It is quite tall and has a slender body which then opens up into the trumpet shape top which has a decorative pattern around the wavy edge. It has a circular knop to the base of the slender body and it has a filled circular base. Which I have covered with red felt. This is a wonderful example of the Rococo Period work of Carl Schneider. It has the impressed mark with the DEP dating it to 1879- 1887. Also impressed is the number"7758" and a red painted number"114" for the artist that did the hand painting. It shows a boy with a hat holding a basket of fruit and he is holding one apple up high in his left hand.He still has gold remaining on his pants, though the cold painted gold has begun to turn which is normal. Most is still there. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks and we used a UV black light to chek for any repairs and there were none. The piece measures 7"T X 5 1/2"W X 3"D. Antique Indian Sterling Silver 4" Tall Relief Decorated Flower. Bud or Spill Vase circa 1910 This Antique Flower. Bud or Spill Vase measures approximately 1 1/2 inches or 38 mm across the width or diameter of its upper body from side to side by 1 7/8 inches or 48 mm across the width or diameter of its foot or base from side to side and it stands 4 inches or 1 02 mm tall to the top of its upper rim. The vase is made from 42.2 grams of a high grade sterling silver in a trumpet like circular tapering shape with a relief fluted upper body that has a leaf like upper rim and it stands on a raised step decorated foot that has a shaped lower rim. The vase has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram and the underside of its base has been impressed with an unknown Indian silversmith or makers mark PVR all as photographed ... morebelow. Although I have been unable to find any silver marks as such the vase has been tested and it is guaranteed as being made from a high grade 925 standard sterling silver. I estimate that this vase was made in India circa 1900- 19 20. The condition is used and Excellent for its age. The vase has No Large Dents. No Holes, No Splits, No Cracks and No Repairs that I have found, the vase stands straight, the decoration and definition is very crisp, the vase holds liquid without leaking. The silver makers mark is still legible although as this is a used antique flower vase it does have the odd small shallow dent around its body and rim along with the obvious signs that it was hand made and it has some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use. It has the patina of age that is to be expected and a gentle clean would not go amiss. Personally I think that this antique flower vase can still be used today and that it would make a superb addition to any collection, I also think that it looks fantastic considering that it's around 100 or so years old. WMF VINTAGE SILVER PLATE TRUMPET POSY / SPILL VASE WITH BEEHIVE MARK TO BASE!
Here we have a very clean and presentable silver plated WMF trumpet vase. Measuring a little over 13 cms tall. With a diameter across the top of 5.5 cms, the piece weighs in at 134 grammes. Unfortunately. I am unable to produce a clear shot of the mark to the base but can guarantee that it is clearly stamped and has the W above the MF within a rectangle, with and arch over the top. As I understand it, this is what is known as the Beehive mark and was used between 1925 and 1965. The piece was purchased at auction in a lot of silver plate. Most of which was Victorian/ Edwardian and without having a great deal of knowledge on this factory, I have to admit that I am struggling to give a truely accurate date and don't wish to merely guess or assume. The vase is handpainted only on one side as it was intended to sit on a mantel. It is 8 1/2" high to tip of boys' hat. And is it 5 3/4" long. The vase is about 3 1/2" deep. The vase is a sheath of wheat with a vine across the top. The young boy is beautifully painted with typical German clothing. And such detail on the pants. Note the knee socks.beautiful face. And definition work in his shirt. The ONLY flaw to report is a lost tip of the thumb on the boys right hand. It is very hard to notice. The famous Unger. You are bidding on a wonderful old piece of delicate porcelain. Very light weight and in absolutely beautiful condition. This piece measures 4 1/2" high to the top of the vase and 4 1/2" long from the girls arm to hr foot. This belongs to a woman who is over 80 years young and downsizing. There are no chips or crazing to this figurine. It has a faint mark of what could be the tips of a crown and a number and looks like it is a Shafer Vawter Germany mark which puts this back to the late 1800's early 1900's. Buyer will have to know this one and any help would be greatly appreciated. and the lid does have scotch tape(yellowed) across the top to hold it on. The bottom shows some pock marks. Antique Challinor Slag Glass Spill Vase
This spill vase is in g ood condition. But it does have a chip on one of the feet. This chip does not make the piece wobble, and it is very difficult to notice on display. The colors are lovely. The gilt decoration is worn on some areas, but most of the gold still remains. There are several tiny dark specks on the inner top back edge. These tiny dots did not come off when I cleaned the vase. In fair condition- one has a chip to the rim of the vase- but they don't have any other cracks or repairs. Shepherd and Shepherdess that is 10 7/8" tall x 9 1/2" wide and the number 163 impressed on the bottom. Made from bone china, with the figure of a huntsman, with his dog, modelled on the front. It is not in very good condition. There is restoration to one of the points of the foliage on the rim, and a chip on another point. It measures 13.5cm(5.4 inches) high. It is a lovely old Victorian spill vase. Made from lustre glazed, bone china, in the shape of a piano, with two cute pigs playing it. It is in good condition. With no chips, cracks, or crazing. The base is Hallmarked sterling silver Birmingham 1984 with the makers mark for the silversmith William Broadway. Measures 200mm tall and 46mm diameter at the rim. The vase is in very good condition. Click on the ME icon by our eBay name or This is a wonderful Bisque Spill vase with a figurine of a bathing/swimmer from the late 1800s. This is a fairly large figurine measuring 13 1/2 inches high and has a 6 inch by 5 1/4 inch base. A spill vase would have been placed on the fireplace mantel to hold rolled paper tapers called spills. These were used to transfer fire from the fireplace to another place. The figurine is probably from the Germany/Bavarian area of Europe. There are no marks other than the number 86 impressed in the bottom. The detail is wonderful! A vintage Goebel spill or posy vase in the form of a green eyed cat. Marked to base and stamped foreign. In good condition with no chips or cracks although there is some crazing. I think it would date to the 1950s. Stands about 11 cm or just over 4¼ inches high.
