4 Cobalt and Gold Garland and Medallion Here listed are 4 antique flat soup plates. Age estimate is late 19 th/Eartly 20 th Century American. There are no markings on the bottom to indicate age or manufacturer. 9-7/8“ in diameter. No chips or cracks but some very light crazing on all of them and discoloration on one. I have used these to serve a first course of fresh fruit to guests for breakfast. Soup for dinner and soufflés for dessert. The center bowl measures 8 ¼ inches or 21 cm high to the top of the handles. And is 10 inches or 25.4 cm wide from handle to handle. The center bowl has a vibrant magenta pink glaze with a hand enhanced scene at the front featuring a courting couple in an outside setting. Around the cartouche of the couple are heavy applied gold highlights. The handles of the center bowl extend from the shoulders to the sides of the body. Antique Japanese/Asian Multi-Color Decorated Ceramic Bowl
Beautiful Eastern Antique Ceramic Bowl We were advised by an antiques expert that it was possibly Japanese in origin. And probably produced around 1900. It has very pretty colors and a nice patina with subtle crazing. Interesting dragon and leaf motif in red, green, and blue glaze. The bowl measures a little under 9"22 cm across the widest part and stands 4"10 cm tall. There is a very unusual notch in the bottom. It is not a chip. But a deliberate feature of the bowl that serves a purpose we are not aware of. Our expert was unable to shed light on this notch either.

Antique Ceramic Bowl Beautiful Blue Red Pattern Gold Asian or Asian Inspired
ANTIQUE CERAMIC BOWL WITH BLUE AND RED FLORAL PATTERN This piece appears to be quite old. Cannot verify age or origin as it's unsigned. However the pattern leads me to believe that it is either Asian or an English piece that has an Asian inspired pattern. The bowl has a round mouth but the sides have some panel style shaping, sits on a very small pedestal style bottom. Due to age. This bowl has some hairline cracks and the interior shows a lot of wear. Probably best used as a decorative piece. Also the bottom shows wear with a small chip on one edge of the small pedestal area. Crazing is also evident. This is an interesting piece of antique ceramic pottery with the coloring being a base white with a flo blue bleed where the draped stems's glaze was painted on. Overlaid on the blue was a gold. The flower motif extending from the end ... moreof each stem is a vermillion red and there are scattered bright green leaf shapes. Taylor and Knowles Co- Rustic Jardiniere from the LOTUS Ware line. Lotus Ware has two known marks,both in green and the one is a circle with crown on the top and"Lotus Ware" printed around the outside. Inside are the initials K.T.K. Co with a crescent and a star- see picture of that mark on the bottom. Lotus Ware express the Art Nouveau influence of the era with flowing body styles and applied decorations. I purchase a lot of depression era glassware at estate sales and this bowl was in with them and some others. I do not know how old it is or who was the manufacturer. It is really pretty with blue leaves and a blue border. Then there are painted flowers that are raised on the side of the bowl in pink and green. Antique English Blue Willow leaf shaped pickle dish 18th
This pickle dish is 6 inches long. 5 3/8 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches high. It is decorated in the blue willow style with light blue. The underside is decorated with veins. The glaze on the underside has a light green tint to it. This is English, likely made by Worcester, Coughley or one of the other potters active in the mid 18 th century. There is a large chip on the edge of one of the leaves. There are some other small chips as well.

