Antique Austrian Alfred Stellmacher Turn Teplitz Girl & Boy Figurine Busts ~Cute
This is a sweet pair of victorian boy and girl figurine busts. They have gold gilt highlights on their clothing that has worn away over the years.boy is wearing a pink sailor shirt and the girl's clothing has a lacey scalloped edge around the neck. She has a ribbon running through her hair and a big bow on her right shoulder. She is wearing a gold beaded necklace.The bow on her shoulder has rough edges so there are tiny chips to it and the boy's shoulder has a chip and there is a chip to the bottom of his base. There are chips to the backs of the busts as well. The girl has one on the bottom front too. There are two spots on the girl where there were chips and someone tried to repaint them. They are located on her left side and right side. The girl looks like she has a repair to the back I can see a glue line.if not for the glue and ... morethe chip on the front of her I would have never noticed it. Keep all of this in mind before bidding. They are being sold as is because they are damaged. Despite everything they display beautifully and really adorable. Turn-Teplitz Ceramic Bust of Woman with Hat, Signed T. Schoop
Up for auction is this beautiful ceramic porcelain bust of a women wearing a hat. I did a bit of research and I believe the piece is Turn-Teplitz or Amphora. The bust measures approximately 7" high x 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" in depth. It is signed at the back: T. Schoop(Theodore Schoop) This signature appears on some other pieces of this period on the Internet. The bottom of the piece is marked with a handwritten R and the number 7905. Alfred Stellmacher Teplitz Amphora rose and gold basket 7" by 5" circa 1890s EXC
I have for auction this evening a lovely porcelain basket made at the factories of Alfred Stellmacher"of Amphora fame" in Teplitz Bohemia at the end of the 19th century. This beautiful basket features a lovely molded shape with heavy gilt handle and mottled gray underglaze on the body. Painted over the mottled gray glaze are large pink and red roses around the rim and smaller roses around the base. The roses were painted by a master painter of floral motifs as they are very realistic and beautifully rendered. I really cannot put into words how lovely this piece is in my eyes so please take the time to peruse my photo gallery to assess the merits of this fine piece. Item dimensions and dating: The basket measures 7" tall including handle and is around 5.25" wide with a base diameter of nearly 3.5" This piece dates ... morefrom the late 19th century by the mark and design elements. Condition report: This piece is in antique excellent condition. There is one item to note on this piece as there is a long fine line crack from top to bottom that can be seen inside the basket and from the outside with close magnification or loupe. I believe this is a craze line as there is fine line crazing throughout the piece as is normal for these wears and the crack does appear to be stable and the vessel holds water without a problem. There are no other cracks or chips and the gold gilt appears to be fully intact. I do not charge any handling fees and I will combine shipping whenever possible. True Art Nouveau Drop Edge Candle Vase TURN-TEPLITZ Amphora Works Reissner Vase
You are buying here.a real Art Nouveau beauty! This piece is a drop edge candle vase from Amphora Works Reissner. 1903-1918 as per the hallmark book I have. the hallmark is faint but is impressed with a crown above the center logo and is for sure as I stated. A photo is hard to do. but in person the reflection reveals it correctly.you have to trust me on this one. The assigned number is 548 with a 42 below that. This piece in the true Art Nouveau flavor which is really sharp. It stands at 6 1/4" high by 5 1/2" wide by 3 14/ deep. The flowers are enamel with a bee and clouds with the handle cascading into two leaves on either side. In my research I have found via Worthpoint. Being sold on ebay. This item on ebay in 2011 sold as a buy it now for 1825.00. I am offering a nicer vase for less and pretty much the same condition range. ... moreThe one on Worthpoint is of the jeweled nature. Mine and the one on Worthpoint are exactly the same vase mold, mine having the grass and daisy center panel. and the bright gold handle verses dull handle and the leaves with a patina type color verses shiny. If you need more photos simply ask and they are yours. At the very top there is a small loop that has broken off. A very easy repair. Aside from the damaged loop, there is a small chip which as shown in the photos which lead to a surface flake peel on the inside back of one of the leaves again both are an easy repair, and rightfully should be done to preserve this fine example. Art Nouveau Candlestick Matte Green SCARABS Jugendstil Style~Teplitz~Austria
