germany" on base with symbol that resembles a shield This is a large antique German bisque piano baby figurine that is from a deceased relative's China cabinet from the New Orleans area. I am not an expert on all the manufacturers of that era. But I do know that the authentic ones are marked or stamped with a symbol, crest or shield. This one has a stamp and also reads"Germany" on the base, while many others listed on eBay do not. So this one is not"probably" the real deal. IT IS. It is in the style of Conta& Boehme( This baby girl has golden tresses and is holding a cup. The era of this doll falls between the 1850s-1900. She has great, even pastel coloring and big dark-blue intaglio eyes with defined highlights, rosy cheeks with a hint of dimples, and an open smiling ... moremouth with row of molded upper teeth; blonde hair with pointy curls framing the happy face; bare feet with upturned toes; she wears a yellow embossed dress with gold highlights with blue lace ruffle trim and fuchsia pink bows at the shoulders, and she is holding a lavender-pink-colored cup. She is in overall fair condition. Because she is missing a little part of her index finger on her right hand. There is also a hairline on underside of base that slightly and very faintly extends up the bottom sides of the figurine(about 1/2-1/4 inch, please see photo) The hair line is smooth. I do not have the tip of the finger. PLEASE SEE PICS of underside and edge of base. Neither the hair line or little chip next to it is visible for purposes of display. I do not know enough about antique porcelain to know if the missing finger can be repaired/replaced, but I am guessing that this is possible if someone chooses to do so. There are a few scattered specks of spotty discoloration from age, the only ones really noticeable are on her toes. I'm unsure of the maker but they are good quality with intaglio eyes and they are definitely old. Both children are holding bowls with food in them and spoons as their pets look on. SIZE: The boy with the cat is slightly taller and measures about 6.75 inches high. CONDITION: There is wear to the gold that decorates the raised beads along their clothing and the edges of the bowls. The tip of the girl's left pinky finger is chipped. Her blanket is wrapped around to the back of the figure and it leaves an opening which is probably meant to be a match holder. No makers mark but it is most likely German in origin. Has the number 34 hand painted and the number 20 incised in the bisque. Pointed facial features with a narrow face. Blonde short curly hair under his hat. The young man has intaglio blue eyes and is dressed in an ecru colored outfit that shows fantastic detail! The sleeve cuffs and tied neck collar are in shades of pink and have a miniature tennis racket design on them and outlined in gold. All the gold is in great condition with only light wear. Antique 1900-20 vintage German Bisque Sunbather DOLL Head Perfume Bottle Stopper
Hello! Thank you for joining us in order to preview an exceptionally scarce and distinctive. Antiquarian vanity keepsake for any collection. Offered here is an original(circa 1900-20) Bisque doll head, perfume/oils bottle stopper, with the original glass applicator stem. The early bisque doll head appears to be in resemblance of an early beach visitor or sunbather; where her hat looks to be of the sort, worn by Victorian age swimmers. The antiquarian corker appears to be of German origin(see markings at nape of her neck) The stopper is of miniature sizing, with the bisque portion measuring approximately 1 1/4" and the entire perfume bottle stopper measuring approximately 2 1/2" length. The antiquarian stopper is in very good condition, showing no cracks, no chips, no repairs and excellent color accents. The glass stem is in very ... moregood condition as well. The cork plug shows obvious loss of the cork(see pics) typical with such early vanity items that were subject to extensive use. Superb! Antique German Porcelain Bisque Children Figure Bust Figurine Dresden
Gorgeous pair of Victorian handpainted busts of a little girl and boy. They date late 1800s and are beautifully handpainted and modeled. Measure approximately 11 and 10 1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide. They display wonderfully however the boy's hat has been broken and reglued to a section(see photos) and the girl is excellent besides a bit of paint wear on her chin and some nibbles to the very bottom base. Marked with hand painted and impressed numbers. Beautiful pair for the collector of fine antiques! Featured for Auction we have an Antique/ Vintage bisque figurine of a cherub on the side of a dragon headed sleigh. Wonderful coloring. Probably hand painted in pastel colors, with raised enamel. At least we believe this is bisque it may be porcelain. The little cherub is just adorable with his wavy hair, blue eyes, pink wings, and his arrow on his side. It measures about 8 1/2" long by 5" wide and 6" tall. We believe it is German in Origin, but are not certain as there are No Markings. It is in wonderful condition, with minor chipping on the flowers. Also we don't know if the dragons nose is supposed to blunt as it is or if it was pointy originally and broken off and repainted, as it is hard to tell. This is an antique perfume atomizer Made in Germany I believe. There is an impressed number on the back. I can't see the whole number. I can read 18 and the rest of it is hidden in the design. The bottle is bisque and seems to have a seashell motif or at least some kind of ocean or sea design. The figure on the front looks like a cherub or cupid with no wings that are visible. He has a band across his chest like for a quiver. Great detail and colors on this bottle. It measures 5-1/2 inches tall. The tip of the figures pinkie finger is broke off. Wow this is so different! He has a weird hat on made of paper mache. Maybe there was a red paper mache hat over it? His brown bag and red clothes are made of paper mache also. He is sitting on a cardboard log. One end is pushed in and I don't dare pull it out. The paper is so old and fragile. He has some of black paint on his feet for boots. Kinda feels like rubber. One has come off. Someone glued it onto something as there is some glue on the bottom of the log. There is a crack on the very bottom of the log. The log looks to be hand painted. He sits 6 3/8" x 5" wide. I believe this to be German but It doesn't say anywhere. We love our customers and do everything we can to assure a satisfying buying experience with us. The vase is handpainted only on one side as it was intended to sit on a mantel. It is 8 1/2" high to tip of boys' hat. And is it 5 3/4" long. The vase is about 3 1/2" deep. The vase is a sheath of wheat with a vine across the top. The young boy is beautifully painted with typical German clothing. And such detail on the pants. Note the knee socks.beautiful face. And definition work in his shirt. The ONLY flaw to report is a lost tip of the thumb on the boys right hand. It is very hard to notice. The famous Unger. This is for a pair of outstandingly beautiful antique German. Huebach made porcelain bisque figurines dating from 1890 and marked as such. Figurines done in the form of a man and woman with their alternate pets, ie; cats and dogs. Each measures 10 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the base. Condition is good with chips and are well worth the cost of repair. Should be worth about $1,000 repaired-easily. Delicate moss green paint in good shape. Both pieces very finely wrought. antique , German Bisque Vase from late 1800's.very Beautiful......
This is a very old. Very beautiful, Bisque vase,of a woman, and a child sitting on a bench, under a tree. I purchased the vase from an estate sale, about thirty years ago. It really is quite lovely. The vase is 10" tall, and approx. 7" at the widest part. The marking on the back makes me think that it is from Gafenthal, Germany, and possibly an Unger Schneider piece. There is a G, with arrows through it, followed by Dep and number 673, although it does not say Germany. I just noticed after carefully looking it over that he has the last two fingers on the left hand broken off. it is not noticeable from the front, if you look at it from the side you can see it. I will add a photo of his hand. There is very little damage, considering it's age. This is a very sweet and rare to find German bisque baby created by the Karl Schneider factory c1880-1910. He is one of the nicest I have had to sell. An adorable handpainted face! He is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs and measures just under 9 inches wide by 5 inches high. Marked on the bottom with impressed numbers of 10527, Germany and the Karl Schneider factory mark. He is a gorgeous baby for the collector!
