this auction is for one picture frame. I have two for sale. if u buy both of them. The second one rides piggyback for free.wait for invoice before checking out. in beachside shops. They sold these to sunburned tourists on winter vacation. they're a little dinged up. Mostly on the back edge where it will meet wall. theres a little discoloration to the front. See pics. the discoloration i bit more on frame on the left. probably due to them being stacked together for a while, with that one on top. the one on the right is being sold first. They're banged up just enough to show age and use. they are 23 1/2" inches long and freekin awesome. Ocean City Beach City 150 Yds in Early Picture Box
This is an Ocean City Beach City 150 yds in a very scarce old style picture box. IMHO.this is a tough combo to find in this condition. The reel is not mint. Because it shows some specks of oxidation on top of foot and on the cross bars. But it's most certainly not bad, and. the reel has a very aesthetically pleasing appearance. It's imprinted on bottom of foot with name Beach City 150 Yds Ocean City Mfg Co.Phila PA. The spool appears to be made from german silver or monel while foot and cross bars look to be plated. I would say it's Ex- in appearance and strong Ex from mechanical viewpoint. The box shows wear. But it's solid. If you're high bidder and not pleased for any reason. Send it back. GT Rave Triple-Triangle Frame/Fork 54cm Classic Road/Sport Touring
Used and works great! There are no dents. Dings or cracks but the paint has scratches and is faded in areas. The seat-tube is cm measured center to center and the top-tube is cm center to center. I am not sure what the stand-over heights is but the rear spacing is 126mm. The bottom bracket and headset threads are English and the headset is included. The tubing is 4130 Cr-Mo on the main tubes. They do have some rubs, minor nicks, and some discoloration in the gold areas. These were purchased at an estate sale. They do each have glass in them, with a wood backing, ready for you to add your favorite photo or painting. The outside frame itself is 4 inches in width and 3 ¾ inches thick. It is actually 3 frames together, the inner frame being the gold gilt. You have a nice 1 ½ inch black carved portion, setting off the two gold frames. This is a beautiful Victorian frame. Oval with ornate design all around. Has a 1 1/2" depth. Has a pretty wedding photo in it that looks to be c1910-20. Can be easily replaced. Frame is in good condition. However has a couple of defects, two minor cracks in the wood that have been touched up and don't effect the use of the frame at all, its only on the front layer doesn't go all the way through. Antique 22" x 17" Dark Black Wood Picture Frame with Gold Leaf Gilt Border 1890
This is one of the most attractive antique frames that I have on ebay right now. It is a simple frame but I find it to be a really beautiful frame. This frame is from around the 1890s and is mostly a dark black with a bright gold leaf inside border. The rabbet measures about 22" x 17" Each side of the frame measures about 1 3/8" wide. On the side of the frame near one of the corners. There is a good sized chip(measuring about 1" x 1/4" and a crack extending from that chip. However, this damage does not effect the structural integrity of the frame and it not visible when the frame is hanging on the wall as it is on the side of the frame. Because you can't see it, I would still say this frame is still in very good condition. This frame is really gorgeous. There is a small plaque on the front that has the initials"H D" Between the letter there is also a tower/birdcage on stand. Not actually sure what it is. There is a black fabric bag stitched to the frame. When you push the buttons on either end of the decorative bar at the top of the purse. The purse pops open and is has a square shape. The only markings on the frame is the makers mark I mentioned above. The black fabric of the purse has a few spots where there are white paint drops. Also a small tear on the front side of this purse on the bottom left corner. Inside there is a lavendar silk lining that has 2 small pockets. The inside is in good condition. Antique Victorian Gesso Wood Gillded Picture Frame Large 18X15 Oval ~ Old Art
Up for bids at auction: Up for bids today is this round antique wooden gilded picture frame. This frame was an old estate find and is solid. And restorable/ usable. It has some cracking from age along with a place on the edge where the gesso has chipped away over the years and a few visible layers of old paint(see pics) and is just as found. It measures 18 inches long, 15 inches wide on the outside; inside the frame is roughly 11 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches. On the back side, it is made to take a square piece of glass measuring a little over 12 by 9 inches. The lip for the picture/ glass measures roughly 3/8ths on an inch deep. Antique Convex Glass Oval Frame with U.S. Navy Sailor Photo
