2 ANTIQUE DERBY Porcelain VASES 1784-95 Witches Japan Imari Urns Scroll Handles
This auction is for a pair of Antique Georgian 18th Century Royal Crown Derby 2 handled Vases or Urns. Both Vases are marked with the very early Derby Porcelain Works backstamp in use from 1784 to 1795- Pictorial Guide to Pottery& Porcelain Marks by Chad Lage. Copyright 2004. Page 84) The vases measure approximately 8 3/4 inches in height. 6 1/2 inches in width and 3 1/8 inches across there square footed base. Remarkably. One of the vases is in Very Good to Excellent Condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs with the only faults being very light wear to the gilding, an old, from the time of making, firing crack on the inside of the rim and a couple of brown spots on the inside of the mouth(I have no idea what they are from) The other vase has not fared so well. Both handles have multiple repaired breaks and three of the four bottom corners ... moreof the vase have chips- the vase still displays well; however if the repairs bothers the new owner. The vase, especially being one of a matching pair, is worth having professional invisible repairs. The vases feature an unusual Imari pattern with a floral decoration inside a green oval and gilded Faun or Pan Faces/Masks at the base of the handles. A wonderful example of 200 year old plus porcelain in a timeless Design and Decoration. Please see my other items! Antique Derby Meissen Porcelain Figural BLANC DE CHINE Candelabra GIRL ON BASKET
ANTIQUE BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN FIGURAL TWO ARM CANDELABRA 19TH CENTURY MEISSEN OR PERHAPS DERBY I SHIP WORLDWIDE IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale(see my feedback) However, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there ... moreis more than one item you are interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage. I never charge a"handling fee" I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately- not ship- and then be scored negatively by eBay for not shipping soon enough. Offered in this sale is a beautiful delicate well modeled blanc de chine porcelain candelabra. I believe that this was made by Meissen. However, I found the mark in a reference book that attributed it to Derby. In either case it is certainly of the period and quality. It measures 10 1/4" tall x 10" wide. What is amazing about this piece is the condition As you can see there are swags of tiny delicate applied flowers that wrap around the arms and base of the piece and form a centerpiece at the top. Almost all of them remain in tact and free of damage. I could find only a few tiny bits of loss. Otherwise, there are no chi

Gorgeous Pair 6 3/4" Antique English Derby Imari Porcelain Shallow Bowls
Gorgeous Pair 6 3/4" Antique English Derby Imari Porcelain Shallow Bowls I tried researching this particular mark but couldn't find it. I believe it is a 19th century English Derby hallmark. Beautiful Imari pattern with cobalt flow blue. Dark brownish red, and gold colors. No damage but there is some paint wear along the rims. The hallmark on the back looks like japanese writing with"DERBY" beneath it. This hallmark is under the glaze. There also appears to be a letter"N" off to the side. The bowls measure 6 3/4" across and stand 1 1/4" tall. Please feel free to ask questions. I would love to hear from you if you have any info on these bowls. Particularly, the age. Not sure exactly how old they are but at least the mid to late 19th century. Could be a lot earlier. This just isn't my forte' Shipping ... moreincludes insurance. Thanks for looking!

For some reason the Ebay U.K. site filters from view the posting of sales by U.S. sellers containing the names of some of the better and more highly collectable English and German porcelain companies. I have no idea why this is. However, I do ship worldwide so you are welcome to bid on any of the items. IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE ... moreTHAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you are interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. ANTIQUE ENGLISH PORCELAIN CABINET PLATES DECORATED BY JAMES ROUSE - DERBY MINTON
I have for sale a beautiful pair of Cabinet plates probably Minton. Derby or Worcester? Both appear to be by the same hand although I can find a signature only on one- that of James Rouse an important artist/ decorator of the time. Both are in superb condition with beautiful gilding(please see pics) The marks on the bases are incredibly difficult to photograph and each plate has what appear to be 3 impressed marks. On one plate the smaller marks look like a capital'H' and the Minton 1855 mark and a larger circular mark(I have tried to photograph obliquely) The other plate has two indiscernable small impressions and a similar larger circular mark. The circular mark somewhat resembles a Worcester mark but this quite outside my field of knowlwdge. These are absolutely beautiful and in super condition with some minor rubbing to gilding ... moreon very edge but not to the intricate inner section of gilding(please see pics) The postal charges quoted are for one option- I can post by other methods/costs etc Any Questions please ask