Rare 1873 Stone Chinaware Co. St. John's P.Q. White Ironstone Relish Dish w/ Lid Description: Rare 1873 Stone Chinaware Co. St. John's P.Q. White Ironstone Relish Dish w/ Lid Offered is a very nice Antique White Ironstone relish dish. It is hallmarked on the bottom with stamp for Stone Chinaware Co. St. John's, P.Q. It dates to the 1800's. A genuine product from the St. Johns. P.Q. pottery is rare. This was Canada's most important 19th-century pottery, established by the Farrar family in 1873 and surviving until 1983, when it was destroyed by fire. During this time it produced high-quality pieces rivalling those made by more established European firms, the most important being the white-bodied stoneware known as"Ironstone" in England. I believe this is a relish dish; I have not seen one before. Lovely embossed ... morepattern around the top edge of the dish of wheat and the lid is decorated with the same wheat pattern around the edge and more heavily embossed on the top with berries and also the knob which is designed to look like a curled vine. The biscuit jar is in good condition but not perfect. The lid is very good with no chips or cracks and very minor wear. However. The dish/bowl does have a hairline on one end; please refer to photo#6, and also another line on one side, please refer to photo# 7 and 8. There is overall crazing to the finish and some age discoloration as might be expected. Little imperfections here and there but not overly excessive considering the age of this rare piece. Please view the photos. They can be enlarged so you can see all the details. The relish dish measures 1 3/4 inches high and about 2 7/8 inches front to back by 8 1/8 inches side to side. Baker Fenton Potteries White Ironstone Biscuit Jar with Lid Offered is a very nice Antique White Ironstone biscuit jar. It is hallmarked on the bottom with an incised registry mark for W. Baker& Co. Fenton. It dates to the 1800's. The pattern name is included: Potomac Shape. And the registry mark on the bottom has a O which would indicate that the design was registered in 1862. A hard to find. Very early piece of white ironstone. Lovely embossed pattern around the center of the biscuit jar of leafs and berries and also on the lid which has a curled vine as a knob. The biscuit jar is in good condition but not perfect. The lid is very good with no chips or cracks and very minor wear; it does have a small spot on the side. ... moreHowever. This beautiful porcelain bowl features a hand painted portrait of two women in a scenic garden accompanied by two angels. A woman and a child. The portrait is set on a white back round with an elegant gold border. The sides of the bowl are light green with a gold floral pattern as well as a small bouquet of flowers on every other scalloped edge accented by a lovely purple color. The scalloped rim has small gold flowers around the rim accented by gold trim. The underside of the bowl is white with several identifying marks on it. Vintage Prinknash Pottery Set from Gloucester England, Prinknash Abbey
Beautiful Vintage Prinknash Pottery made in the Prinknash Abbey in Gloucester. England by the Monks. These are Black, Gold with a raised White Floral Design. The Gold I was told is 24Kt but I am not certain of that so I am calling it Gold Paint. These have been used. The Creamer is approx 2.5" x 3.25" with painted gold inside and on foot. Excellent condition. The Sugar Bowl is approx 3.5" diameter. 1.5" tall. Painted gold on inside and on foot, gold paint on inside rim worn because of the use of Sugar. The crystals have rubbed against the paint when it was used. Otherwise Great condition. The Vase is approx 4" tall. Mouth 2.25" d, widest part of base is 3.25" diameter. Gold painted on foot. Gold on inside is worn from use. Minor scratch on vase that had been painted/glazed over by the Pottery and if you ... morelook along the Flower design(very faint) you will see a finger print in gold by one of the Artists! This I'm pretty sure is Staffordshire. It's very old, and it's charming, a small ceramic basket design trinket dish, or toothpick holder. It measures 2 3/8" wide across the top, and roughly 1 1/2" high. The base is roughly 1 1/4" in diameter. Please read condition report and view all photos, and I will mention again that all those rough edges on the lip are filled in with clear glaze, and not chips or nicks, especially the nook over by one of the bows, which really looks like a nick, but isn't. AGE on this is elusive, the experts will know, with Staffordshire it could go WAY back, and I'll share that this was from a close-out of a very nice little shop in Northeast Harbor, Me. These are creamware with an orange transfer printed design of grapes and vines and additional hand painted bands and trims. These baskets are a wonderful pierced open work shape with dolphin head handles. Condition is excellent. There is a small chip on one of the baskets near the dolphin head handle(see last close-up picture) Apart from that they are perfect with no other damage and no repair or restoration. There is some wear from age and use. The baskets measure 8-3/4" long. 5-1/4" wide and 2-3/4" high. The under plates measure 9-1/4" long and 6-1/2" wide. Two women in foreground are seated by the river's edge. The cartouche on the back of the plate includes an eagle, a scroll bearing the name'Aurora' and the initials of the maker: B.H. Co. Beech& Hancock manufactured earthenware in Tunstall from 1851 to 1855. This is an excellent early example of English transferware. The bowl is in good condition: having no chips or cracks. Bordered by textured and hand painted green anemones and leafage. It is accented by a scalloped edge with gold trim and flowers. The underside of the bowl is white and has no identifying marks. Antique PRMK Germany, Ceramic Hand Painted Rose Serving Bowl - # 1631/527
This stunning PRMK German serving bowl features a large cluster of hand painted. Dark pink, light pink and white roses in addition to small blue flowers all of which are surrounded by green foliage. The cluster is set on a white back round accented by a small pink rose and blue flower on every other scalloped edge. The rim of the bowl goes from pink to white around the entire rim and has a textured dot pattern accented by textured flowers in between each scallop. The underside of the bowl is white and is marked PRMK Made In Germany and is numbered 1631/527. It measures 10 inches across, 2 1/2 deep and 31 inches around.