Up for bidding is this Antique Convex Glass Oval Frame with U.S. Navy Sailor Photo. Photo is a hand tinted original image of a sailor using what is possibly a WWl navy uniform. Dating the picture is difficult since the Navy had different variations of uniforms issued throughout the years from the early 1900's to the early 1940's. The words"U.S. Navy" printed on the hat band could indicate early 40's yet the wide lid top could be an earlier issue date. Photo is missing a small piece on the top and has a crack across the bottom. Other small rips are visible from the front and there are old masking tape repairs on the back side of the print. None of these flaws really affect the wonderful look of this sailor's cross armed pose. Frame is made of wood with the original heavy coat of white paint. The frame's condition ... moreis pretty good yet shows its age with some joint cracking and crackling of the paint coat. Oval glass has a wonderful convex shape to it and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Please see the photos for further detail and condition views. We've made no attempt to repair anything on this picture. Only the top of the glass and frame has gotten a superficial cleaning to remove surface dust and grime. Large ornate antique gold picture frame from theVictorian era(late 1800s) The frame has a very ornamental design. It fits an approx 16 1/8 x 20 1/8 inch print or painting. Its exterior dimensions are approx 27 5/8 x 31 1/2 inches and it is 2 3/4 inches high. The frame is made up 4 separate pieces(see last photo) Most of the frame is in very good condition. However the medallion in the lower right corner(first photo) was missing and had to be replaced. It should be less noticeable when hung on the wall. There are also several minor dings, etc. as typically seen on frames of this age. It is being shipped without glass.

this is a mid 19th century silhouette reverse painting on convex glass. dimensions: 8 1/2" by 6" ps. A little back story.before photography only the rich could afford portraits-by professional painters. But almost anyone(despite the fact that George III and Catherine the Great were big fans) could afford a silhouette. Fashioned with just paper and scissors. Or coal black paint, the quickie silhouette could be executed by professional and amateur both and became the budget way to hang a loved one on the parlor wall. Nowadays, we think they're not just decorative, but soulful somehow, and attractively austere. This I believe. Is from England, European work can be more elegant as this one is.

Antiqued cove molded pine wood carved picture painting frame 20 x 24 rabbet EUC
Nice antiqued pine wood picture frame will accomodate a painting or print that measures 20 x 24" The rabbet is approximately 1/4" deep and wide. The actual frame is 28 3/4 x 24 3/4" a full 4 3/4" wide. It has three separate carved edges with cove molding in between. The frame is all one piece and is nailed at the top of each mitred joint. The carved surfaces may be applied strips of molding. It is hard to see beyond the gold(not gold leaf) or bronze finish. On the back there is an inscription: Happy Birthday. Love Martha and is dated 1993. The frame quality suggests an earlier date. At any rate it is a lovely piece, mellow and subtle with the wood color dominating and the gold just creating a quiet gleam. Great frame for your watercolor, print or perhaps even oil on board or paper. Since it is made of pine or another similar ... morelight weight wood, shipping will not be astronomical! CONDITION: There are a few places where the finish has been rubbed particularly at the top sides of the corners(not visible from the front. Interestingly. This portrait is that of Rubens own son, Nicolaas Rubens wearing a coral necklace(circa- 1619) This portrait often goes by two different names. Head of a Boy" as well as, Little Boy with a Coral Necklace" It is said ... morethat during his day, children were advised to wear coral necklaces to protect them from fits and anxiety. Paul Rubens was a proponent of extravagant Baroque-Style. it is only appropriate that his little boy be framed in this very Baroque gold-gilt frame. The 1890-1920 wood frame has exceptional gesso(plaster) ornamentation at the corners and the center of each side.showing layers of intricate scrolls. Flourishes, shells and leaves.exquisitely linked together with a chain-like garland. The gesso is in very nice condition with only minor cracking in one small area and one tiny probable repair nearby. Enlarge photos#6& 7. The original portrait was done in black and red chalk. Heightened with white chalk, which was then enhanced with pen and dark brown ink on brownish paper. This is a print of that famous portrait. I do not know the date of this print, but my guess is prior to 1970 when this frame was purchased by this estate holder. The backside of the frame has a paper that was glued to it that reads: 174 Rubens- Head of a Boy" The kraft paper on the back of this frame looks to be, at least, 1950 and perhaps older.
