3 Allertons England Fine China THE ASCOT pattern 9" Soup Bowls Quality Old Piece Offered here are 3 vintage soup bowls made by Allertons England. They are of The Ascot pattern. They are in good condition with no breaks or repairs. They do show signs of age to the finish with some surface crackle and darkening. They measure 9 inches in diameter and stand 1 1/2 inches tall. I've tried to take a number of pictures so that you can judge for yourself this items quality and value. Please feel free to email me any questions that you might have about this item. Lovely Set of 7 White Ironstone Bowls Plates H. Burgess Burslem England c1860
This auction is for a Lovely Set of 6 Matching Soup Plates and 1 Salad Plate made by H. Burgess of Burslem England in the mid to late 1800s. All the pieces are in good condition especially for their age. There are no chips or cracks or repairs to any of the pieces. They all have age-appropriate utensil marks and crazing as is expected from ironstone of this era. One bowl has minor discoloration in spots(see last photo) Two plates have very minor fleabites or potters marks on the edge which I believe were done in the firing process(see photos 10& 11) Some might consider the bowls soup bowls while others might call them deep plates. I believe"soup plates" fit best. They measure 9 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. The plate measures 7 3/4 inches across. All the pieces are thick and heavy and have the same H. The bowl measures 5 inches or 12.5 cm high to the top of the rim. And is 11 ½ inches or 29 cm in diameter at the top rim. The bowl is done in the Chinoiserie style. Mimicking the Chinese export designs. It has a high white glaze with multi-color hand painted floral decorations. The outside has panels of flowers and leaves in different patterns all separated by a border of cobalt blue with applied gold highlights. The interior of the bowl has large colorful floral bouquets. White with a pink rose on both sides of the cup, and the handle has three strips of Sterling silver lines the middle one is thicker. The cup is 6 and 1/2 in.s long so it is a good size. Description Black Transferware Soup Plate Isaac Wilson& Co. This is a soup plate done in black transferware with a floral pattern. It was made by the Isaac Wilson Co. Middlesbrough, Yorkshire between 1852 and 1887. The soup plate is 10 1/4" in diameter and stands 1 7/8" high. Apparently this was a flow pattern as there is a slight grey color to the glaze. There is crazing on the bowl but it is consistant with age. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs that I have found. This bowl is still absolutely stunning! This is a beautiful Bavarian filigree bowl with white roses in the center with green leaves and some rose buds. There are two handles that are filigree. On the bottom. There are three marks: One reads: Bavarian China Handpainted-There is another mark signed 2327 with a 15 underneath and the third is Bavaria incised in the glaze with the mark also incised in the bowl. there is also a signature under one of the leaves in the inside of the bowl reading"Hagmann" It measures about 8 1/2 inches from handle to handle and about 4 inches tall from bottom to handle. It is identical to the more common TRELLIS pattern but it has a yellow/gold background rather that the deep blue of TRELLIS. It was designed in the early 1920's by Frederick Rhead. Father of important ceramists Charlotte Rhead and Frederick Hurton Rhead. The piece is, of course, tubelined which was a Rhead family hallmark. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips. Vintage Porcelain MZ Austria Green Scalloped Handled bowl with Roses and Gold Gild circa 1884 to 1909 This is a vintage 1884 to 1909 MZ Austria hand painted 10 1/2" bowl. It's in good condition for being approximately 116 years old. The only flaw is that it has one small 1/16”chip(see pictures) Otherwise there are no cracks, crazing or repairs. The color is green with gold gild and pink roses adorning this beautiful bowl with openwork handles on either side. There is some very minor fading of some of the gold as seen in picture. The MZ Austria mark(back stamp) as seen in the pictures was used from 1884-1909. This piece would look beautiful in your display case or hanging on the wall. Antique Max Roesler Bavarian White Fine Porcelain Reticulated Bowl 1894-1922
This auction is for a beautiful Antique Max Roesler(born- 1858. Died- 1922) Bavarian Fine White Porcelain Reticulated Bowl. The bowl has the original Blue under Glaze Pottery Stamp of RMR(it looks like RVR, but after research I found that it actually is RMR which stands for Roesler Max Rodach.Rodach being the town in Bavaria that the piece was made. The RMR is placed over a shield with a Rose on it. This particular stamp was the original stamp that was initially placed with the Landgericht Sacher-Coburg-Gotha on October 15, 1894. The Pottery Stamps did change as time went by, so I would have to assume that this particular bowl is one of the earlier pieces. Also incised on the bottom of the bowl are the numbers 5768 2. There is a small chip at the lip of the bowl and some slight discoloration in the bottom of the bowl. ANTIQUE 1810+ GEORGIAN DAVENPORT GREEN MAJOLICA DISH 200 YEARS OLD
Description This is an Antique Georgian period Davenport green vine leaf. Twig handled majolica serving dish. This is in very good condition for being approx 200 years old. It has all over very fine crazing to the glaze and some very minor glaze wear to the some folds in a raised area in the bowl. There are no cracks. It has a couple of very small chips to the leading base rim underneath and a very small area of glaze flaking on the underneath of the handle. None of this is visible when on display either upright of flat. The dish is impressed with the arched Davenport stamp half visible with the anchor marks. TH IS AUCTION IS FOR A PROV SAXE E.S. GERMANY EARLY 1900-1920'S 6" by 5 1/4' DOUBLE HANDLED DISH DECORATED WITH BEAUTIFUL DELICATE CORAL/SALMON COLORED ROSES ON SHADES OF SOFT GREENS BACKGROUND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. It is also decorated with gold rose leaves with some roses outlined in gold and filled in with a soft pink shade. The border also has gold trim. This was made in the Erdmann Schlegelmilch factory in Germany. There is light wear to gold rim as would be expected due to age. There are no chips. Cracks or crazing. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. This showed up in the family estate.

This is a gorgeous Antique Deruta Italian Majolica Pottery Bowl with Teal Rooster in very great condition! There are no chips or cracks. As shown in the picture there is a very small hole inside of the bowl. The hole was probably made when the bowl was made as there are no cracks around it and the glaze is continuous over it.
