Antique, Unmarked, Hand Painted Ceramic Rose Serving Bowl
This exquisite unmarked. Hand painted ceramic serving bowl features a large cluster of pink, dark pink, and white roses as well as two small rose clusters all of which are surrounded with green foliage. It is set on a dark green back round that fades to light green and is accented by a gold trimmed scalloped rim. The underside of the bowl is white and shows no identifying marks. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches across, 2 1/2 inches deep and 31 inches around. This piece is in good condition however it appears to have a few original paint marks on the backside of the bowl. Please see the photos for more detail. Circa date, 1900, Condition, Fair, Wood, n/a, Dimensions, Bowl Width- 15" Depth- 15" Height- 6" Jug Width- 10.5" Depth- 9" Height- 10.25" Made in England Stamped Doulton Burslem Majolica style See description and pictures for condition, This interesting set was recently purchased at an estate auction in England. The large jug and bowl were most likely used for washing. Based on the stamp on the underneath of the bowl we estimate their age to be from around the year 1900. The stamp reads Doulton Burslem and appears to be the stamp used around the end of the 19th. Beginning of the 20th century. We are not experts in this type of item and have included a picture ... moreof the stamp so you can make a determination for yourself. Regardless both pieces of china are quite beautiful and would make wonderful decorative accents in the home. The jug measures 10.5″ on the long side including the handle x 9″ and is 10.25″ tall. It does have a hairline crack which we have included an image of. The bowl measures 15″ in diameter and is 6″ tall. There is a small hairline crack inside which does not go all the way through. The foot of the bowl was broken and repaired as you will see in the pictures. A very beautiful set! This hairline inside the bowl does not go all the way through. The broken and repaired foot. Cobalt blue bowl with a hand painted center floral design(dusty rose flower with smaller purple and yellow flowers around it) Has gold accents. Beautiful scalloped edges that add to the beauty and richness of this bowl. Height of bowl is approximately 3 inches. Has a hallmark on the bottom that says it was made in Romania. Above the picture it has JRJS and the word Cluj and a Rose symbol. There is a gold 17 and a red rectangular stamp that I can't read becasue it is too faded. Approximate measurements: 10" diameter 3 1/2" high Excellent condition. There is one pit mark? that may or may not be original to the piece on the side of the bowl. The artists' initials on the bottom are AA with a symbol of 2 arrows passing through an O. The bowl features triangular openings all around the top and is painted in shades of blue. Opaque Stone China by Anthony Shaw& Son. This is a lovely bowl that is detailed in the famous Copper Tea Leaf Luster trim work. The bowl measures 3 1/8" tall by 6" in dia. We have seen this bowl refered to as an Oyster Bowl. Perhaps for Oyster Stew. This Bowl is in Good condition with No Cracks. NOTE: small chip on on bottom of pedestal, but it has been there and glazed over since the bowl was made) There are some glaze pop's from the 19th century firing on the inside, that are barely visible on the bowl. Very pretty bowl marked PV Made in France on the bottom. Measures 5 3/4" across and 3 1/4" tall. Looks like a transferware bowl with pictures of game birds and pheasants and flowers. No chips or cracks but there are 3 small brown spots on the inside. Very light brown, hard to see. Color is vibrant with little signs of wear.

Set of 4 antique bowls the bottom of each bowl says Czecho Slavakia on 2 lines see pictures there is also the number 275 and the number 23 they all have blue decorations of windmills and boats around the outside. The largest bowl measures 8 inches across and approximately 4 inches high. Then a 6 inch in diameter bowl approximately2 3/4 inches high, then a 5 inch bowl approximately 2 1/4 inch high and the smallest is 4 inches in diameter approximately 1 3/4 inches high. The total weight of all 4 bowls is 4 pounds without any shipping materials. the bowls have some wear and crazing on them. but are very unique and interesting.

Antique W.E. Corn Longport Turine/Covered Serving Dish, Autumn Pattern
For sale is an Antique W.E. Corn Longport Turine/Covered Serving Dish. In the Autumn Pattern and made in ENGLAND, c 1904. The dish and lid are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. There is some wear to the gold trim and some manufacturing flaws such as kiln marks. The dish and lid are of the same pattern but do not fit correctly, I think the lid id for the next smaller size dish. The dish measures nearly 12 inches wide, 6-3/4 inches deep and 5 inches high to the top of the handle on the lid.

AMATEUR PAINTED LIMOGES FRANCE BOWL SIGNED AND DATED 1902 FLORAL MOTIF
back at the turn of the century. Ladies were encouraged to be knowledgeable in all the decorative and homemaking arts, including painting porcelain. There were blanks that could be bought and then painted. the young lady would then sign and date the object. This is one of them. Dated 1902, I cannot read the name. The first letter is missing but the rest is onlander. This is a very nicely painted floral shallow bowl. There is one condition issue. There's a chip near one edge that appears to have been painted over, so it would be very old. take a look at the subjects. Its very pretty! Measures 8 inches across and 2.5 inches deep.