Fabulous Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style chamberstick or candlestick in a beautiful matte green glaze. Possibly from Austria or Turn-Teplitz. Czech Republic(formerly Bohemia) This beauty is decorated on two sides of the stick with 5 scarabs in relief heading up the sides. The outside of the candle cup has a very characteristic relief Art Nouveau design. The handle gracefully curves down to the bowl at the bottom. The bottom is incised in three different places; the glaze has obscured the clarity of all three. It looks like it's marked: AUSTRIA 4433& an undecipherable mark that may be a company logo. There are is a 1 mm ding and a 4 mm chip on the edge about 1 3/4" to the front of the point on the left edge of the bowl when the candlestick is held in the right hand. It looks as though this was a factory flaw since the color appears ... morethe same as the candlestick. There are some tiny chigger bites along the edge of the bowl that can be felt only the a fingernail. These factors do not detract from this magnificent piece of Art Nouveau pottery. Several years ago. We sent a photo of this candlestick to David Rago, the well-known pottery and decorative arts expert who owns Rago Arts and Auction Center in Lambertville, NJ. He has been seen many times on the Antique Roadshow appraising fine pottery. He stated"Your chamberstick appears to have been made in the town of Teplitz or Turn in Austria at the turn of the century(20th) and is decorated in the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style" There is an interesting website that gives details of the pottery companies in business in the region from 1892 to the mid 1940s. http:www.collectics.com/education_amphora.html Unless indicated as new. This is a super art nouveau. Bisque finish, ceramic(porcelain? vase” A little girl in her peasant dress has found a large dragonfly that has settled on a giant nautilus shell– pure art nouveau! This is 7” at the highest point of the shell, and 6 ¼” at its widest, a very manageable size for a shelf or a table top. The only marking on the bottom is a hand incised number– 767(5” From the style, and quality, it reminds me of the work of pre-Czech Amphora, and I believe from Bohemia. Possibly the Turn– Teplitz region, or perhaps Bavaria. Wherever it was made. It’s a wonderful piece with a charming subject, and as I say– pure art nouveau! It is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small area that has a light stain along the base edge(red arrow) There is a small indent made by a tool( in production along the bottom ... moreedge(red arrow) At first I thought it was a tiny flake, but under magnification, you can see it is a push in of the ceramic. There are some tiny“imperfections” not 100% smooth) in the surface of the piece, as expected from work of this period. very fine and rare bohemian glass czech beaker ca 1835 to about 1845. With lovely cut glass engravings of churches and gardens in teplitz, the main panel reads ANDENKEN VON TEPLITZ, THE SECOND SCENE IS OF GARDEN TEMPLE, THRID IS GARDEN SARR AND LAST IS MARIALEHEIN CHURCH, just incredible, the goblet is clear cut with amber highlights, again the glass is in mint shape, must have been in a curio cabinet it's whole life, the glass measures 5 inches high and again is in mint shape,no chips or cracks perfect, remember this is over 170 years old, the glass is so beautiful it is a joy to behold,hope it goes to a good home, thanks and good luck!

The maize-colored pottery has a low-luster-to-bisque finish and all-over glaze cracklature. A charming young lady in a green Victorian-era gown with matching slippers and gilded ribbons leans against the rim of the vase. With her other hand braced on the handle behind her. Large Antique Amphora Cherub Basket Planter Turn Teplitz Art Nouveau Pottery vtg
Estate find. Marked Imperial Amphora Turn on the underside. Along with additional marks(as seen in photos) One wing has a 1/4" scratch mark that is rather deep. And the opposite wing on this cherub has a similar more noticeable 5/8" deep scratch. These two deep scratch marks dig into the porcelain enough that there is white showing(also flakes to the edges of the scratches) They were likely caused at the same time from something bumping into this area. The front top inside edge has an approximate 1/2" firing crack(maker related) The top area of the bow has several black rub marks. The back of the other cherub's head some black and brown marks as well. This cherub also has an approximate 2mm crater of sort on one of his front curls. There are varying levels of rubbing wear here and there throughout. Loss and dullness to ... moremany of the edges and raised spots. There is a good deal of overall darkening and discoloration. The planter definitely needs a detailed cleaning. Especially the inside. The lower interior has a good deal of whitish residue on the surface from being used. This residue can seemingly be flaked off with your fingernail. The tight spots throughout are dusty and dirty. The underside edge has an evident amount of darkening. There are other relatively minor maker related blemishes and signs of wear from being used. Handled and stored. Measures Approximately: 8 1/4" height x 12"width. These European art nouveau vases are real statement pieces. So decorative and striking. I have not been able to track down the mark as to be able to attribute them to a particular factory. I would imagine that they are either German or Austrian. They are a wonderful shape and the decoration fits the form perfectly. They each measure a staggering 18" tall and are marked to the base as seen in the images. They are in very good condition.