Anthony Shaw-Stone China-Tea Leaf-Oval Vegetable Casserole Baker-SOME DAMAGE
This is an Anthony Shaw-Tea Leaf- stone china oval vegetable casserole baker. I've seen this described as Lily of the Valley Tea Leaf also. The stamp is Anthony Shaw Warranted[from] Burslem. I am not an expert on pottery. I know this is an antique but I'm not sure that the top of this dish matches the bottom. The bottom dish is darker than the white top. The bottom has the copper rim and the tea leaves. The top has the lily of the valley knob(or tulip knob? Embossed leaves surround the bottom and embossed leaves are on the top. The dish has lots of crazing. Some hair line cracks on the inside of top of the dish and near the knob, and a hair line crack on the inside of the dish. The bottom rim has some minor chips on the edge of the dish. I pictured the one that is the most pronounced. There is some discoloration on the inside of the ... moretop and as noted the top is a different color from the bottom. I tried to take good pictures of the damage and of the difference in shade. This is a very old wash bowl which shows its age with discoloration and crazing but no chips that I could find. There are some raised pieces of porcelain here and there. Royal Austria Hand Painted Bowl O. & E.G. Oscar & Edgar Gutherz Artist Signed
You are bidding on a beautiful Royal Austria hand-painted bowl. It is marked O. E.G. For Oscar& Edgar Gutherz, on the bottom. The bowl measures 9" across and is signed by the artist. It is in nice condition overall, though it does have a chip under the scalloped edge and one spot of wear on the interior of the bowl. I have shown close-ups of these areas. German Porcelain Reticulated Bowl and Trinket Dish
Selling a German reticulated bowl along with a small reticulated trinket dish. They have different marks on the bottom so I believe they are two different makers. Both are in overall good condition with just wear to the paint and some roughness along the bottom rings where they touch surfaces. The bowl has one very small crack on one of the reticulated sections, visible in photo#4 and also will need more thorough cleaning in those as well. The diameter across the top of the bowl is approx. 8 1/2" and 2 1/8" high it is marked Germany 160 on the bottom. The trinket dish is marked only with the letter A on the bottom and it is 5 1/4" lengthwise and 3 1/8 width. C. 1901+ Large Antique Hand Painted Rosenthal Bowl - Gorgeous!
Gorgeously hand painted C. 1901+ Rosenthal bowl. This bowl is beautiful with the strawberries and gold detail. In very good antique condition with no chips or cracks. It measures approx. 10" at the widest part and approx. 10" at the longest part. The depth of this fine bowl is approx. 2 1/4" As you can see. The bowl is not just round, but has a beautiful shape to it. What is also interesting is that it was decorated on the side as well! Definitely from the early 1900's when china painting was all the rage and companies like Pickard and Stouffer. As well as others, were hand decorating the blanks of other companies. It is well marked with the Rosenthal mark from that period. The word"Bavaria" is very. Very faint, partial and hard to read. The shape of this Rosenthal piece is Savoy, as marked on the bottom. I don't ... moresee a signature on this piece but as wonderful as it is that doesn't matter. Just a gorgeous antique porcelain bowl that would any one would be proud to own and display. In today's age of mass produced items this was and still is something to be treasured. Quality items. Such as this, are getting harder and harder to come by and costing more and more when found. Transferware Platter Brown; 1830 Nvioxos?? Rare Pattern
A very nice rare brown transferware platter. Back is stamped with mark that could be"SOXOIALL" or"NVIOXOS. According to research. This pattern was introduced in the 1830s, the original maker is unknown. The platter is appx 12 inches tall by 15 inches wide. Number 14 is also impressed on the back of the platter. It is free of chips and is in beautiful condition for the age. Platter has minor crazing and a fracture that can be seen from the back. Back has a few firing marks. Majolica, and other fragile pieces made during the fourth quarter of the 19th Century, I’ve come to the conclusion that using the term“pristine faience” in a sentence is much like using the terms“military intelligence. Nonetheless, I continue my search as the Dionegnes of faience. This wonderful compote. Stand, or whatever you prefer to call it, ... moreis a pure delight in spite of a few dings, chips, lines, etc. It now has real character. Folks use the term“chippy” a lot when describing old paint. Country primitive furniture. I think I’ll start using a similar approbation for most faience: Dingy. I’m sorry. While setting up a photo shot using fruit to illustrate how perfectly this stand suits the purpose. I found something that frightened me at first. Then it made me mad. See what I mean? It is homey with a comfortable presence. And it just reeks of country charm. Height = 5 ¼” Bowl = 9 ¾” diameter by just over 2” deep Diameter of base = 4 ¼” But. just look at that strawberry I found in the bottom of pint I bought at the local grocery. This is ridiculous! You’ll notice the little dings and chips as we go. And you’ll also see that only a couple actually invade the top rim. The mark seen above was used at the Chesapeake Pottery on their Avalon faience from 1882 through 1884. I’m still ticked off by that strawberry. Just look at that thing. For sale is this signed Pillin Pottery bowl featuring a beautiful woman posing with roosters. Pillin pottery was made by Polia(1909–1992) and William(1910–1985) Pillin. Who set up a pottery in Los Angeles in 1948. William shaped, glazed, and fired the clay, and Polia painted the pieces, often with elongated figures of women, children, flowers, birds, fish, and other animals. This lovely bowl has a scalloped rim that looks air brushed with gold color. Three clusters of pink and yellow flowers are around the interior sides and one smaller cluster on the center bottom. There is one chip approximately 1/4" l x 3/16" w on the base ridge and there is crazing on the interior and exterior. There are no other rough edges. Nicks, chips or cracks.