Vintage Czechoslovakian Krautzberger Teplitz Canister Set White w/Roses 12PCS
We are pleased to offer this very pretty set of vintage canisters. Made from porcelain. These date to the early 1940's. The base of all the pieces is marked: Krautzberger Teplitz. These were made in Czechoslovakia. The set is a bone white color with a band that goes 3/4 of the way around at the top. The band appears to be a transfer pattern. The trim is primarily black with other colors creating a thin band of geometric design at the top and the thicker band is made up of beautiful roses in varying colors.on a bluish grey background with green leaves. Above this section there is a thin band of gold near the top of each piece that also goes 3/4 of the way around. At the bottom there is a second thin gold band that goes 3/4 of the way around. Each canister has a cover that has gold trim on the edge as well as on the handle. The oil and ... morevinergar also come with small tops that sit inside them. These have the same gold trim as the other pieces. Tall Canisters: Coffee/ Tea/ Sugar/ Flour/ Oatmeal/ Rice ~ measure 6.25" high without the top and with the top they are 8" high. ~ Across the top the inside measures 3.5" x 3 5/8" Small Canisters: Nutmeg/ Ginger/ Mustard/ Pepper ~ measure 3" high without the cover and 3.75" high with the cover. ~ Across th etop on the inside they measure 1 15/16" x 1.75" Cruet Bottles: Oil& Vinegar with stoppers measure 9.25" high and without the stopper they measure 8" high. There is a crack on the bottom and side of one of the large canisters. There is a very tiny chip/flea bite on the top edge of one of the large canisters. One of the small canisters has a chip. There is also a chip on one of the small covers on the inside edge. There are some very tiny fleabites/uneven spots on the inside rims of some of the covers as well. The entire set will need to be cleaned but i am leaviang that to the new owner. This is a lot of previously owned items and they are being sold as shown. Collectors: here we have a PAIR of Antique Art Nouveau Royal Dux Amphora Turn-Teplitz Vase circa 1905 10 3/4 inches tall Excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no problems. A few people have asked for pictures of the bottom and about any marks on the bottom, I ADDED 2 Pictures of the bottom and I will explain(as best I can) the marks on the bottom, Looking at the picture of the bottom. You see on the right side some writing, it is in ink, there is some design that looks like the capital letter D or a C with a line through it and it also has the numbers 103 and it has an addition number 3 under the 103. OK That's the ink part on the right. Now the impressed marks. In the Center there is what looks like 4 impressed letters. With either the first letter being M, or the last letter being W, I do not know, the marks are filled in with the ... moreglaze finish and I can't even tell which way is up. ALSO. On the left side there are ALSO impressed marks, it looks like the top of a 9 and a 7, I think it says 97, the 7 part is very clear and crisp. Hope the pictures and explanation helps. This gorgeous piece is as perfect as the day it was made. It measures 5" across the widest area. The early Teplitz stamp on the base is a little light. But reads AMPHORA MADE IN CZECHO-SLOVAKIA within an oval.

Turn Teplitz Stellmacher Amphora Bohemian Art Pottery vase
Verified c1870-1880. 7 1/2" Spherical base tapering to tall in slender cylindrical neck shoulder loop handles, figures in glazed little boy and a girl grooming and washing their hair and faces with a wash cloth. At the bottom of the vase, stamped Fred Stellmacher Teplitz mark, 2230" 157" 8, verified seal and in a chocolate green color. All of marks and figures in this pottery was fired-up during the process. No known reproductions made, This vase is an original art work marked Fred Stellmacher, owner of several pottery factory in Europe during his time. This pottery is spotless, and kept in excellent condition. Dimensions: 7 1/2" Tall. 6 1/2"wide, 3 1/2" handle span, 1 1/2" spout opening, and 3 3/4" diameter base. It weighs 1.6 lbs.

This is a charming Ernst Wahliss dressing table trinket box modelled as a seated maiden with swan finial to the cover. It is fully marked to the base and measures 11.5cm tall and 10cm long. Sadly there is some damage with chipping to her hair. Toes and the base foot rim. The gilding is also rubbed in some places. That said, the damage does not detract from it's beauty.

ANTIQUE TEPLITZ FIGURAL CHERUB JARDENIER POTTERY This is an old vintage antique wonderful in person large pottery jardenier of figural cherubs fresh from estate. It is marked Stellmacher Teplitz and also EST on bottom. It is 9" across top and 12 1/2" across at widest point and 7" high. It has a stunning glaze that looks like bronze with gold highlights. There are 3 figural in relief putti plaques being 5" by 3 1/2" and 1 1/4" in depth from vase. These are very 3D or sculptural. On the inside there is a dark line around rim on bottom that I cannot feel with finger. I do not think it is damage I think it is part of making. See close up. The underside where the marks are have a very few very very light craze lines that is not worth mentioning. I have taken closeups of all of this. This is a very unusual and stunning Austrian Riessner. Stellmacher and Kessel Amphora pottery vase decorated with seahorse handles and dating to around 1900. I have never seen this model before it is highly decorative. This piece is extremely well modelled and handpainted. It just totally works as an object from a design point of view. It measures 29cm tall and is fully marked to the base and in excellent condition. A great piece.

Description I have this very Lovely Vintage Vase to offer. The stamp on the bottom of the Vase says"Turn Teplitz Bohemia RStK made in Austria" The Vase approximately measures about 5" high measuring to the top of the spout. About 5-1/4" to the top of the point on the handle, approximately 3-1/2" wide at the belly and has a 2-5/8" base, the top opening is small measuring 1-1/8" The Vase has a neutral background with a hint of soft gree and is decorated with pretty Roses and other mixed flowers in nice shades of pink. Mauve, blue yellow and deep green leaves outlined with gold gilding. Th e Vase is in good condition with no chips or repairs. There is light crazing. I noticed a line on the handle that I'm not sure about. It could be a light hairline or it could be a crazing line. I'm not sure. I used ... morea magnifying glass to look at it closer, the line goes across the handle unevenly but it is not all the way through you can't see anything on the opposite side of the handle. R St. K Amphora Teplitz Bohemia Dragon Floral Ewer Pitcher Austria c. 1890s This art pottery ewer crafted by Reissner. Stellmacher& Kesse St. K. Turn-Teplitz, has been consigned to us from a local estate. It is in very good condition for its age. I haven't noticed any chips or cracks. It features a dragon shaped handle. I did notice some normal crazing associated with age in the inside and bottom. There is a teeny weeny chip in the giltz at the side of the base and some minor ware to the giltz on the neck of the dragon handle- shown in pictures#13& 14. This ewer with gold giltz neck. Handle, and base stands approximately 7-3/4" tall. It features a floral pattern. The bottom has the maker's red hallmark and some impressed marks- Impressed"Amphora" partly legible, 02076, an oval shape, and more. The first Amphora ... moremanufacturer was Reissner. Stellmacher& Kessel using a red"R St. K" mark beginning in 1892. Combining unusual shapes with striking glazes, this company is recognized as the best in Amphora although there were many other ceramic ware manufacturers in the Turn-Teplitz area. R. St. K's work was introduced in the U.S. in 1893 at the Chicago's World Fair where they were awarded"best in show" Their display at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904 also earned accolades. Measurements are: 10" high and 4 1/2" x 3" at base. Sepia shades with gilt accent this wonderful depiction of a Pit Bull Dandy, thought to be the"mascot" for the Amphora Porcelain Works. Embossed on the bottom is Amphora Austria in a cartouche with the numbers 2096 45 and a crown(Royal Crown? Stamped in red under the glaze is Turn Teplitz Bohemia RS&K. There are raised clay edges, the ornate beaded handles have a relief swag or rope type look. A row of relief gold gilded and gloss glazed white flowers with a soft yellow or green pastel color center and gold stems are just beneath the rim. A large bouquet with the same type of relief floral plus green leaves decorate the inside. Three butterflies or other insects are also handpainted into the design. There is alot of attention to detail in this work of art and it rivals similar ceramic ... morepieces from the art nouveau turn of the century era. Some of the gold gilding has dark age patina. Looks somewhat green in areas. Mostly on the base. There's some areas of loss to the gold gilding(mostly the handles) and overall crazing to the glaze(lines are visible on the surface) There's one small nick/chip on the rim. It may have been made during manufacturing. The gold color on that spot matches the rest of the gilding. Zoom in or e nlarge the pictures for more clarity. They are a part of the description. The dimensions to the top of the rim are 5 3/8" tall by 9 7/8" across the handles. Measuring to the top of the handle it's 6 3/8" The item weighs almost 5 pounds with the packing materials. Photos were taken with the flash on and off. Any bright or white spots were created by the camera flash or lighting. The actual color of the item may appear lighter or darker than pictured. Shown is a VINTAGE TEPLITZ VASE that is signed by STELLMACHER(see last picture) This handled vase is larger having a heighth of 13 3/4" The body is a mottled gray over gold. Front decoration is of roses. It is model#2148(over) 12.1198. Turned under top rim is a different touch. The base has 4 low spade feet or pads upon which the vase rests.
